Contract for providing maintenance services for various mainline facilities under Durgapur jurisdiction of Durgapur-Banka LPG Pipeline in West Bengal.

Excavation: Earth work in excavation in all kinds of soil except hard rock requiring blasting for foundation trenches, upto any depth including trimming of sides of the trenches, dressing, ramming and levelling the bottom of the trenches correct to level, grade etc. including bailing out of water, if any, filling in sides of foundation trenches, plinth etc. with the excavated earth available and/or depositing the excess earth within a lead of 75mtr, in layers not exceeding 20 cms. thick, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, dressing to level and grade; cordonning of the working area and barricading if necessary to maintain safety of working personnel, local inhabitants and adjoining road traffic wherever necessary complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and direction of Site Engineer.

Backfilling: Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth from earth obtained from above excavation, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work)

Earth filling: Supply and Filling area with good earth arranged by the contractor within a radius of 10 km in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including breaking of clods, watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, earth, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and direction of Site Engineer. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work)

Brick soling: Supplying and laying flat brick soling in foundation trench, in floors, garages, sumps, etc., with bricks of class designation 50 laid to proper slope, level and grade etc. filling of the joints with sand etc. complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and direction of Site Engineer.

PCC work: Providing and laying cement concrete, grade of mix 1:2:4 (1 cement :2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size), in foundation, floors, bed of drains, including ramming, de-watering, shuttering, shoring, strutting, curing etc. complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and direction of Site Engineer.

ROW clearing: Cleaning of jungle, bushes & wild grass, including tree cutting, uprooting of grown vegetation, trees and saplings of girth maximum up to 30 cm along pipeline ROW area including pipeline locating, supply of labours, tools and tackles, transportation of labour and tools complete in all respect as per the direction of EIC/ Site Engineer.

Hire Charges for Labour for miscellanoeous works like loading and unloading mainline equiipment like Leak clamps, weld + ends, any other station maintenance works etc.: Labour charges under this item will be made only for work carried out other than work mentioned in other SOR items of the tender and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Unit per day is shift of 08hours.

Caution Board

Cleaning the ROW boundary pillar with Wire brush, surface preparation and applying single coat of exterior primer followed by two coats of approved weather coat paint inclusive of transportation, cost of labour, paint, tools and tackles as per the direction of EIC / Site Engg.

Arranging Government approved surveyor with required assistance for boundary survey of Right of Way at plot(s) for demarcation of land within ROW of IOCL as per the details provided from IOCL, mouza maps if required is to be collected from respective BL & LRO office, including pipeline location identification with IOCL provided Line Locator and GPS etc. Detailed to the scale field map to be prepared and signed by the govt. approved surveyor including all tools, tackles, labour required & as per the direction and instruction of EIC/ Site Engg.

Painting of piping (above ground portion): Cleaning with Wire brush, surface preparation and applying single coat of red oxide primer followed by two coats of approved enamel paint for valve fencing as per requirement, reconditioning of "prohibited area board" involving its cleaning, painting and letter writing. Item includes cost of transportation, cost of labour, paint, tools and tackles complete in all respect as per the direction of EIC/ Site Engg.

Drum Sheet Walling 1.40m (av.) high on Eucalyptus bullah piling 15 cm dia. and 3.25m long driven 1.75m (av.) below G.L. and 75cm centre to centre including fitting & fixing of half bullah piece (1 for each 3 bullahs) (from 10 cm dia) and drum(empty bitumen) sheet (approved condition) of height 1.5m , cutting and straightening drum sheet (each joint must have lap length of min.50mm) including cost of necessary nails,bolts, nuts etc. and providing 2 to 3m long half bullah ties of 10cm dia. @ 2.25 m centre to centre fixed with 10 cm dia. bullah posts driven 1.5m below G.L.including cost of all materials and one coat of coal tarring to all bullah etc. complete as per direction.

Labour for driving 3.25mtr, 15cm dia Eucalyptus-bullah piles by monkey 1.75 mtr into ground in sorts of soil including hoisting and placing piles in position, protecting the pile head with iron ring and cutting and shaping heads before and after driving and including hire and labour for necessary driving appliances and all tackles. When work under considerable( i.e.above1m ) standing water is not involved.)

