SPECIAL REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENT OF UNSERVICEABLE HT UG CABLE AND CONNECTED ITEMS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS AND PROVISION OF INTER CONNECTION BETWEEN SUB STATION NO 2 TO SUB STATION NO 11FOR RING MAIN SYSTEM AT AFA HYDERABAD

Excavation in trenches in any kind of soil not .exc 1.5 m wide and n. exc 1.5 m depth and getting out in any type of soil , including trimming the sides and forming bottom surfaces to required levels for laying cables complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil add to item No 1 above but for each additional 1.5 mtr or part there of in depth beyond the first 1.5 mtr complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for River dry sand cushioning to UG cables (8 cm deep before laying of cable and 15 cm deep over the cable) in trenches including punned thickness up to 18 cm and consolidation, complete all as directed. (Note :- Punned thickness only will be considered for payment).

Returning, filling in trenches in any type of soil in layers not.exc. 25 cm after laying of cables including spreading, levelling, and well ramming complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing surplus soil to a distance outside MD land and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and lay un reinforced pre cast concrete cable covers conforming to IS-5820-1970, class HV, type 2 flat of size 300 mm x 180 mm x 40 mm laid in trenches as protection to HT cables complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out / down unserviceable / damage HT 11 KV grade cable of any cross sectional area and its connection of any description laid in trenches and fixed with pole / wall etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying & testing HT cable XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded,galvanized steel strip or wire armoured,electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor, 11000 volts grade, of size 3.0 core 185 sq mm complete all as specified and as directed.

(i) 3 Core HT XLPE Cable 50 Sqmm to 95 Sqmm

(ii) 3 Core HT XLPE Cable 120 Sqmm to 185 Sqmm

M&L for Heat shrinkable HT 11 KV Out door termination joint kit for XLPE 11 KV (HT) 3 Core cables including materials for the following sizes of cable complete all as specified and as directed.

(i) 3 CoreHT XLPE Cable 50 Sqmm to 95 Sqmm

(ii) 3 Core HT XLPE Cable 120 Sqmm to 185 Sqmm

Supply, joint,and test, HT Straight through jointing kit Heat shrinkable type suitable for HT 11 KV XLPE armoured aluminium cable with necessary jointing materials straight through, connecting of sizes suitable for the following size of cable complete all as specified and as directed.

(i) 3.0 core HT XLPE Cable 50 to 95 Sqmm 3 Core

(ii) 3.0 core HT XLPE Cable 120 to 185 Sqmm , 3core

S&F Switch Air Break gang operated HT 11 KV Volts grade triple pole with 9 insulators, 200 amps rating with drop out fuse assembly with fuse carrier, fuse element mounted on insulator and fitted on steel frame vertically operated mechanism from ground level consisting of operating rod of 25 mm bore light grade GI pipe of suitable length worked from ground level and with locking arrangement flat iron clamp 50 mm x 6 mm including MS channel of suitable size and length for fixing GOD including bolts, nuts, and washers complete fixed on existing four pole structure complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Channel, cross arms, bracings etc shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply and fix 11 KV Drop out fuse unit Polymer type ,11 KV, 200 Amps Channel type as per relevant IS- 9385 Part I/II complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix 11 KV Drop out fuse unit, Polymer type ,11 KV, 400Amps Channel type as per relevant IS 9385 Part I/II complete all as specified and as directed.

S& F Pin type,Polymer insulator 11 KV 320 cd 5 kn for 11000 volts grade complete including all accessories yoke,clamps,nuts,bolts etc and including dismantling of unserviceable insulators complete all as specified and as directed. .

S& F Disc type ,Polymer insulator 11 KV 320 cd 45 kn for 11000 volts grade complete including all accessories yoke,clamps,nuts,bolts etc and including dismantling of unserviceable insulators complete all as specified and as directed. .

M&L for lightening arrester expulsion type complete with all fittings transmission class, 11000 Volts, discharge capicity 65 Kilo Amps including taking down existing lightening arrester complete all as specified and as directed. .

Dismantling rusted cross arms of M.S channel or angle section etc complete all as specified and as directed. .

M&L for cross arms, bracings, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel section with painting of one primer coat and under coat and one finishing coat including nuts, bolts, washers, drilling holes for bolts in any shapes or size all as directed and including applying two coats of Aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed. .

M&L for stringing and fixing in position ACSR conductor in OH lines conductor (Rabbit) including binding with aluminium wire complete including dismantling unserviceable ACSR Conductor from insulators complete all as specified and as directed. .

