Brick work with non modular fly ash bricks conforming to IS:12894,class designation 10 average compressive strength in super structure above plinth level up to floor V level in : Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand)

New Main Door - Steel Doors : Providing and fixing of Hollow metal door at all levels from ISO 9001-2000 certified Manufacturer. The metal doors should be made from high grade galvanised steel stretched level sheet flush, with vision panel, louvers etc. Single /Double leaf to required sizes and approved make shakti met-dor or equivalent which consists of frame, shutter, infill and finish as detailed below and conforming to IS 277. Door frame shall be single rebate profile of size 100 x 57 mm made out of 1.20mm thick galvanized steel sheet (18 gauge ). Frames should be MITERED and field assembled with self tabs. Door frames should be prepared for suitable hardware as scheduled and should have necessary reinforcement to withstand regular wear and tear. All provision should be mortised, drilled and tapped for receiving the hardware. Rubber door silencers should be provided on the striking jamb. All door frames should be provided with SOFIT bracket and anchor fasteners for installation on a finished plastered masonry wall opening. Once the frame is installed it should be grouted with cement & sand slurry. Door leaf should be 46mm thick fully flush double skin door with or without vision lite. Door leaf shall be manufactured from 0.8mm (22 guage) thick galvanised steel sheet. The internal construction of the door should be rigid with steel stiffeners/ pads for receiving appropriate hardware. The infill material shall be resin bonded honeycomb core. All doors should be factory prepped for receiving appropriate hardware and provided with necessary reinforcement for hinges, locks, and door closers.

The edges should be interlocked with a bending radius of 1.4mm. For pair of doors astragals has to be provided on the meeting stile for both active and inactive leaf. Vision lite wherever applicable with a clip on arrangement. The glass should be 12mm clear toughened glass All doors and frames shall be finished with etched primer coating (35 microns), stove zinc phosphate primer and thermosetting polyurethane aliphatic grade paint (35 micron DFT) of approved colour. Steel surface should be blast cleaned to near to clean surface. Once the surface is cleaned the doors should be checked for finish before it is taken for painting.Rate should include for supply and installation of door and hardware set as mentioned in the door and hardware schedule.

Providing and applying Gyproc Supreme 80 readymade lightweight plaster on ceiling upto thickness of 12mm to 15mm in proper line and level with smooth finishin applied on ceiling. Quoted rate shall be including cost of application , sanding and preparing surface smooth for painting application. Quoted rate shall be including cost of material , labour , GST etc complete. Nothing extras shall be paid seperatly.

Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free,straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Glazing, paneling and dash fasteners to be paid for separately) : For Sliding or fixed portion as per approved drawings Anodised aluminium (anodised transparent or dyed to required shade according to IS: 1868, Minimum anodic coating of grade AC 15)

Providing, assembling and supplying vision glass panels (IGUs) comprising of hermetically-sealed 6-12- 6 mm insulated glass (double glazed) vision panel units of size and shape as required and specified, comprising of an outer heat strengthened float glass 6mm thick, of approved colour and shade with reflective soft coating on surface # 2 of approved colour and shade, an inner Heat strengthned clear float glass 6mm thick, spacer tube 12mm wide, dessicants, including primary seal and secondary seal (structural silicone sealant) etc. all complete for the required performances, as per the Architectural drawings, as per the approved shop drawings, as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The IGUs shall be assembled in the factory/ workshop of the glass processor. (Payment for fixing of IGU Panels to be included in the same item rate , cost towards aluminium shall be paid in respective item ) For payment, only the actual area of glass on face # 1 of the glass panels (excluding the areas of the grooves and weather silicone sealant) provided and fixed in position, shall be measured in sqm. Coloured tinted float glass 6mm thick substrate with reflective soft coating on face # 2, + 12mm Airgap + 6mm Heat Strengthened clear Glass of approved make having properties as visible Light transmittance (VLT) of 25 to 35 %, Light reflection internal 10 to 15%, light reflection external 10 to 20 %, shading coefficient (0.25- 0.28) and U value of 3.0 to 3.3 W/m2 degree K etc. The properties of performance glass shall be decided by technical anctioning authority as per the site requirement.

Extra for openable side / top hung vision glass panels (IGUs) including providing and supplying at site all accessories and hardwares for the openable panels as specified and of the approved make such as heavy duty stainless steel friction hinges, min 4 -point cremone locking sets with stainless steel plates, handles, buffers etc. including necessary stainless steel screws/ fasteners, nuts, bolts, washers etc. all complete as per the Architectural drawings, as per the approved shop drawings, as specified and as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.

