Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Add to (or deduct from) above item for every 3cm or part there of above or below 15 cm average depth complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation over areas not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and getting out in soft & loose soil complete all as specified & directed

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr width and getting out in soft & loose soil for foundtion, shaft , wells , cesspits, manholes, peir holes, etc including forming bottom surface to required slope/gradient for laying cables etc. complete all as specified and directed

Spreading and levelling of earth and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm including watering of surplus soils obtained from item no 1 to 4 here-in -before complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming of any type of soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick after laying foundation/ footing/cables/pipes etc. jointed & tested complete all as specified and directed

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundations , mass filling and sub base etc complete all as specified and directed

M&L for used & waste of formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work; vertical or to batter complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for reinforced cement concrete M-30( design mix )(using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in foundation for including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc.; basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete etc complete all as specified & directed. (Note: Reinforcement and Formwork shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of this BOQ)

M&L for mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over grade Fe-500, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking bending spirally for hooping for column, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, complete etc all as specified and directed.

M&L for mild steel TMT bars 08 mm dia and over grade Fe -500 , as in stirrups, spacers & binders ,cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking bending spirally for hooping for column,, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, complete etc all as specified and directed.

M&L for 450 mm bore of Reinforced Concrete Pipe, class NP-2, laid in trenches and jointed in cement mortar 1:1 with collars etc complete all as specified and directed

M&L for concrete bed 100 mm thick for 450 mm bore of drain pipe in plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid on slope, jointed and tested etc complete all as specified and directed

M&L for loose filling with bajri/ gravel 5mm to 10mm in each layers not exceeding 15cm thick spreaded, levelled and rammed including watering complete all as specified & directed .

S&F mild steel anchor bolt (machine made) of exceeding 12mm but not exceeding 20mm dia of neck with hexagonal or square head one end and screwed the other or screwed both ends, each screw end to be fitted with washer and one hexagonal or square nut, length of bolt exceeding 30 cm etc complete all as specified & directed.

S&F steel work in tubular trusses /tubular post (square/ rectangular /circular) steel tubular sections including special shaped washers etc complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to IS 1161 1979 Grade St-240 complete all as specified and directed. Note: Drawing & design shall be approved by GE.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete M-35 (ready mix concrete)(using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in pit, foundation, including raft footings, foundation beams, plinth beams,bases for column etc., basement slabs, under reamed piles and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description, not exceeding 10 cm in width or girth when unconnected with other painting or when painted in and different tint and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed

M&L for preparation of new or previously untreated steel surface of any description , not otherwise described over 10 cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plaster surface wall and applying two coats of cement base paint over a coat of alkali primer including necessary scaffolding complete all as specified & as directed.

Removing surplus excavated soil to a distance n.exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.50m above the starting point complete all as specified & directed.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting/filling with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller including filling in soft spots, depressions etc., which occur during rolling to required camber and gradient etc. including watering before and during rolling complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 250 mm thick (compacted thickness) hardcore of broken stone or boulders of guage exceeding 63mm but not exceeding 100 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers (not exceeding100 mm thick each layer), watered and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller to a true surface to required gradient and camber as required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 250 mm thick (compacted thickness) plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sub base of road etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 250 mm thick (compacted thickness) plain cement concrete M-25 (design mix) (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) casted in panels as in pavement of road including all necessary formwok complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for finishing the surface concrete by brooming while the concrete is still green complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for forming 12mm thick expansion joints filled with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30 mm primed and sealed with sealing compound, Grade ‘A’ for 250 mm thick concrete slab complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for forming Construction joint 10mm wide and 30mm deep by cutting with diamond cutter and filled with sealing compound Grade 'A' complete all as specified and directed.

