CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF SEWAGE LINES, MANHOLES, SEPTIC TANKS AND SOAKAGE WELLS IN ZONE A AT DAMANA UNDER GE JAMMU

Cleaning and clearing the blockage of sewage lines of any dia, type and any depth, removing any type of blockage by roding from manholes or by flushing water with pressure pump complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out of solid / semi solid sludge from existing manholes of any size and any depth and burying the entire sludge / sludge water into excavated pit of adequate size including excavation and covering with earth or disposing off into covered vehicles outside the peripherry of defence land to a distance exceeding 1 Km including taking off RCC / iron manhole covers and refixing the same after cleaning complete all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning of blockage of EWC / IWC / Urinal / Bathroom / Kitchen and gully trap and removing of sludge / soil / waste to a distance exceeding 100 metre and testing of WC Block for proper working after cleaning complete all as specified and as directed.

Notes: - For Ser Item No 1.00 to 3.00: - (i) For the purpose of payment, cleaning of sewage lines and upto including 1st manhole shall be measured as one job. (ii) The contractor will employ two safaiwalas alongwith necessary T&P on all working days for the period of contract for attending the sewage related complaints for buildings where machine cannot be reached. The complaints will be collected by the contractor or his accredited representative on all working days from B/R complaint cell. Complaints will be got signed by the authorised users representatives and will be returned to B/R complaint cell after completion of the complaint. No complaint shall be kept pending or unattended for more than 24 hours. In case the persons are not provided, Rs. 400 per day per person will be recovered. The attendance of the sweepers will be marked at 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Removing the manhole cover (CI or RCC), any type of manhole rectangular / circular and de-watering of septic tanks and soakage wells of any size and depth by means of hydraulic jet pressure machine by plugging inlets as required, making it fully functional to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including carrying the effluent outside the defence land in closed containers and re-instating the manhole cover to its original position complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: - The quoted rates includes for keeping the particular septic tank and soakage well undertaken once for de sludging / de-watering functional for full contract period.

Notes: - For Ser Item No 1.00, 2.00, 4.00, 5.00 and 6.00: - (i) The sewage line is required to be cleaned by using water jetting machine as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The unit rate quoted by the contractor shall deem to be included of this provision and no extra claim on this account shall be entertained by the department. Jetting machine will be compulsory minimum three times a week otherwise one day recovery of Rs. 10,000/- will be deducted from the payment due to the Contractor. (ii) Contractor during the mechanized operation shall be equipped with gas monitor, nylon rope ladder, torch light and compressor blower etc along with the sewage cleaning truck mounted suction / jetting machine. (iii) Manual cleaning operation / Scavenging is prohibited. (iv) The unit rate quoted by the contractor shall interalia deemed into the cost of providing skilled driver and operator and supervising engineer including provn of water for jetting and removal of sludge / silt / liquid / mud and sand (in foul position) etc complete all as specified. (v) Contractor shall engage the above mentioned T&P and intimate to Engr-in-Charge in writing with machine No / Vehicle No etc for their record and prior approval. (vi) The T&P as and when brought by the contractor based on site requirement, the concerned site executive shall take a photograph of machine along with the supervising staff i.e. JE's and contractor's representatives etc and same shall be kept in record with date. (vii) Pucca bound register shall be maintained showing the machine no / vehicle no and their deployment at site mentioning time and date duly signed by concerned JE, Engr-in-Charge and contractor and the same register shall be produced while claiming the payment by the contractor.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth, for foundation etc and not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition by breaking up drain pipes (salt glazed stone ware or AC or reinforced cement concrete) 150mm dia jointed in cement mortar and taking out of trenches and removing the debris including concrete bed and haunching from trenches complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for concrete bed to drain pipes of bore 150mm dia including packing under haunching against the sides of pipe after they are laid tested in cement concrete (1:4:8) type C-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for concrete bed to drain pipes of bore 200mm dia including packing under haunching against the sides of pipe after they are laid tested in cement concrete (1:4:8) type C-2 (using 40mm graded cruhesd stone aggregates) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 150mm internal dia salt glazed stone ware drain pipe Class 'A' laid in trenches on concrete bedding jointed in cement mortar 1:1 complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar including all quoins, pillars, arches etc including PCC benching / coping etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for brick work with sub class 'B' bricks straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

Description same as per Ser item No 18.00 here-in-before but except bricks complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in benching, coping etc including necessary form work all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement including mixing of integral water proofing compound in the proportion as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position (Reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) complete all as specified and as directed.

Separating, scrapping and cleaning of reinforcement from RCC obtained in item No 20.00 here-in-before complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for mild steel TMT 10mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape, required including cranking, bending, spirally for hopping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of surface, the surface must be sound and free from dirt, dust and loose particles, thoroughly wire brush the surface and clean the dust, wash the surface with water. Any damage surface must be repaired by using polymer modified repair mortar with Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP. Clean the surface, saturated with water and remove the excess water if any and bring to touch dry state. Applying the first coat of mixed @ .75 Sqm / Kg, 1mm thick for 2 coats) Dr. Fixit Pidifin 2K on the prepared surface and allow to dry for 4 to 6 hours. Prepare another batch of Dr. Fixit Pidifin 2K and apply second coat in direction 90 degree to first coat. Overlay protected screed using cement sand (1:3) along with Dr. Fixit LW+ complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair vitreous china wash down water closet (pedestal pattern) white including fixing bolts and connecting to drain pipe, including seat cover plastic flat bottom and mild steel chromium plated hinging device and connection to flush pipe, anti-symphonic pipe etc complete as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repair vitreous china bowl urinal flat back, size of 465 x 355 x 265mm white including waste pipe 32mm dia GI pipe, grating and brass union for discharge pipe complete including providing and fixing plug bedding urinal against wall in cement mortar (1:2) securing urinal to plug with and including 60mm long brass screw pointing around urinal back in cement etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour in repair PVC (SWR) 'P' traps 110 mm dia complete as in repair all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block with grey cement and pigment, any shape and size confirming to IS : 15658-2006 of 60 mm thickness, M-35 grade complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for sand filling under floors or in foundations including watering and consolidation complete all as specified and as directed.
