Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5 deep for foundations of poles/stays/cable etc. and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 3.0 deep for foundations of poles/stays/cable etc. and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in earth including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers each not exceeding 25 cm thick each layer, complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing of surplus soil to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for sand cushioning with a layer of fine sand (sand for plastering) 8 cm thick before laying of cable and 15 cm thick after laying of cable in trenches complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying well burnt old size sub class 'B' bricks laid flat with width equal to length of brick perpendicular to the direction of cable , adjacent/abutting each other complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge in trenches over the cable for protection.

Relaying of serviceable bricks breath wise in trenches for UG cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling/uprooting of LT unserviceable pre-stressed concrete/steel poles of any size and shape and including taking out dismantled portion of poles embeded in ground after necessary demolition of concrete foundation and making good disturbed ground surface properly and disposal thereof as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Earth work for taking out of poles shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this Schedule.

Dismantling cross arms of MS channel or angle sections etc., and keeping serviceable materials in safe custody for re-use and/or unserviceable materials removing from the Site(s), complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling LT Stay assembly, of any size and unserviceable materials removing from the Site(s), complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- a) Unserviceable Stay assembly shall be taken off/dismantled at Ground Level and making good disturbed ground surface. b) Earthwork for demolition of cement concrete shall be measured and paid separately under relevant Items of this Schedule.

Dismantling of ACSR conductors or disturbed span including line spacer and keeping serviceable materials in safe custody for re-use and unserviceable materials removing from the Site(s), complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling earth wire of any size/dia or aluminium conductor, guarding cradle or disturbed span and keeping serviceable materials in safe custody for re-use and removing unserviceable materials from the Site(s) complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying, erecting and fixing Pre-stressed concrete poles 9 mtr long of cross section 102mmx172mm at top and 102mmx279mm at bottom Class 10 compluing with requirement of IS-1678-1978 including painting of poles with two coats of synthetic enamel paint in black and white strips each 30 cm wide each up to 1.5mtr high from coping over a coat of primer including numbering of poles complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC(1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation of electric poles,struts,PCC blocks etc including necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC(1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation of assembly,bed concrete including necessary form work and fair finish to exposed surfaces without using extra cement complete all as specifieds,struts,PCC blocks etc including necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F stay assembly comprising of stay bow 40cm long,16mm dia , complete with accessories as shown in electrical Plate No-1 of SSR Part-1 with and including 16mm dia stay rod 180cm long with threaded ends,GI nuts,check nuts,bolts,washers 2 thimbles MS clamp made out of 40x6mm flat Iron includig nuts,bolts and washers,230mmx230mmx6mm thick stay plate and also exposed surfaces shall be given two coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) of sizes on LT poles including straining, binding with insulators with aluminium binding wire with insulator as in OH conductor, providing PVC sleeves for jumpers complete all specified and directed.

Fixing only by re-straining, tightening of ACSR conductors of any size/type on HT/LT poles including necessary new aluminium binding wire for fixing with insulator/PVC sleeves for jumper etc as required complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Serviceable ACSR conductors shall be obtained from item No. 11 here-in-before.

S&F PVC fibre separator for LT line 1100 volt OH conductor 3/4 wire system for maintaining horizontal spacing of conductor complete with nut & bolt minimum two nos in a span complete as specified and directed.

M&L galvanised steel continuous earth wire 3.15 mm or 4 mm dia and fabricating cradles,hexagonal/rectangular complete as specified and directed.

Fixing only serviceable GI wire 3.15 mm or 4 mm dia martial obtained from item No 12 here-in-before complete all as specified and directed.

S&F pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 100 mm height, 65 mm dia for 1100 volts grade complete as specified and directed.

Fixing only serviceable pin type porcelain, vitreous, (white/brown or green) insulator for 1100 volts grade of any type obtained from item No 13.00 here-in-before.

S&F shackle type, porcelain, vitreous white, brown or green insulator including galvanised mild steel straps of size 31 x 3 mm, 12 mm dia insulator bolts, nuts and washers for working pressure 1100 volts of size 75 mm height, 90 mm dia complete as specified and directed.

Fixing only serviceable shackle type porcelain, vitreous (white / brown or green) insulator of any size and shape for 1100 Volts grade obtained from item No 13.00 here-in-before.

Preparation of old painted surface above the planting depth and PCC coping of steel tubular LT pole of upto 11.00 metre length including MS clamps ,cable protection pipe bracket fitted with street light fittings etc by scraping with steel wire brush and applying two coats, of aluminium paint to external surface of poles MS cross arms MS clamp, cable protection pipe etc to give even shade including Zebra colour of painting from 2.4 mtr height from the top of caping/ bottom of pole as per site condition and numbering of poles complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Note: Zebra colour will be applied by synthetic enamel paint of White/Black (or Green) colour as approved in alternate layer of 30 cm height of each layer.

Labour for Cutting of tree branches 2 mtr above the conductor which are touching to the LT Over Head Lines in vertically & horizontally conductor and poles etc, complete clear in a standard Span in between two poles as per SSR Part-I, 19.59 and removing cutting material not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a distance level not exc 3 mtr from starting point, minimum 04 Nos of Mazdoor-man with ropes/cutting tools complete will be engaged for a standard one span at a forest/high gradient/any type of surfaces, follows safety measures as per IE Rules, all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparation of old painted / rusted surfaces of steel tubular poles of any long type 410 SP-55 and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint up to 1.2 mtr height as per exising pattern above the P.C.C coping and two coat of aluminum paint (1st quality) beyond 1.2 mtr height (for the rest of portion) incl cross arms and channel, angle fitted on the pole incl wiriting pole numbers and cutting vegetation growth all arond and on the poles up to 1 mtr radius complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old / unserviceable under ground LT cables and connections including pipes, bricks or precast concrete cable cover etc of any from trenches/walls/poles of any cross sectional area and keeping serviceable materials in safe custody for reuse and unserviceable materials removing from site all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay in replacement XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable (heavy duty) 1100 Volt grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 300 sq mm 3 1/2 core laid in trenches/ on wall/ on pole/ in air/ through pipe/ duct etc with necessary aluminium lugs/thimble as required at site to connect the cables to equipment and pannels complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Notes: (i) Wherever cable fixing/connection, suitable thimble should be used as per site situation. (ii) Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning, brick work and GI pipe shall be measured and paid separately.

The unit rate shall include for protection pipe, GI water pipe, funnel,wire mesh excavation,RCC pit cover,test point,4 mm dia galvanised iron wire from top of earth plate upto 5mtr above GL anf if GI protection is less than 5m,no price adjustment shall be made.

PCC pit shall be provided at least 50cm away from the earth pit and not just on the earth pit and extra cost of additional length of water pipes and fittings, junction, elbow etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate.

If the testing result of earth Wk is not been found satisfactory then the contractor shall do other earthing work at his own cost and nothing shall be permissible on the account.

Earthing work will be carried out in presence of MES representative.
