EXCAVATION : Excavation in unpaved ares of earth in the work sites for cables trenches for a depth upto 1.5 meters including shoring, strutting etc. (if necessary), backfilling the trench after cable laying with excavated earth or sand within the work sites complete in all respects including consumables, tools/ equipments and labour. The work shall be performed as per specifications, drawings and directions of Engineer-in-charge/ Site Engineer.
EXCAVATION IN HARD ROCK : Excavations in hard rock requiring chiselling for cable trenches upto depth of 1.5 metres, including shoring, strutting (if necessary), excavated earth or sand to be back filled (after cable laying) to the finished level and excess earth to be disposed off within the work sites complete in all respects including comsumables, tools/ equipments and labour. The work shall be performed as per specification, drawings and directions of Engineer-in-charge/ Site engineer.
WBM ROAD / DYKE CUTTING : WBM Road/ Dyke cutting for cable trenches including shoring shrutting etc. as required and repairing of the road/ dyke to original condition and disposing off excess materials within the work site (s) complete in all respects including consumables, tools/ equipments and labour. The work shall be performed as per specifictions, drawings and directions of Engiener-in-charge / Site engineer.
CABLE LAYING : Laying and testing after laying of all type of owner supplied cables (PVC/XLPE/ Armoured/ Unarmoured/ Power control) in trenches, in cable racks, in trays in protective pipes, in poles, on structure, in columns, in conduits, in panels, etc. including supply and installation of all required materials such as fixing clamps, screws, cable straps, tags etc. as required (other than the supply of the conduits, cables, pipes, cable racks, trays, poles, structures and panels), equipments and labour as per specifications, drawings and directions of Engineer-in-charge/ site engineer. Cable length shall be measured after laying.

The job includes installation on concrete foundation including transporting, unpacking, rigging, aligning etc.; centrifuging, filtering, dehydration of transformer oil to bring insulation level of oil to the recommend value as per IS and as per manufacturer's specifications; making the necessary conductor and cables (HT, LT & control) connections including installation of HT cable termination kit at transformer end, earthing of the transformer (neutral earthing thru NGR, transformer body earthing and earthing of Marshalling panel, NGR panel,etc. ), oil filling, making good and replacing the silicagel as needed; fitting and fixing all accessories, instruments, cables etc. supplied separately / as a loose items if any, by employing all the required materials such as lugs, glands, silicagel etc. The job also includes supplying of all tools, equipments, consumables, labour etc. as needed to install the transformer complete in all respects as per specifications, drawings and directions of Engineer-in-charge/Site Engineer. Construction of shallow foundation with M20 grade concrete for the highmast considering the safe soil bearing capacity at site as 10 T/sqmtr at 2 metre depth complete with all materials and labour as per instruction of Site Engineer/EIC. Supplying and laying 40mm down stone aggregates of required thickness for Transformer pit, Substation and other places at all depths / heights all complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. [Note: Payment shall be made on sta ck measurment basis. 1/13 of the height shall be deducted to account for the voids. Measurements shall be recorded prior to laying].
Providing and laying Non-Woven Geo Textile Mat NW 300 made from high quality polypropylene fibres having mass of 300 grams/ SQ.M of GAYATRI or approved equivalent make inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per manufacturer's recommenda tions and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Filling the excavated earth to required grade, level & profile in low lying areas including watering, ramming, compacting at optimum moisture content to 90% of Proctor's density consolidation by rolling with 8 to 10 tonne power roller in layers not exceeding 20 c m thickness, including clearing the area by cutting of shrubs, bushes, grass, vegetation, debris etc. stacking and disposing out of plot area to an unobjectional area as directed by Engineer-in-Charge complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, mate rials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