Repairs in vitrified flooring tiles by removing existing brocken chipped tiles and Providing and laying vitrified floor tiles in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS: 15622, of approved make, in all colours and shades, laid on 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg/sqm including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete. Size of Tile 600x600 mm or As per site. Quoted rate shall be including removing of existing unservisable/cracked tiles , disposing of debries at approved dumping ground within campus , providing and fixing new tiles , including grouting with matching pigments as per instruction of Engineer In-charge , etc complete. Quoted rate shall be including GST , trasportation , lead , lift ,wastage, scaffolding etc complete. Nothing extra shall be paid seperatly. Actual area of new tiles laid at site shall be measured for payments.

Design, manufacturing, assembling, transporting and placing in position knock down modular custom made furniture such as table, pedestal units, wall hung storage, classrooms desks, student hostel furniture, etc. as per architectural drawings/layouts, technical specifications and directions of Engineer-in- charge. In general all outer exposed edges of all panels shall be covered sealed with 2m thick PVC edge banding tape, Rehau Dollkin or equivalent make and post formed edge in front exposed side and all concealed and butt of all panels shall be covered and sealed with 0.7mm edge banding tape of same make with hot melt glue banding machine at required temperature for table tops. All joinery fabrication work shall be done with minifix fittings (Hettich, Aries, Efficient cadget Ltd. or equivalent), plastic/Stainless steel dowels, Stainless steel screws washers in approved factory supplying minifix fittings, closing loaded hinges multipurpose lock, Stainless steel handles of approved design etc. All under bench supporting structure shall be consisting of M S tubes round/square as per co standard design with zinc phosphated/degreased and epoxy powder coated 50 to 60 microns DFT, nuts and bolts, rivets, pins complete as per approved drawings and direction of the Engineer in charge and shall be paid under sub items described in bill of quantities below.

Providing, fixing and supply of under bench supporting structure shall be consisting of CRC / M S tubes round/square as per co standard design with zinc phosphated/degreased and epoxy powder coated 50 to 60 microns DFT, nuts and bolts, rivets, pins complete as per approved drawings and direction of the Engineer in charg. Actual weight of finished steel members provided at site including nuts and bolts etc shall be measured for payment.

TABLE TOPS FOR OFFICE Providing, fixing table tops with 25mm thick plain plywood board of approved make with 0.6 to 0.8 mm thick flex post form laminate ( Marino or equivalent) with post formed edge in two exposed sides and other two sides shall be sealed with 2mm thick PVC edge banding (Rehau or equivalent) of required shade and balancing laminate of required thickness at bottom surface complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer in charge. Actual area of the finished top shall be measured for payment.

Providing and fixing 3 drawer Pedestal unit size: 390mm (W) x 440mm(D) x 646mm (H) mdae up from CRCA powder coated body 1mm thick coil and 12mm prelaminated MDF board front fesia for drawers including recessed handles, sliders and centralized locking system decorative leg shoe / revolving type 360 degree castors. All exposed side edges shall be sealed with 2mm thick PVC edge banding (Rehau or equivalent) machine pressed etc complete as per the direction of Engineer in charge. LEG SHOE & LEVELLERS Providing, fixing and supply of leg shoe made nylon 6 to mount levelers as per standard design on the legs of furniture with + 50 mm height adjustment. Levelers are made of Nylon 6 with M8 bolts insert molded to take care of floor undulation.

CABLE MANAGER Providing, fixing and supply of wire cable manager in work of 62 mm dia with PVC cover of approved make complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes, having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply, including all CPVC plain & brass threaded fittings, including fixing the pipe with GI clamps at 1.00 m spacing for good support to pipe . This includes jointing of pipes & fittings with one step CPVC solvent cement and testing of joints complete as per direction of Engineer in Charge. External work - Exposed on wall. Quoted rate shall be including material , labour , transportation , lead , lift , MTA , FTA , Tee , solvent cement , make holes in wall and making it good , GST etc complete. Providing and fixing 18 mm thick gang saw cut, mirror polished, premoulded and prepolished, machine cut for kitchen platforms, vanity counters, window sills, facias and similar locations of required size, approved shade, colour and texture laid over 20 mm thick base cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), joints treated with white cement, mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, including rubbing, curing, moulding and polishing to edges to give high gloss finish etc. complete at all levels Granite stone slab all colour and texture except black, Cherry/Ruby red Area of slab upto 0.50 sqm

Deplyment of manpower for removal of debries , cleaning , removal of soot , cleaning of walls, glass , flooring , removal of unservisable material , lead lift of debries to ground floor , removal of false ceiling or cleaning of terrace , removal of material or any work assigned by Engineer In-charge of manning nature. Quoted rate shall be including cost of labour , material , GST etc complete. All statutory regulations and provisions of labouar laws shall be followed by bidder with no extra cost .Nothing extra shall be paid seperatly. Payment shall be made as per log sheet approved by Engineer In-charge.