ML for forming Contraction(Dummy) joint 65mmx10mm wide by cutting with diamond cutter and filled by sealing compound grade 'A' complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 100 mm thick (compacted thickness) plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sub base of floor etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 100 mm thick plain cement concrete 1:2:4,type B-1 , (using 20mm graded cushed stone aggregate) as in floor complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Earthing complete for poles/DBs with galvanised steel earth plate electrode, 600mm x 600mm x 6.3 mm thick, buried directly in the ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below normal (ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50m below ground level connected to galvanized iron strip 25 mm X 4 mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts and washers of GI up to test point, GI tubing 40 mm bore light grade protection pipe, GI watering pipe 20mm bore medium grade with funnel and wire mesh, magnesium charcoal and salt, 40mm thick pre-cast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (Nominal mix) cover reinforced with XPM (weighing n.less than 4 Kg/Sqm) with suitable steel handle, and angle iron 40X40X3mm frame and chamber of PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (including earth work in any type of soil, removal of surplus soil to a distance n.exc.50m) and connecting, testing on completion, all as shown on electric plate No. 03 of SSR-2009 Part-I, including making good disturbed surface of wall ,floors etc.complete all as directed. Notes: (i) Earth lead & protection pipes length upto & including 7.50 metre.The length of the galvanised strip beyond 7.5m will be measured and paid seperately (ii) Earth filling shall be done by vegetable soil. (iii) Soil should be free from stone, boulders, aggregate, gravels etc. (iv) Irrespective of what is shown on plate No 3 of SSR Part-I /1991, the earthing pit shall be precasted PCC (1:3:6) type C1 and the cover of earthing pit shall be of precast RCC (1 :2 : 4) type B-1(using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) with suitable handle all as specified. (v) All joints of galvanised strips shall be of brass only. (vi) Test rresult of earthing to be submitted by the contractor for all earthing . (vii) Earth result of the pit shall be less than 1 Ohms, during the maintenance period also to be maitained earth resistance less than 1 Ohms falling which new earthing to be provided by the contractor with out any extra cost. (viii) The rates quoted by the contractor is deemed to be inclusive of cost of MS sheet for marking the result and its purpose of use of size 300mmX 300mmX3mm size fixed with necessary nuts and bolts on angle iron of length 60cm and size 40X40x5mm grouted in the ground with PCC (1:3:6) (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) of size 200mmX200mmX250mm including necessary earth work.

Supply and fixing earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead 32mm x 6mm, galvanisediron as earth lead, laid in pipe/fixed on walls or any other position including jointing by tinned copper/brass nuts, bolts and washers in addition to brazing at every joint complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Chemical earthing complete with copper plate electrode 900mm X 600mm X 5mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 4.70 meter below normal ground level (with top edge of earth plate not less than 3.60 meter below ground level) and size of earth pit 1.20M X 1.20M X 5.1M(depth) connected to copper earth strip 32mm x 6mm (main earthing lead) by means of tinned copper / brass bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers besides brazing at all joints all as directed and connected to earth test point all as specified and testing on completion with and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil earth electrode ,earthing lead from electrode to test point and filling with and including 150mm thick layer of charcoal,150mm thick common salt and 150mm thick magnesium sulphate in alternative layer upto a height of 1800mm from bottom of pit all around the copper plate GI pipe 50mm dia medium grade for protection of earth lead ,20mm dia watering pipe ,MS funnel with wire mesh including necessary earth work and PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 for earth pit of size 300x300x300mm (Internal Size) and with 100 mm wall thickness over and including PCC base of size 1500mmx1500mmx150mm using PCC 1:4:8 mix type D2 and 40mm thick precast RCC cover in (1:2:4) type B1 with 3 Nos 8mm dia TMT bars both way with 8 mm dia round bar handle including watering before burried of electrode and before making of pit complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (i) The cost of earth lead and protection pipe upto and including 7.5 mtr only from the centre of earth electrode are deemed to be included under this item and additional lead, if any, required at site shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule 'A'. (ii) Any joint in earth lead from earth electrode to test point shall not be allowed/ permitted. (iii) Earth result of the pit shall be less than 1 Ohms, during the maintenance period also to be maitained earth resistance less than 1 Ohms falling which new earthing to be provided by the contractor with out any extra cost.

Supply and fixing earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead 32mm x 6mm, copper strip/earth lead, for roof conductors & down conductors above ground or buried in ground ,laid in pipe/fixed on walls or any other position including jointing by tinned copper/brass nuts, bolts and washers in addition to brazing at every joint complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fixing and laying for 40 mm dia galvanized pipes " heavy duty" threaded, including GI heavy duty socket complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing LT 1100 volt grade XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor, cross sectional area 120 Sq.mm, 3.5 Core laid in trenches/ducts, floors, fixed to walls etc. complete all as specified and directed

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing LT 1100 volt grade XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor, cross sectional area 95 Sq.mm, 3.5 Core laid in trenches/ducts, floors, fixed to walls etc. complete all as specified and directed

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing LT 1100 volt grade XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor, cross sectional area 25 Sq.mm, 4.0 Core laid in trenches/ducts, floors, fixed to walls etc. complete all as specified and directed

Material and Labour for sand filling with clean, dry and sieved fine natural river sand in two portion, including gently punning around cables after the cables are laid, in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and directed. (NOTE: Only punned thickness measured).

Supplying & Laying un-reinforced pre-cast flat concrete cable protection cover of class LV, type- I, size 250 mm x 150mm x 40mm, factory made, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Boring of hole under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machine with & including provision of HDPE pipe of 100 mm bore sutable for 0.4 mpa working pressure complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Pipes shall be laid minimum 2.00 mtr below/under existing road surfaces/taxi track / apron /floors etc
