General Notes:- 1. Tenderers are advised to visit the site of work with prior permission of Engineer- in- Charge/ authorised representative to acquaint themselves with the nature and location of work before quoting tender. 2. Since the work is to be carried out in lab./industrial buildings which are occupied by officials of Department, the work has to be carried out with least disturbance to the occupants. 3. During execution of work all labourers, supervisors & engineers of contractors shall use personal protective equipments. Work execution without PPE's shall not be permited.BARC construction safety manual shall be followed during execution of works. 4. Any work activity shall be started at site with prior work permit issued by departmental safety officer/Engineer/Supervisor. 5. No debris shall be left over during the repair works under each item on any day. An area for 'Debris bins' will be identified on the request of contractor for collection of debris generated on day to day basis.
Dismantling Aluminium / Gypsum partitions, wooden partitions, doors, windows, fixed glazing and false ceiling including disposal of unserviceable surplus material and stacking of serviceable materials within 100 m lead as directed by the Engineer-in-charge
Dismantling brick work in Cement mortar carefully without damaging adjacent structures including stacking of materials and dispoal of unserviceable materials within 100 m lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Dismantling old plaster / skirting carefully , raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 100 m lead
Dismantling tile work in floors and roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material within 100 m lead For thickness of tiles above 25 mm and up to 40 mm
Providing and fixing 12 mm thick calcium Silicate board fixed in Aluminium Doors, windows, shutters and partition frames with C.P Brass / Stainless steel screws etc. complete as per architectural drawings and directions of Engineer-in-charge with decorative lamination of 1 mm thick of approved colour & shade on both sides.
Providing and fixing decorative high pressure 1.0 mm thick laminated sheet of plain / wood grain in gloss / matt/ suede finish with high density protective surface layer and reverse side of adhesive bonding quality conforming to IS:2046 Type S including cost of adhesive, labour etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and fixing PVC integral Foam of white / off white colour of 8mm thick in panelling, masking, fixed in aluminium doors, windows, shutters and partition frames with stainless steel screws etc. complete as per drawings and as directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Note- Aluminium framework shall be paid under the relevent item of this schedule)
Providing and fixing PVC integral free Foam colour sheet of 3mm thick around AC Cladding over Aluminium sections with stainless steel screws etc. complete as per drawings and as directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Note- Aluminium framework shall be paid under the relevent item of this schedule)
Providing Structural steel work using angles, channels, joists and other sections, welded and / or bolted in built up sections for trusses , structural steel floors, frame works, monorails and other structures including supplying, cutting, welding, fabricating, hoisting, fixing in position, applying a priming coat of approved steel primer etc. complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge
Up to and including 300 mm Joists, 350 mm channels, and below sections using materials of approved manufacturers confirming to IS:2062. All test reports to be provided along with the supply of the materials. 'Important Note: '1. Structural steel confirming to IS 2062 shall be supplied. '2.The contractor shall supply documentary evidence of purchase of steel, Test certificate from approved manufacturers and also third party testing from approved laboratories with out any extra cost. '3.Welding weights, connections, bolts and nuts shall not be measured for payment but the cost of which shall be deemed to have been included in the rates. '4.Welding Electrodes manufactured by M/s. Advani Oerlicon / ESAB India & D& H of specified suitable grade only shall be used. '5. Holes to be drilled only by Drilling machines and gas cutting of holes are not permitted. '6. Rate inclusive of all consumables like GAS, welding electrodes and tools and tackles etc.
Providing and constructing Brickwork in cement mortar 1:4 using crushed sand with Flyash/ Flyash Lime bricks with minimum 70 kg/ sq.cm strength of approved make and size in super structure up to and including Floor II Level including, scaffolding, raking out joints, curing, cleaning complete all as per specifications and drawings.
Providing and constructing Brickwork in cement mortar 1:4 using crushed sand with Flyash/ Flyash Lime bricks with minimum 70 kg/ sq.cm strength of approved make and size in super structure above Floor-II level and including 20 m height including, scaffolding, raking out joints, curing, cleaning complete all as per specifications and drawings.
Providing and Fixing Homogeneous 2.00 mm thick PVC tile in flooring wooden veeneer finish and skirting in approved pattern on a smooth and damp proof base using rubber based adhesive of approved quality and manufacturer like Dunlop-S -758, Fevicol SR 998 , PolygripSP or equivalent including, levelling small undulations with plasterof paris if required , rolling with light wooden roller weighing about 5 kg all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge in approved colour and shade.
Providing 15 mm thick plastering using Ready mix internal plastering compound of approved make for internal faces of brickwork / concrete surfaces including preparation of the surface, curing, cleaning, scaffolding complete all as per specifications and as directed at site by the Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and fixing 15-17 mm thick gang saw cut mirror polished (premoulded and prepolished) machine cut Granite of Telephone Black colour for kitchen platforms, vanitiy counters, Wash basin Counters, Door Frames, window sills, facias and similar locations of required size, colour and texture laid over 20 mm thick base cement mortar 1:4 (using crushed sand) with joints treated with white cement, mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, including rubbing, curing, moulding and polishing the edges to give high gloss finish etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge at all levels.
Providing and fixing anodized aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections / Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS 733 and IS 1285 fixed with rawl plugs and screws or with fixing clips or with expansion hold fastners including necessary filling up of gaps at junctions, at top, bottom and sides with required PVC / neoprene gasket,GI tie rod etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically whereever required including cleat angle, aluminium snap beading for glazing / panelling, C.P brass / stainless screws all complete as per drawings and and directions of Engineer-in-charge including providing and fixing hinges / pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of PVC / neoprene gasket required filling the gaps using silicon grout sealent etc. (fittings glazing and panelling shall be paid for separately) 'NOTE : 1) The rates for aluminium is inclusive of all fastners required for fabrication and fixing in the walls. 2) All joints shall be of mittered Joints 3) A long M.S rod threaded at both ends to be provided in all aluminium door shutters in Top & bottom Horizontal members internally connecting Vertical members and fixed with M.S washers & nuts. 4) Only Aluminium members alone shall be measured and paid for.

Supply of manpower for carrying out shifting and re-arragement works of furnitures, equipmets, instruments etc. with necessary safety precautions and also seasonable departmental work alloted by the Engineer -in -charge . Note :- Personal protective equipmets for labours shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost.By using Un-Skilled Manpower. 'Deployment: The contractor shall deploy un-skilled worker for each job for 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period.
Providing and fixing cement bonded particle board of M/s Bison or approved equivalent with washer, flange type screws etc. to claddings /flooring over existing frame work and as per manufacturers specification and directed of Engineer-in-charge.(Note :- Aluminium required for framework & joint covering will be measured and paid under relavant Item of this schedule). Actual covered area of the cement bonded particle board will be measured and paid.

Providing and applying one coat of cement primer of approved brand on wall surface to receive specified paint including scaffolding complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in -charge.
Providing and applying white cement based wall putty of approved make over concrete or Plastered surface up to 3 mm thick to get uniform surface free from undulation including cleaning complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge
Providing and painting, finishing with antifungal paint using paint approved by department with two coats over treated surface all as per manufacturer's specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in -charge