Hiring of JCB for Surface dressing of the ground including removing vegetation and inequalities and disposal of rubbish, clearing of land including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, and removal of rubbish up digging, loosening and removing the deposited earth , filing of earth , making of pits , stacking the removed materials near the accessible area as per directions at site of work. Quoted rate shall be including the equipment’s hire charges, labour, transport, fuel , tools tackles, operators charges etc , insurance of equipment and operator, etc. complete. JCB should be with dozer and loader bucket of 1 cum capacity. Copy of valid license of dumper driver and Registration Certificate ( RC ) copy shall be submitted to IISER Pune for records. JCB shall be less than five year old .Work shall be within IISER Pune campus as per instruction of Engineer In-charge , etc., complete. Nothing extra shall be paid separately. Actual deployment days of 8 ( eight ) working hour per day at IISER Pune Campus shall be measured for payments. Agency shall maintain log-sheet of deplyment and get daily certified from department on same day and shall be submitted along with running account bill for payments. Quoted rate shall be including cost of labour , tools , GST ,taxes , minimum labour wages , etc complete. Nothing extra shall be payable seperatly.

Hiring of Dumper for shifting of material for backfilling , dumping etc. for activities associated with surface dressing of the ground including removing vegetation and inequalities and disposal of rubbish, Clearing of land including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, and removal of rubbish up digging, loosening and removing the deposited earth , filing of earth , making of pits , stacking the removed materials near the accessible area as per directions at site of work. Dumper driver shall work in coordination with JCB operator . Dumper shall have minimum 12 Cum box body carrier with hydraulic automatic lifting mechanism for dumping. Quoted rate shall be including the equipment’s hire charges, labour, transport, fuel , tools tackles, operators charges etc , insurance of equipment and operator, etc. complete. Copy of valid license of dumper driver and RC copy shall be submitted to IISER Pune for records. Dumper shall be less than five year old . Work shall be within IISER Pune campus as per instruction of Engineer In-charge ,etc., complete. Nothing extra shall be paid separately. Actual deployment days of 8 ( eight ) working hour per day shall be measured for payments. Mechanical/Manual cleaning of soot affected area with mechanical means by using water pressure jet , cleaning tools , mechanical suction machine with collection facility etc complete to ensure clean slab /wall bottom and make it ready to for painting. Soot cleaning to be done for slab bases , walls , airconditioner ducting , pipes , cable trays etc. Quoted rate including disposal of collected soot at appropriate plate within campus , one coat white wash painting after cleaning of soot, disposal of debries within on approved dumping ground in campus as per instrution of Enginer In-charge. Nothing extra shall be paid seperatly. Actual area cleaned shall be measured for payments.

Supply and installation of Self adhesive aluminium foil bitumen waterproof membrane of 1.5mm thick multilayer bitumen membrane waterproofing over pre-coated sheet at IISER Pune. Bitumen membrane shall have first layer of high resign adhesive designed for pre-coated sheet roofing , second layer of asphalt and third layer of aluminum foil. Sheet shall have roll form , with one side protected with polyethane cover for adhesion. Provision of active joint of 50mm with adhesive shall be built in to the sheet throughout the length. Work shall be executed as per below listed method and OEM’s standard installation instructions, 1. Cleaning of Pre-coated sheet to make it free from dirt and dust. 2. Bitumen sheet roll of appropriate side and paste on the pre-coated sheet as per profile of sheets. 3. First round : Application of sheet on roofing sheet ensuring appropriate overlap of minimum 100mm at horizontal and vertical joints.4. Pressing of sheet by rubberized roller or rammer properly on the roofing sheet such that bitumen membrane shall follow sheet profile.5. Final pressing of sheet, rounding of corners. 6. Second Round : Shall be within a week after application of rolling sheet on sunny day to ensure perfect adhesion of sheet with roofing.7. Special care shall be taken at rounded area’s , at bases wind fans etc. Quoted rate shall be including cost of lead , lift , transportation , working at ladder connected heights , GST , transportation , taxes , duties , wastage etc complete. Nothing extra shall be paid separately. Actual surface area waterproofing done at site shall be measured for payments. In case of profile roofing sheets actual area of application including slanting sides of pitches shall be measured for payments. Repairing and mechanical buffing of exising SS staircase railing with providing mirror polish finish and wrapping buffed surface with removable trasperent protective sheet cover strip. Length of railing buffed including members and baluster in measured length shall be paid. New SS 304 material used for repairing of railing shall be paid in the respective item. Nothing extra shall be paid seperatly.

Providing and fixing stainless steel ( Grade 304) railing made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, i/c fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners , stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-incharge, (for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered including fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.).
