Annual Contract for providing Cleaning Services at AMD Office, Nongmensong, Shillong. (the scope of work is given in detail as per Annexure-I & II in the tender document)
Note-1: General Scope of work 1. Frequency of brooming & moping of office building once in a day & 5 days in a week (area 1200 Sq.m appx.) 2. Frequency of cleaning toilets (9 Nos.) once in a day & 5 days in a week (area included along with 1200 Sq.m) 3. Frequency of cobweb cleaning both internally & externally wherever found on walls / ceilings at once in a week. 4. Frequency of cleaning terrace (area 730 Sq.m appx), chajjas of office (area 1400 Sq.m appx), stores, security buildings(area 25 Sq.m appx) and all auxiliary buildings including car/scooter sheds , roof of parking sheds (area 240 Sq.m appx), roof of store sheds (area 1100 Sq.m appx) etc. , at once in a week. 5. Frequency of brooming & cleaning of roads and drainage (400m long internal roads appx) at residential Complex once in a day & 5 days in a week 6. Any other miscellaneous works as directed by the department from time to time as per requirement 7. All materials required for the above work like liquid soap, phenyle, Napthalene balls, broom stick etc. shall be supplied by the department at free of cost and no deduction shall be made from the bills of the contractors towards the cost of these items
2. General Notes: 1)The contractor shall comply with the provision of the payment of Wages Act. 1936, Minimum wages Act. 1948, Employment Liability Act. 1936, Workmen’s Compensation Act. 1923, Industrial Disputes Act. 1947, Maternity Benefits Act. 1961, and the Contract Labour (R &A) Act. 1970 and amendments thereof and other laws relating thereto and the rules made there under from time to time. 2) Rates quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes including GST. 3) Rates quoted shall be excluding the amount of EPFO & ESIC Contribution. Actual Expenditure made by the contractor towards EPFO & ESIC Contribution shall be reimbursed by the department separately on production of valid proof of payment made by the Contractor in respect of these items. 4) Contractors should read the scope of work properly which are given at Annexure-I & II before quoting their rates. 5) For their own interest, Contractors are advised to inspect the site with prior permission before quoting their rates. 6. Minimum Unskilled workers to be engaged are Men:3 (Three). If the deployed number of labours is less than requirement on any day, deduction of wages as per latest wages mentioned by the Ministry of Labour, Govt. of India for the reduced labours shall be made from the bill of the contractor.. 7.Water and electricity shall be supplied by Department at free of cost. 8. If performance of the contractor is found unsatisfactory , the department reserves the right to terminate his Contract at anytime during the contract period. 9. The Agreement shall be for a period of 1 (one)year from date of issue of work order, however,which can be renewed, if the department desires so on mutual agreement, for a further period of 1 year on the same terms and conditions, subject to satisfactory performance during the contractual period. 10. The workers should have experience in cosmetic maintenance to perform their duties satisfactorily. They should be skilled, trained, strong, healthy and medically fit, alert, polite, courteous and able to perform their duties diligently. The said workers should be properly dressed and disciplined. Any discourteous behaviour on their part may lead to termination of the contract
