CLEANING AND REPAIR TO RUNWAY DRAINAGE AROUND RUNWAY COMPLEX AT AFS THANJAVUR

Carefully lifting/taking out the suspended RCC drain cover slab laid over drain of any size upto 1.5 Sqm in plan area without damaging and placing in the orginal position after completion of repair / de-siltting work complete all as specified and as directed at site. Note:- The work area is inside Airfield where the flying operations frequently held. Hence, repair works is to be done as and when site is available with prior permission from air force authority. Proper placing of the RCC cover slabs shall be done at end of the working day. RCC cover slabs must not left and uncovered near the drainage and shall be removed under the supervision/instructions of site executives only. Relaying cover slabs can be done asper the demand/need of the user unit depending upon the flying operations.

Excavating deposited soil / silt / mud etc from the existing storm water drainage system and cleaning the bottom surfaces for smooth flow of water and removal of the same to a distance exceeding 50m but n exc 250m complete all as specified and as directed

Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' old size bricks built in CM 1:4 straight or curved on plan n,exc 6 m mean radius complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Plain cement concrete type B1 1:2:4 (20 mm graded stone agg,) as in coping, benching of manholes including after removal of RCC cover slab and relaying the same after coping including necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed

Taking down cement plaster of any description incl raking out joint hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces and rendering is to be finished fair and even complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete unreinforced of any description and in any position not otherwise provoided for base of drain complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per srl item No 08 here-in-before but reinforced cement concrete provided for drain cover slab complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for PCC 1:2:4, type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in drain 40mm thick without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 as in foundation and mass concrete type B1 using 40mm stone aggregate complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for pre cast design mix M-25 concrete (20mm graded aggregates) as in cover slab of drains including form work complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for Mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.

Description all as per srl item No 13 here-in-before but 6mm to 8mm dia TMT bar complete all as specified and as directed.
