(As per scope of work of SBD Annexure C)Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of diesel engine alternator set (Kirloskar/AshokLeyland/Sudhir/Mahindra or equivalent reputed make)with an acoustic enclosure conforming to the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, and Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986, latest as amended upto date, and the latest CPCB Norms capable of delivering not less than 40 KVA / 32KW at typical site conditions including all accessories like common base frame, AVMs, Starting Batteries of low maintenance type suitable capacity for cranking duty and 12V DC system with leads and terminals, including battery charging dynamo, residential type silencer and suitable Exhaust piping up to silencer with supports, minimum 100 liters inbuilt fuel tank with outside filling Point, with suitable manual control panel and comprising the following as per the detailed specifications attached as required.  Diesel Engine:- Four cylinders water cooled continuous duty rated engine of suitable BHP at 1500 RPM with mechanical/ electronic governor with class A0 or higher suitable for above output of 40 KVA or 32 KW at NTP site conditions and conforming to latest updated CPCB norms, with optimized turbocharger, coupling, residential grade silencer inside the acoustic, radiator, coolant corrosion inhibitor.  Alternator: - Synchronous alternator of rated at 40 KVA/32 KW at 415V, 0.8 Power factor, 50 Hz, 3 Phase, 1500 RPM. The alternator shall be having SPDP enclosure, fly wheel housing with alternator, self-excited and self-regulated, brushless, continuous duty self-excited and self-regulated through AVR suitable for tropical conditions and with class H insulation or higher. And suitable size PVC insulated copper conductor interconnection cable in suitable pipe between alternator and standard control panel.  Standard Manual Control Panel :- CPRI approved Standard Manual Control Panel comprising of 1 No. 4 Pole, 100A MCCBwith O/L & S/C Protection having adjustable release range and breaking capacity not less than 25 KA at 415 V with no voltage release, Digital multi-display meter for current ,voltage, frequency ,power factor and power etc, with necessary CTs and indicating LED lamps, With SMPS based Battery Charger 10A, 12VDC ( in case of 12V starting system) inbuilt static battery charger with automatic trickle and boost charging and auto cutoff facility etc.Warning indications- shutdown indications due to failure in the Genset and phase indications for displaying analog/digital instrumentation. The AC analog/digital meters for indicating output of the generator in kilowatt, frequency, voltage and current shall be provided. The necessary alarm/ status display for the engine and alternator data shall be incorporated.  Acoustic Enclosure: - Prefabricated factory built, free standing, floor mounting type acoustic enclosure of modular construction suitable for accommodating the 40 KVA Engine Alternator set with standard control/ instrument panel, fuel tank etc. The DG set should have acoustic enclosures to meet stringent sound emission standards laid down MOEF/CPCB, designed to have optimum serviceability, color coated, sturdy design fabricated with necessary reinforcement and fabricated out of steel sheet and should have provision of drain plugs. The door should be gasketed with quality gaskets to avoid leakages of sound. The door handle should be lockable type. There should be provision for emergency stop.  Earthing: - G.I Chemical/Gel earthing, minimum 03 No. (1 for neutral + 2 for body) as per standards properly fitted with Earthing G.I strip/wire.  Laying of output cables: - Providing and Laying of PVC insulated and PVC sheathed 3½ core 50 sq. mm aluminum conductor power cable of length minimum 25 m for power connections as per site requirements of any reputed make (conforming to relevant IS standards). The cables are to be duly carried along the ducts/walls firmly with proper fasteners and clamps or to be laid/buried on ground as per site requirement. The cable ends are to be fixed with suitable capacity aluminum thimbles heavy duty duly crimped at both ends for each length of the cable. Also, providing and fitting of 100 A changeover switch (Havells/HPL/Schneider or any equivalent reputed make) handle type of standard reputed make.  Installation Testing and Commissioning:- DG set with acoustic enclosure and control panel with all equipments, accessories and associated items on the cement concrete floor / suitable size RCC foundation of M20 grade and conducting Acceptance Testing of the Engine Alternator by arranging necessary consumables like Lube oil, fuel oil, providing artificial resistive load with cabling,switching arrangements etc. for pre Acceptance Testing( i.e. 2 hours full load, 1 hour 10% overload and 1 hour at no load) and final Acceptance Testing of E/A set (i.e. running of E/A set on full load for 6 hours and running on 10% overload for 1 hour) including topping up of lube oil up to full mark and filling of extra fuel up to a level suitable for 2 hours full load working etc. as per specifications as required. Complete job includes labour charges (skilled, semi-skilled), hire charges for the machinery used like tools and tackles required for the execution of job along with the cost of material, transportation charges, installation charges, handling charges including of all kind of taxes as applicable.