M&L for earthing complete with Galvanised steel earth plate eletrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below GL) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filled in alternate layers and electrode connections by using Galvanised iron 32 x 6 mm strip connected by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washer of galvanised iron or steel, provision of 40mm dia GI pipe medium grade for protection of GI earth strip and 20mm dia GI pipe medium grade for watering arrangement and PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber of size 45cm X 45cm X 45cm including, MS funnel, wire mesh, 50 mm thick RCC 1:2:4 type B1 earth pit cover with 6 Nos, 8 mm dia high strength deformed steel TMT bars on both ways including necessary excavation in any type of soil, returning, filling in, removal of surplus soil to distance n exc 50 mtr, provision of charcoal and comman salt complete all as shown in electrical plate No 4 of MES Schedule Part-I (2009) complete all as specified and as directed. .

Supply and fix steel tubular swaged poles complete with CI base plate and finial taper , plugs bolts, nuts and screw as specifed type 410 SP-55 (11.0 meter long) including applying two coats of Aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer including taking down existing pole complete all as specified and as directed. .

Supply and fix Prestressed concrete poles of 11 meter long having 152 mm x 152 mm at top and 152 mm x 260 mm at bottom ,including applying two coats of cement base paint including taking down existing pole complete all as specified and as directed. .

M&L for Anti climbing devices,spikes type fabricated out of MS bar (round,square and flat) including nuts, bolts, washer and welding in two halves made to shape suit the cross section of the pole including taking down existing pole complete all as specified and as directed.

M &L for Danger Notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and coventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS Clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT,25 cm x 20cm size including taking down existing pole complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for loose filling with aggregate of gauge 40 mm of broken stone or boulders, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface of transformer and two pole / four pole structures complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Compression / crimping type sleeve joints for jointing conductors / jumper connections of size above 10 mm dia of conductor wire including treatment with conducting petrolium jelly overall including taking down existing pole complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F cable route marker made up of PCC block (1:3:6) type. C-1 mix using 20 mm graded stone aggregated of size 900 mm x 300 mm x 100 mm thick (45 Cm buried in ground) and properly painted colour as per approved by Enginer - in -Charge (HT) and written both side with signed red colour paint (MES HT cable 11 KV ) on route marker / Indicator including necessary excavation, PCC and earth work complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing 100 mm dia light grade galvanized pipe ISI marked with all fittings ISI marked, laid in trenches, under road or fixing on wall / pole / crossing nallah etc including taking down unserviceable GI pipe complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L for stay assembly complete with accessories as shown in elect plate no- 1 of SSR pt -I 2009 for dia of stay rod 20 mm including GI stay strand of size 7 / 3.15 mm (maximum length 11.00 mtr) to keep the pole in vertical position incl loop insulator stay including dismantling and taking out old unserviceable stay assembly set complete (PCC will be measured and paid separately) including dismantling and taking out the exisiting unserviceable stay assembly complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 mix using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in platform, filling and mass concrete, coping to pole for embedding stay road all as specified, including necessary form work and applying two coats of white wash to exposed surface of coping / platform complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 mix using 40 mm graded stone aggregate for pole foundations filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for providing PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 mix using 40 mm graded stone aggregate for stay wire / foundation / platform complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Boring of holes under road, pavement hard standing by using trenchless technology using ultrasound technique and necessary machine to insert pipe of 100 mm light grade GI pipes with all fittings such as bends, elbows, Tees, etc, for protection of cable complete including all plant & machinaries, alongwih Butt fusion welding machine with all accessories, T&P etc required all as specified and as directed. (Note :- Protection pipe will be measured and paid separately)

Supply, laying, testing and commissioning XLPE HT cable , insulated, screended, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electic power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, conforming to IS : 7098 (Part II), 11 KV "E" grade, ISI marked in drum, cross sectional area 95 Sqmm, 3.0 core laid in pipe/ducts/ trenches/ under floor/ under road/ poles etc all as specified and as directed. Note :- (a) Excavation and earth work, sand cushion, PCC cover and protection pipe shall be measured and paid separately in respective items. (b) Contractor shall ensure to visit the site and work out the actual requirement of cable before placing of order as per the site requirement as approved by GE / Engineer-in-Charge. (d) The unit rate quoted shall be inclusive of any straight through joints comes in the total length of cable. No extra payment shall be allowed for the straight through joints
