Replacement of damaged parts of 02 no reflux valves, inlet and exit gates of sump tank including reconditioning of 400mm dia MS rising main with allied works at LIS Garnai

Repair to 400mm dia MS rising main 345 metre approximately of LIS Garnai at multiple spots along the alignment by way of cutting of bushes, excavation of soil around the leakage points so as to easily access to plug the leakage by chipping and cleaning of the rusted/damaged portion of rising main by using gas flame and cutting of the welding flux from the damaged joints then welding the joints by welding set in two layers. Properly chipping off the joints in each successive layer to remove any welding defect and then reinforcing the joints by tagging the joint with MS strips across the joints including providing and welding of suitable MS pipe pieces with superior quality welding electrodes wherever required. After completion of the welding process cooling the pipe to atmospheric temperature and then testing the pipe on full load condition for any leakages and then refilling, leveling and finishing the excavated earth. Job further includes laying of 06 no concrete anchor blocks of appropriate size at different locations on 400mm dia MS rising main to withstand the thrust force and to prevent any damage of joints/movement of pipe. The rising main to be properly anchored in the concrete blocks by anchoring the pipe by angle iron/steel bar which has to be embedded in the concrete blocks in the ratio of 1:2:4 (cement:sand:bajri). P/f of 01 no 100 mm dia heavy duty double ball kinetic air release valve conforming to ISI standards at suitable place on 400 mm dia rising main. Job includes welding of 100 mm dia GI pipe of approximately 1m length to rising main at one end and welding of flange corresponding to air release valve at another end and then fixing of air release valve with the help of nuts, bolts and rubber washer. Repair to 02 no 400mm dia reflux valves installed on 400mm dia rising main of LIS Garnai by way of unfastening of rusted/damaged studs/nuts and bolts, opening of bonnet cover, extraction of damaged disk assembly. Then checking for any cracks, removing of foreign material deposited inside the body. Providing , fabrication and fitting of complete disc assembly and then re-fitting of the bonnet cover by p/f of new rubber joint, studs, nuts and bolts as per site requirement. Repairs to 02 no gates installed at sump tank of LIS Garnai by way of dismantling of winch machines, extraction of gates outside the frame using manual labour and tools & tackles. Shifting of the winch machines and stem rods to the workshop for its repairs and repairs to the winch machines by way of providing and fitting of new gears, worms and bushes as per sample, straightening of stem rods in bench press and then back shifting to site. Reinstallation at site and then greasing & oiling using standard quality grease after removing the old grease and washing / cleaning with kerosene oil or any other solvent to make it dust free. Cleaning the guide channels with kerosene oil to make it dust free and then greasing it and testing. Job further includes replacement of 50mm dia and 40mm dia GI suction/delivery pipelines including other GI fittings of priming pump set by way of providing of 50mm dia GI pipe approximately 3 metre in length along with 50 mm dia foot valve, 40 mm dia GI pipe approximately 7 metre in length including GI fittings i.e; Ball valves, sockets, nipples, union etc as per site requirement and then fitting with all the three number pumps with proper welding using good quality electrodes including making of concrete block of appropriate size for supporting priming pumping unit at proper level so as to ensure proper alignment of suction pipe and replacement of PVC wire from priming unit upto starter as per site requirement including painting of suction and delivery pipelines of priming unit. The job includes complete removal of old paint by sand/emery paper and complete painting of the gates and winch machines including suction and delivery pipe lines of 03 no pumping units with two coats of enamel paint installed at LIS Garnai. Job also includes painting of 400mm dia 345 metre approximately in length rising main by way of cutting of all the bushes around the laid rising main from pumping station upto the delivery tank, removing of all the dirt/dust and foreign deposits on the rising main with the help of sand/emery paper, applying one coat of red oxide primer and then two coats of black enamel paint on the exposed portion of rising main after proper testing of joints on rising main. Complete Job includes cost of material, skilled/semi-skilled manual labour, carriage/transportation, hire charges of tools and tackles, welding/gas cutting charges, curing charges, shuttering charges including testing at site on full load inclusive of all taxes. Complete job.
