NOTE FOR ALL PAINITNG ITEMS :- The following precautionary measures shall be ensured by the contractor during execution of work :- (i) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of materials (proprietory materials) in sealed containers required for painting works covered under subject contract in the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit. (ii) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis and the empty containers/ bags shall be deposited in the store of Engineer -In-Charge by the contractor, for verification as per standard consumption/ coverage prescribed by the manufacturers. (iii) Before applying cement base paint/weather proof acrylic emulsion paint contractor shall use the wire brush for the removal of loose paint, dust, algae, moss and filling of crack using crack sealent and cleaning of surface by spray jet. (iv) Application of cement base paint strictly done by spray/mechanical spray machine only, otherwise 30% cost shall be reecovered from the respective item. (v) After completion of painting work contractor shall remove and clean all the droplets/stain of paint left on the floor, glasses and joinery.

NOTE FOR PLUMBING AND SANITARY ITEMS:- (i) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of plumbing and sanitary wares materials required / covered under subject contract in the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit. (ii) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis. (iii) make specified in BOQ will supersede to all.

Material and labour complete removal of existing treatment of wall/ceiling(Internal) surface by scrapping with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vaccum suction mechanism) of RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of grit 80 and dia 7"/9" to make surface free from dust, loose paint etc. by skilled labour and applying two coats of oil bound emulsion destemper of approved tint over and including 3mm thick neatly finished wall care putty to get smooth finished surfaces on old/new walls by "auto roller" (having dimension - 190mm x 80mm x 40mm, voltage supply :- 220 to 240 volts, power- 45 watt, maximum pumping height - 4 metre, flow - 400ml/min) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour complete removal of existing treatment and preparation of old plastered or unplastered surfaces of wall and applying two coats of cement base paint including priming plastered and other surfaces with alkali resistant primer complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :- (i) filling of cracks,holes and dents are includes in the rate quoted. (ii) Proper curing with water to be done before and after application of first coat.

Material and labour preparation of old plasterd or unplastered surfaces of wall and applying one coat of oil bound emulsion destemper of approved tint by "auto roller" (having dimension - 190mm x 80mm x 40mm, voltage supply :- 220 to 240 volts, power- 45 watt, maximum pumping height - 4 metre, flow - 400ml/min) over and including 3mm thick neatly finished wall care putty to get smooth finished surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour preparation of old plasterd or unplastered surfaces of wall and applying one coat of cement base paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour preparing plastered or unplastered old surfaces of wall including brooming down or scrap down with steel wire brushes, smoke soot, moulds, moss efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spot and applying one coat of dry distemper (any tint) on walls complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour walll care putty of 3 mm thick as in interior / exterior on wall / ceiling surfaces of any description finished smooth and even surfces complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour preparation of old painted wooden surfaces of any description exceeding 10 cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description exceeding 10 cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour repairing the leaking deteriorated and torn out chajjas and parapet walls by removing all the lose material from the top of the chajja be means of light hammering and chiselling remove loose concrete cover only and Clean all loose particles by high pressure jet water so that All surfaces should be sound, clean and free of contamination followed by application two coat of polymerised cementitious coat like Pidilites Pidifin 2k or equivalent, while second coat is wet apply a 10mm dash coat of CM plaster with the waterproofing compound Make : Dr.fixit or equivalent as approved by GE, completing the repair work by final finishing and providing proper slope of 15 mm thick rendering to prepared surface in cement mortar(1:4) all as specified and directed to be finished even and smooth using extra cement including mixing of waterproofing compound as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed. (700/- SQM)

Material and labour wall paper -wall coverings in repair to be made from vinyl (PVF), coated with plastic; rustic metalic/ Natural Finish/ Cork & Mica Finish/ wall texture finish; to be colour fast and washable with dust repellent property. Application of wall paper as per approved sample. Rate to include surface preparation abd application as per manufacturers standards. complete all as directed by Engineer - In - Charge.

Material and labour PVC interlocking wall panelling 5mm to 7mm thick of surface finish natural wooden finish shed (in minimum size 1200mm hight x 300mm wide). Panel is to be fixed on framework with screw fixed horizontal or vertical to wall at every 750mm with centre & edge bracket in tongue & groove system on framework. if required the cavity of framework should be inserted with rock wool with 48 kg and 50mm density and alongwith all accessories and direction of Engineer in charge, including required flashing, U shape groove and other required accessories complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Demolition of stone slabs/flooring of any description laid bedded and pointed any mortar and complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour granite slab machine cut for 20 mm thick bedded and jointed with colour cement to match cut to shape required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour marble slab baroda green 16-18 mm thick (pre grinded and polished ) bedded jointed and painted with grey cement slurry including cutting and grinding /poished including 15mm thick 1:6 bedding layer. The edges should be rounded and stone should be in one piece complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour machine cut cudappah stone slab 20-25mm thick over cement screed base, laid and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and polishing including over and including screed bed or bedding layer 15 mm thick in cement mortar (1:6) for laying floor finishes complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Description all as per ser No 86 but on step /riser skirting over and including 10mm thick rendering in CM (1:4) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour kota stone slab flooring 20-25 mm thick over cement screed base laid and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match including 15 mm thick screed bed in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix aluminium anodised barrel tower bolt 200mm long complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix stainless steel sliding door bolts, plate type, with stainless steel bright bolt not less than 12mm dia with and including a minimum of 6 bolts and nuts, four on bolt plate and two on staple plate and fixed 300mm long complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix flat iron 25x3mm thick conforming to Fe-290, Gde E-165 in hold fasts complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour petty repairs to leaking water in bib taps, pillar taps stop cock, angle valve, wall mixer, kitchen mixture, WHB mixer, PVC connection waste pipes, float valves, concealed stop cock, GI pipe joints bottle traps and small fitting of galvanized iron medium grade such as socket, elbow, nipple, Tee, union, reducer etc suitable for 15mm bore pipe etc of any description by changing the washers, spandle etc or any other minor accessories to make the system functional complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour petty reapirs to high / low level flusing cistern by adjusting the float valve, leakage PVC connection PVC / GI bend incl replacing of rubber washer cheek nuts plunges etc for any type complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Easing of door shutters (Wooden / Aluminium / Steel / Collasible gate) for easy closing / opening tightening of hinges or changing the position of hinges adjustment of tower bolts, sliding bolts, handles with new screws by oiling, greasing and other minor fittings etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Easing of window shutters, kitchen cupboard shutters, show case shutter drawers including fixing of screws adjusting handles, knobs tightening piano hinges including misc small adjustments complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour rewriting letters or figures (block roman italic or indian) using synthetic enamel paint of colour as approved by Eng-in-Charge of not exceeding 30 cm height and not exceeding 5 cm width complete all as specified.
