86232 SPECIAL REPAIRS TO ROAD OF DIFFERENT PART OF AIPT AND APTC DEPOT CAMPUS UNDER GE (CENTRAL) PUNE.

IMPORTANT NOTES : (i) Contractor are requested to note that IRI Value test (Road Roughness) as mentioned in Schedule 'A' Notes on Ser. Page No. 19 of Tender documents against Phase-I will be carried out before execution and after completion of BM / DAC / SDAC. (ii) The quoted rates for the IRI value test is deemed to be included against the relevant BOQ items for BM / DAC / SDAC. (iii) No extra cost / amount will be admissible on this account.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 30 mm in depth, making good by applying bitumen tack coat of grade VG-10 @ 5 kg per 10 sqm, and providing SDAC with 4% binder content of bitumen (VG-30) and well rammed complete all as specified and directed

Preparing surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (Grade VG-10) @ 2.5 kg per 10 sq metre on black top surface and providing premixed bituminous semi-dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm (consolidated) thickness with 5% binder content of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix laid with mechanical paver rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 ton power roller complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preperation of new/old road surface and applying thermoplastic reflective paint for making 2.5mm thick as in center line and edge line, zebra crossing,stop lines, dashes,arrow etc road marking of 150/100mm width using 'Hot Application' white or golden yellow by indigenous modern propelled road marking machine as directed including all ingedients such as binder, glassbeads. Pigments such as Titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate inter filler, thermoplastic requirement for glass beads shall confirm to MORTH specification (BS-3262-1989) including spraying of glass beads etc all as per manufacturer's specification all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions including taking out old unserviceable cat eye of any description complete all as specified and directed.
