REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF DG SETS AND ASSOCIATED WORKS AT TECH AREA AT AF STNS UNDER GE (AF) CHABUA

Material and labour for servicing of 25/30 KVA DG Set by carrying out the following maintenance including testing on completion at connected laod for entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge and complete all as specified and directed at site. (i) Draining out engine oil feom the sump by removing drain plug,cleaning the sump throughly and refilling the sump with new engine oil to required level (ii) Supply and replace complete set of fuel filters, oil filters and air filter element. (iii) Draining out complete coolant water mixture from the radiator and refilling the radiator with new coolent and water mixture with proportionate ratio (Note : coolent will be measured and paid separately as Supply only) (iv) Draining out diesel from disel tank and storing in cleaned containers,cleaning the tank throughly by removing sediments settled at the bottom and refilling the drained out diesel duly filtered. (v) Check and top up the electrolyte/distilled water in starting batterie cells to maintain the required specific gravity.Cleaning of battery terminals & applying petroleum jelly to battery poles & brass connectors. (vi) Tightening all the fasteners of complete DG set to the required torque. (vii)Tightening of all gaskets, connection of battery terminals, cable connections, foundation bolts, coupling bolts etc including test running and tappet setting of alternator by checking and setting of voltage and frequencies complete. (Note : Spare parts will be measured and paid separately .

M&L for drain out the old unsv engine oil from sump of DG sets & cleaning &n refilling with new engine oil 15 W 40 up to required level including top up complete all as specified and directed at site.

M&L for drain out old coolant from radiator and topup of best quality pre mixed coolants in radiator of any capacity DG set complete all as specified and directed at site.

M&L for top up of distilled water in DG set battery as per required level complete all as specified and directed at site.

M&L in repair rewiring of DG control panel of 160 to 180 KVA DG Set with 10 sqmm , 6 sqmm, 4 sqmm , 1.5 sqmm copper wire with proper size of lugs/socket/clamps etc complete all as specified and as directed

Attending of emergency complaint in any breakdown of standby DG Sets/AMF panels up to 320 KVA DG set at any place in AF Stn Chabua,whenever required round the clock, rectify the fault and restore the standby supply with in 8 hrs after receipt of the complaint other wise a recovery of Rs. 500 / per day recovered from the contractor.

De-scaling of radiator assembly by carefully from the engine,transporting to civil workshop and removing the sediments,scales and rust etc by means of chemical cleaning,high pressure water washing and air cleaning, arresting the leakages by gas welding/soldering with suitable material, and re-assembling the same with new gaskets including replacement of radiator cap(whereever required) and transporting to the site, fixing to the engine for DG set of capcity 25/30 KV and testing for satisfactory performance complete all as specified and directecd at site.
