REPAIR OF SUMMER APPLIANCES, HOT WATER APPLIANCES (GEYSER), REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF INTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION WORK IN BILLET AREA AND OTHER MISC E/M WORK UNDER GE (AF) SRINAGAR

Disconnecting all water and electric connections of geysers and taking down carefully storage type electric geysers of any capacity of any make / type / size (horizontal / vertical) lowering and setting aside, opening geysers examining and checking thoroughly for requisite repair / replacement of defective / worn-out / unserviceable components / parts materials including preparing inventory for each geyser separately in presence of Engineer-in-Charge and removing all scale and dirt de-scaling of deposited in inner copper tank and outer tank and heating elements with descaling solution or aqua clear pedilite solution, thermostat, indicator lamp, assemble checking electrical connection, stopping of minor leaking by soldering / brazing of the inner copper tank and replacement of defective worn out unserviceable components / parts with new parts, re-fixing geyser in its original location including hoisting, connecting to water & electric connection and testing for proper functioning of geysers including earthing to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Note - (i) Contractor will Employ proper skilled electrician and helpers with necessary tools, safety equipments for attending geyser complaint as directed by EIC. (ii) New components / parts will be measured and paid separately as supply only under respective items of this BOQ.

Supply only Base assembly (seperator) suitable for 25 / 50 litre capacity of geyser as per existing make, size and type with holding clamp with nut bolts, washer and rubber gasket for element and thermostate and other accessories as required at site etc complete all as specified and directed

Supply only heavy duty pin type fastener 4" long (GI nuts & bolts and washers off sizes) suitable for any capacity geyser as required at site.

Supply only Stainless steel inner tank, rated pressure not less than 7kg / sqcm etc as per existing size, shape, make suitable for 25 litre capacity geysers.

Supply only Stainless steel inner tank, rated pressure not less than 7kg / sqcm etc as per existing size, shape, make suitable for 50 litre capacity geysers.

Supply only LED indicator lamp as per existing shape and size suitable for 25 / 50 litres capacity of geyser etc complete as specified and directed

Supply only Rubber ring gasket superior / made out rubber having holes to suit the hole of base plate suitable for any capacity geysers

Supply only PVC insulated, PVC sheathed three core copper conductor, flexible round cable of size 2.5 Sqmm, length 1 metre approx suitable for geyser of any capacity

Supply only three pin plug top, polycarbonate body, ISI marked of capacity 15 / 16A, 230 volts complete.

Supply only safety valve ISI marked for any make of geyser, complete all as specified and approved by EIC.

Supply only bottom cover made out of MS sheet 20 guage as per existing size & hole incl machine screws suitable for 25 / 50 ltr geyer of any make and type.

M&L for preparation of old painted outer surface of geyser of capacity 25 Litres by scraping, cleaning, knotting and stopping including rubbing with ammery paper and applying one coat duco paint (first quality) by spray painting machine to achieve glossy finish, re write MES No. on the body of geyser with black synthetic enamel paint (letters and figures 2 cm high) complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted outer surface of geyser of capacity 50 Litres by scraping, cleaning, knotting and stopping including rubbing with ammery paper and applying one coat duco paint (first quality) by spray painting machine to achieve glossy finish, re write MES No. on the body of geyser with black synthetic enamel paint (letters and figures 2 cm high) complete all as specified & directed.

Supply and fix storage type water heater 5 star rated, 25 litres capacity, vertical wall mounting type, made out of CRCA outer body, stainless steel storage tank, titanium enamelled heating element, thermostate, thermal cutout, glass wool insulation, connected to water supply with and including one Nos 15 mm size, 450 mm long, flexible connection pipe with PTMT nut at both end, and one Nos 15 mm size, 450 mm long Fiber reinforced PVC flexible pipe (Flexi connection pipe), heavy duty with brass chromium plated nut on both end, with rubber washers, making electrical connection with and including 2.5 sqmm 3 core copper (multistranded) cable, Plug top with indicator 15 amp from geyser connnection to socket, fixed in position with 100 mm size fastners, writing the MES No, including taking old geyser and deposited in MES store yard complete as specified and directed by EIC.

Supply and fixing in repair 1100 volt grrade PVC insulated, cable, stranded aluminium conductor of size 10 Sqmm, 2 core, served with inner sheathing of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed, fixed for service connections, suspended by insulating hangers not more than 1 metre apart with and including 4 mm dia suspension galvanised steel wire complete all as specified & directed.

Taking down carefully ceiling fan of any sweep and make, for overhauling by dismantling of blade, opening and examining motor winding, cleaning of dust / dirt, greasing of ball bearing and bushes with fresh oil / grease, checking of capacitor, reassembling of fan, hanging in original location after replacemnet of rubber real, connecting and testing ceiling fan for smooth functioning complete all as specified & directed. Note:- (i) Bearing, bush, condenser, winding, connection cable if found unservicable will be replaced and measured and paid separately. (ii) Painting of fan will be measured & paid seperatly.

M&L for prepation of old painted surface of ceiling fan of any sweep with emmery paper, and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint with spray painting machine & rewriting MES No. with black paint complete.

Supply only fan condenser 2.5 / 3.15 mfd suitable for 240 volts complte as specified and directed by EIC.

Supply only ball bearing of ceiling fan of sweep 1200 / 1400 mmof exactly similar as existing in fan complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only gun metal bush of ceiling fan of sweep 1200 / 1400 mm of exactly similar as existing in fan complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only PVC insulated, PVC sheathed three core copper conductor, flexible round cable of size 1.0 Sqmm.

M & L for rewinding of ceiling fan 1200 /1400 mm sweep of any make by removing the burnt winding, cleaning slot, replacement of defective nut bolts washer etc and rewinding with using same size of super enamelled copper winding wire thermal class-E, including varnishing and reassembling and testing complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Supply only ceilling fan blade of 1200 / 1400 mm sweep as per sample complete all as specified and directed.
