Earth work on berms including excavation of earth. In all kind of soils including dressing the bank, side slope to given levels and templates after breaking of clouds, including the cost of rolling and watering all allowances for labour hardness wetness irrespective of all lead and lift, but including Compensation for earth taken from private land, fields etc. and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer of the work. (X-Section attached at) page no. 95 of DNIT.

Providing and laying 5mm thick slurry seal consisting of a mixture of fine aggregate, Portland cement filler, bitumen and water on a road surface including of cleaning of surface, mixing of slurry seal in a suitable mobile plant, laying and compacting to providing even riding surface as per clause No. 512 of MORT&H specification -2013 using aggregate and binder content as per table No. 500-29 of MORT&H specification 2013 latest edition including cost of bitumen complete in all respect as per direction of engineer.

Providing and laying bituminous tack coat with bitumen grade (VG-10 ) using 2.00 Kg. per 10 sqm. Area of existing bituminous surface complete in all respect including cost of bitumen V 10 as per clause No.503 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision of 2013 / latest edition instruction issued from time to time regarding bitumen VG 10 will be followed strictly.

Providing & Laying 30 mm compacted thickness of Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 80-100 THP Batch Type Hot Mix Plant with bituminous binder CRMB-55 @ 5.4% (minimum) and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic payer finisher with senson control to the required graded, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory or with pneumatic tyred roller of 12 to 15 tonne weight with tyre pressure of at least 0.56 MPa and tnedem rollers to achive the desired compaction as per Clause No. 507 of MORT&H specification (Vth revision)-2013 complete in all respect. If bitumen required is more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made. Extra bitumen required will considered as incidental to work. Note:- Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & Stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%,anti-stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor. Thickness of BC laid over the existing black top surface is be adjusted in such a manner that a camber of 2.5% is achieved. Any extra quantity over and above the quantity provided in the DNT, required to achieve 2.5% camber shall be incidental to work. Note:- Before laying BC on existing road surface, any existing pot holes and cracks shall be repaired and sealed in accordance with clause No. 3004.2 and 3004.3. Proper measurement shall be made, these are incidental to work.

Providing and marking center line /side line 2.5 mm thick minimum) and other markings as per drawing and direction of Engineer in Charge with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paind 10cms wide (centre line) /15 cm wide (Edge line) complete in all respects as per the dimensions given in IRC 35, furnishing all labour, materials, tools equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site conforming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road & bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic paint material shall have the name, trademark or other means of of identification of manufacturer batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Pain- Apemark/berger-sigmare/Prismo. The glass beeds shall be of Potters/Soitec / Flexolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test report from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material showing all tests specified and shall certify that the material meets of all requirement of the specifications. The Reflextorizing galss beeds shall meet the requirement sof clause – 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause – 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beeds. The method of thickness measurements shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (Part-3)

Pavement Marker (Cat Eyes) Moulded shank raised pavement markers made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 KG tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No. W/NH/33023/10-97-DO III dt. 11.06.1997. The height width and length shall not be exceed 50mm, 100mm and 100 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm. On each side and the slope to the base shall be 35+/- degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19+/-2 mm and height not less than 30+/- mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer’s recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer (of reputed make such as Avery Dennison/3M.

Providing & fixing hazard marker of size 900 x 300 mm made of 16SWG CRCA sheet with back support of MS angle 25x25x3mm complete board processed by heat teautment process. High intensity, Microprismatric sheeting on front side, providing with leg post, of ht. 1.5 made of MS angle 50x50x5mm.

Providing & fixing road side delineator of height 1200 mm made of M. S. tube size 100 x 80 mm having thickness 1.2mm of height 900 mm and balance 300 mm of M. S. angle 25 x 25 x 3 mm. Having micro prismatic retro-reflective panel conforming to IRC : 67-2012 type 4 HIP and of size 80mm x 150mm on both sides as per clause No. 800 of MORT&H. Complete delineator processed by heat treatment process to makes it resistant to all weather effects fixed in C.C. 1:2:4 block size of 300 x 300 x 450 mm as clause No. 806 of MORT&H specification 5th revision 2013.

The item for which no rate or price has been entered in will not be paid for by the Employer when executed and shall be deemed to be covered by the other rates and prices in the Bill of Quantities (Refer: ITB Clause 13.2 and Part I General Condition of Contract 39.3). 2.
