PART-II B/R PORTION (REPAIRS TO ROAD) Repair to pot holes any depth n.exc 1.00 sqm each incl sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surface in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to at least 30mm in depth & making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering & well ramming including supply of road metal and applying tack coat at 5 kg per 10 sqm & M&L for premixed bituminous carpet 30mm thick (consolidated ) with 0.34cum of stone chipping mixed with 18.25 kg of binder and rolled & compacted to required camber and gradient & depth of pot holes exc 30mm.

Applying tack coat of hot paving bitumen of grade VG-10 conforming IS:W-73:2006 of 05Kg/10Sqm as directed.

M& L for premix bituminious macadum with using 4% binder content by weight of total mix with paving bitumen grade 60/70 rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge (Consolidated thickness 75mm or less).

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces of bituminous by wire brushing for removing caked, mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags or with compressed compressor air blower to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a tack coat of VG-10 conforming IS:W-73:2006 paving bitumen @ 5 kg per 10 sqm using mechanical sprayer, operated by hot pressure mechanism and M&L 30mm thick (compacted) bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete using 5.5% binder contant by weight of total mix using VG-30 grade paving bitumen, spread with self propelling mechanical paver and rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with using 8 to 12 tonne power road roller complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on existing Road side kerb stone surfaces including preparation of existing surfaces all as specified & as directed.

M&L for marking 2.50 mm thick centre line, stop line, dashes, arrows, brackets & similar work on road surfaces as per IRC pattern with thermo plastic paint of approved quality & make with 8% glass beads laid at temperature 1600 C with a special applicator machine complete all as per manufacturer’s instructions & traffic diversion arrangement.