Supplying 15cm dia Eucalyptus-bullah piles at work site including dressing and making one end pointed.

Applying a single coat of Coal tar on wooden surfaces including cost of materials.

Supplying empty cement bags in good condition.

Supply of fine dry sand to site including cost of loading, transportaion, unloading and stacking etc..

Filling empty Cement bags with dry earth, stitching the bag (cost of thread included) and carrying and placing them in position and all incidental charges complete but excluding cost of sand and gunny bags.

Coating and wrapping of pipe including surface preparation by Cu slag blasting, application of primer, inner and outer wrap (cold tape), etc complete in all respects with all tools, tackles, labour, etc as per the direction of site engineer/ engineer-in-charge (C&W material to be supplied by owner)

Providing dewatering pump to site at least for 5 days for each dig-site including accessories (suction/ delivery hose, foot valve, hose clamps, lube oil, etc) fuel, maintenace costs, mapower and materials for operating the same, etc complete in all respects as per the direction of Site Engineer/ Engineer-In-Charge

Providing & supplying watchman at site for security of pipeline as well as equipment at odd hours as per the direction of SiteEngineer/Engineer-In-Charge.

Preparation of half cut sleeves by taking 12"/10" MS pipes from owner's store (12"/10")pipe will be supplied by the Owner). The pipe is to be cut into halves of required length (0.5m to 2.0m) and its internal surface shall be matched with carrier pipe's OD mechanically, transporting the prepared sleeves to site including loading and unloading. Welding of half cut sleeves: Mounting half cut sleeves on pipe over pitted sections and fitting of clamps on the sleeves to achieve desired fitment for welding. Welding of sleeves in both longitudinal and circuferential ends with electrodes of make- Bohler or Esab or Lincoln or approved equivalent make of specific grade as per technical specifications of tender, inspection of the weld after root pass by Dye penetrant test (Consumables for DP test shall be supllied by contractor) etc. required to complete the work in all respect as decided and directed by the owner complete in all respect. Item cost includes providing and supply all required manpower, generator, grinding & welding machine, other required machinery, consumables etc. as per direction of EIC/ Site Engineer. This item will be operated as per the need. Payment shall be made as per length of welding.

Welding and Fitting of Leak clamp / weld plus end : Fitting and Welding of leak clamp / weld plus end of length maximum upto 1000 mm, over mainline pipe with all tools tackles, welding machine and qualified welder under the direction and supervision of site engineer. Welding charges include fuel charges for the DG Machine, charges of the welder and helpers, cost of EIC's apporved welding rods etc. complete in all respect. Welding of leak clamp includes welding circumferentialy and longitudinaly including welding of fasteners (nuts &bolts), Testing of welding integrity with Dye Penetration (DP) test (Consumables for DP test shall be supllied by contractor) complete in all respect as per direction of EIC/ Site Engineer/Site Representative.

Removal of Pilferers appurtenances over mainline pipe, work includes removal of all fitted or welded fittings over mainline pipe by filing / Cutting by machine and smoothening of pipe surface for proper fitment of leak clamp including arrangement for temporary arrest of leakage from pilferage point to enable positioning of leak clamp. Cost includes charges of the DG machine cutter/ grinder complete in all respect as per direction of EIC /Site Engineer complete in all respect.

Flood coating by R-95 Powercrete Liquid epoxy paint (Consisting Part A & Part B mixed in ratio as per manufacture recommendation over mainline pipe/ leak clamp/ sleeve etc. including surface preparation as per tender specification & application of liquid epoxy paint (Powercrete R-95) over finished surface. The cost includes supply of R-95 powercrete epoxy paint, consumables, labour etc. The thickness of flood coating shall be 900-1000 micron.

Providing semi-skilled contractor's workers for round the clock manning at SV locations of PHDPL. The minimum qualification of these personnels’ shall be ITI, in any trade, preferably in Mechanical/Electrical. For details of SV locations & T points, please refer clause no. 3.4.8 of SCC-Technical. Payment for this item will be done proportionately as per the actual item execution. Unit of measurement "EA/Month-location" for this item shall be read as "round the clock manning of each location per month.
