Improvements road from Dharwad cross (near Dastikoppa ) to Dharwad (near Nuggikeri ) for a length of 28 Kms SH-1 connecting NH-63 and NH-48 in Kalaghatagi/ Dharwad taluka Dharwad ( Job No CRIF-KNT-2023-24-295)

Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth up to 300 mm, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned up to a lead of 1000 meters including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness.including all labour, usage charges of all machinery etc., complete. (for new roads) 2 .ii)By mechanical means A)in area of light jungle. with all lead and lifts and as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge of work.

Dismantling of flexible pavements and disposal of dismantled materials up to a lead of 1000 meters, stacking serviceable and unserviceable materials separately. including all labour, usage charges of all machinery etc., complete. (Dismantled material to be transported mechanically) with all lead and lifts and as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge of work.

Excavation for roadwork in soil by hydraulic excavator including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, and transporting to the embankment location, with all lifts and lead upto 1000 m, including all labour, usage charges of all machinery etc., complete. with all lead and lifts and as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge of work.

Loosening, leveling and Compacting original ground supporting embankment to facilitate placement of first layer of embankment, scarified to a depth of 150 mm, mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by rolling so as to achieve minimum dry density as given in Table 300-2 for subgrade construction including all lead, lifts, loading, unloading, all labour, usage charges of all machinery etc., complete. with all lead and lifts and as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge of work.

Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits laid in layers not exceeding 250 mm loose thickness, spreading, breaking clods, removal of roots and other organic materials to the required line, grade and cross section including watering, consolidation by roller to the desired field density not less than 95% of maximum dry density including all lead, lifts, loading, unloading, all labour, usage charges of all machinery etc., complete with all lead and lifts and as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge of work.

Construction of sub-grade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table No. 300-2 laid in layers not exceeding 250 mm thick and compacting it by mechanical means after adding water to its OMC, so as to achieve 97% compaction of maximum dry density and finish the surface to the required camber, grade and cross section etc., speading, grading by motor grador, consolidation by roller including all lead, lifts, loading, unloading, all labour, usage charges of machinery etc., complete. (New road formation) with all lead and lifts and as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge of work.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed Material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401 including protection of edges of GSB layer, cost of all materials, labour, usage charges of all machinery, lighting, guarding, barricading, maintenance of diversion road, loading & unloading all lead, lifts etc., complete with all lead and lifts and as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge of work.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate as per table 400-12 & 400-13, to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density of 98% including protection of edges of WMM layer, cost of all materials, labour, usage charges of all machinery, lighting, guarding, barricading, maintenance of diversion road, loading & unloading all lead, lifts etc., complete, with all lead and lifts and as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge of work.

Providing and applying primer coat with SS1 bitumen emulsion complying IS-8887 on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 kg/sqm using mechanical means.as per table-500-3, including cost of all materials, labour, usage charges of all machinery, loading & unloading etc., complete,over WMM/WBM surface. with all lead and lifts and as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge of work.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion(RS1) using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.25 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom & dusting by air compressor and spraying including cost of all materials, labour, usage charges of all machinery, loading & unloading etc., complete, (A) On Granular surfaces treated with primer. with all lead and lifts and as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge of work.
