Repairs to water proofing treatment in CA section, LC pump house, Fire Brigade and Main Gate inside SAF, Kanpur

Amount

Disconnecting existing tanks of capacity Exc 500 & n exc 1000 ltrs, setting aside (or lowering, if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position.

Taking down old existing treatment (tarfelt) including cement or cement lime plaster, screed bed, loose concrete etc, any description all as directed by E-I-C.

M&L, for brushing neat cement slurry with 3.00 KG of cement per Sq. Meter

M&L, for 15 mm thick plaster in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement over roof slab, cement plaster laid in slope all as directed by E-I-C. Material to be approved by E-I-C before use.

Supply only integral water proofing compound approved by E-I-C before use in the work.

M&L, for preparation of existing roof surfaces and applying a coat of Bitumen primer @ 0.40 Kg / Sq. m till the surface properly impregnated and applying one coat of hot blown bitumen 85 / 25 grade over the entire surfaces and then providing a layer of APP based of polymeric membrane ( Make – STP / IWL) weighing 3.0 KG / Sq. m and minimum 3 mm thick and again applying a coat of hot blown bitumen of 85 / 25 grade @ 1.20 Kg / Sq. m and applying one coat of Isothene EMA paint over the entire surface @ 0.50 KG / Sq. m all as specified and directed by E-I-C. APP membrane and Isothene EMA paint approved by E-I-C before use in the work.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of industrial bitumen 85 / 25 at the rate of 1.2 Kg/ Sq. m including cleaning surfaces as approved by E-I-C.

Supply & Fixing rough cast wired glass exe. 1.00 Sq m but n. exe. 1.50 Sq. m , 6.40 mm thick and glazing with oil putty in square for north light glass all as per specification and as directed by E-I-C.

Taking down rain water pipes ( any size or pattern), including all fittings, heads, shoes, bends, swan necks, etc., including cleaning and re-fixing or removal to store, all as specified and directed by E-I-C.

S&F, 150 mm dia. cast iron rain water socketed pipes with cement joints, with ears all as specified and directed by E-I-C

M&L, 150 mm dia. Of cast iron shoes of rain water pipes with cement joints fixed to wall as directed by E-I-C.

Cutting holes for clamp fixing etc. in brick walls built in cement mortar superficial area n. exe. 150.00 Sq. cm and making good in cement mortar 1:3 or cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1, as required, all as per specification and all as directed by E-I-C.

S&F, bands, straps, supports or stays for rain water pipes including bolts, if required hooks (stay), clamps and similar small articles conforming to Fe 290. Gde-E-165 all as directed by E-I-C.

Trimming of tree branches over hanging over roof including shifting of debris / branches etc. at suitable place as directed by E-I-C.

Removal of rubbish, debris, demolished building materials, or excavated material etc. to a distance exe. 1.5 KM but non exc. 5.00 KM and depositing where directed at a level n. exe. 1.50 m above the starting point complete as directed by E-I-C.
