Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GRC) Panel: Supply and Fixing of Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GRC) Panels of approved size, thickness, design and shade as per Drawings and Technical Data Sheet, glass fibre shall be an alkali-resistant, continuous filament fibre developed and formulated specifically to have high strength retention in Ordinary Portland Cement environments. The glass fibre shall have a minimum ZrO2 content of 16% by weight, in accordance with internationally-recognised standards, and shall have a minimum strength retention (determined by Strand In Cement-SIC testing) of 300 MPa, along with OPC, Sand (having high Silica Content, white & in equal mess sizes), Water, Admixtures, Polymers, Additives and Pigments (if required) conforming to BS 1014, pigment being harmless to the GRC’s set and strength, stable at high temperature. and UV-resistant and alkali-resistant, panels are manufactured by a spray technique and to be formed of GRC in moulds to achieve the profiles indicated by the architectural drawings (If an architectural face mix is being used, this will first be sprayed into the mould. The thickness shall generally be the minimum possible to achieve the desired finish, which will normally make it at least 20% thicker than the largest sand or aggregate being used and normally 4 mm minimum and 12 mm maximum thickness. An acrylic polymer should be used in the face mix to reduce any risk of this unreinforced layer cracking, If no face mix is being used, a mist coat consisting of the basic mortar composition without fibre may, if necessary, be sprayed onto the moulds to prevent fibres from being visible on the finished surface of the product), minimum thickness of panels recommended as 8 mm for hand-spray and 6 mm for auto-spray, but the actual thickness shall be as per drawing only (control of thickness shall be achieved by using a pingauge or other acceptable method), inserts, if required, shall be properly embedded into thickened, homogeneous areas of GRC (waste material such as over-spray is not acceptable to encapsulate inserts or for bonding pads), any rigid embedded items bonded to the GRC shall not create undesirable restraint to volume changes, including chamfering of edges to the required groove size as per architectural features, packing, transport to site, storage, stacking and fixing of the panels at any level, making good of minor chippings/ cracks in panels (GRC will be repaired with MS Rod, if necessary and rectified materials shall be strong enough to withstand. Any major damage in panels shall be cause for rejection of the same and free replacement shall be done as per discretion of the engineer-in-charge without any extra cost), all complete as per drawings, specifications and direction of the EIC. (R.A.)
Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GRC) Screen: Manufacturing, packing, supply, storage, stacking and installation of GRC Panels Screen having V-Grooves at all sides, of approved size, thickness, design, texture, colour and shade etc. at any level including material, labour, tools and tackles, all kind of lead & lift, safety measures etc., finished as per architectural requirement and satisfaction of the engineer-in-charge, all complete as per drawing, specifications and direction of the EIC. GRC Panels shall be fixed in line with architectural drawings/ views with suitable screws/ washers/ nuts/ bolts etc., non-corrosive in nature, and located at suitable spacings to ensure support of panels without creating undue stresses to the panels under thermal movements and/or moisture movement. (R.A.)
Fabricated work: Providing Fabrication & erection of steel structure as per drawings including materials, consisting of plates, rolled steel joists, channels, angles, chequered plates etc and also rectangular / square hollow steel sections, insert plates in RCC/Brickwork, anchor bolts for steel structure, sleeve pipes, anchor nuts, washers etc, straightening of raw steel if required, fabrication of steel structures with primer and minimum two coats of anti corrosive paint, incuding Finishing with Epoxy paint (two or more coats) at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer’s specifications including appropriate priming coat, preparation of surface, etc. complete. including preparation of supplementary sketches and detailed bill of materials supply of bolts, nuts, washers, shims, packs, putty. gas, welding electrodes and all other consumables, as required and carrying out surface preparation all complete. The scope includes loading, transportation ,unloading and delivery and erection site of all fabricated structures, alignment and welding of all structures true to line, level, plumb and dimension, including rectification if any, splicing, site assembly all as per technical specifications and drawings, ,all complete . Contactor shall provide certificate for the fabrication structure. Rate inclusive of shop drawing. (R.A.)
