Annual O and Mtc of distribution syste, rising main, sluice valves including operation of sulice valves at Pratappur (Zone-II) PWSS under Durgapur W/S Division, PHE Dte (w.e.f. 01.07.2026 to 30.06.2027)

Opening and Closing of all the different dia sluice valves (80 mm dia to 350 mm dia) on different places along the alignment of the rising main and distribution main at different places over the command area daily as and when required for regulating the supply of water and distributing water all over the command area smoothly including changing and restoration of gland packing of sluice valve, air valve if required including opening the cap / plug of washout point or opening the sluice valves including de-jointing flange joints (80 mm to 350 mm dia) including repairing works and cleaning the pipeline of changing of gate, spindle or liner etc. of sluice valves all complete, restoration works to be done including earth work in the excavation bailing out of water, re-filling the excavated earth, taking out of RCC slab or slab cover and refaxing true to position etc. all complete as per the specification and direction of EIC.N.B. 1. Contractor have to issue identity card to the valve operator within 15 days of receiving of workorder. 2. Contractor have to produce proper payment voucher in every month of daily worker to the EIC through concerened Assistant Engineer. 3.Daily rate to each labour will have to be paid by the agency not less than Rs 465.00/- (Rupees Four hundred Twenty One only) per day and bonus amounting @ 8.33% per day of the daily worker. Rs 38.73, Sub-Total-Rs 503.73, Contractor's profit 10%-Rs 50.37, Sub-Total-554.11, ADD Employee's service insurance @ 3.25% on Rs 465.00/day-Rs 15.11, Add Employees Provident fund 13.00% of Rs 465.00-Rs 60.45, Grand-Total Rs 629.67, Say 630.00 4. The contractor have to pay the excess amount to the valve man / valve operator during operation and maintenance period even after execution of contract agreement, due to enhancement of rate of wages as per Govt. order. The contractor will submit the bill of excess payment separately for reimbursement. 5. payment of each month have to be paid within 7th of following month.6. Non compliance of payment terms by the Agency will attract action towards payment of valve operators in case of exigencies by EIC directly as a principal employer as per availibility of fund and no payment will be made against this item to the Agency. This may lead to termination of tender forthwith and the agency may be barred from participating in tendering process for 3 (three) years.
