Notes for BOQ items:- 1. Contractor is required to deploy the minimum one Plumber and one helper daily (except holiday & Sunday) as under:- (a) One Plumber with One helper for all plumbing related works of BOQ. All the trandesman shall be available at MES service centre at Bharatiyar Nagar from 0830 Hours to 1630 Hours on working days. The rates quoted by contractor shall deemed to be include this aspect. In case, if the contractor fails to employ the above persons, a recovery of Rs 800/- per tradesman per day and Rs 650/- per helper per day will be deducted from the payments due to him. Contractor shall produce attendance register of tradesman at the time of RAR payment duly signed by AGE. 2. Attendance register alongwith details of complaint to monitor the arrival and departure of tradesman shall be maintained by JE-in-Charge and signed by the contractor on daily basis. 3. The tradesman employed by the contractor shall have experience in their trades. The contactor will get the names of tradesman approved from Engr-in-Charge. The accepting officer reserves the right to reject the employment of such person forthwith. No claim what-so ever be entertained on this regard.

Demolition of cement Concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling floor/wall tiling including cement mortar bedding including backing removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down cement plaster on brick walls including racking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc. all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Rendering 10mm thick in fair faces of brick work or concrete wall surfaces in CM 1:6 finished even and smooth with out using extra cement all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for rendering 10mm thick in CM (1:3) in ceiling surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L preparing new plastered wall surfaces and applying two coat of oil bound distemper over a coat of primer all as specified and directed by Engr -in- Charge.

M&L for applying 2mm thick internal wall care putty complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L preparing old decorated wall surfaces and applying one coat of oil bound distemper all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparing newly plastered surfaces of ceilings and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Non - skid Ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/ rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.06 sqm but not exceeding 0.11 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Glazed ceramic coloured tiles in vertical surface 350x450x7 mm thick set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or colour cement to match over and including 10mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L granite (of any type) black coloured slab 20mm thick in single piece for platform of kitchen/WHB, machine cut bedded and jointed with grey cement slurry and pointed with white cement with admixture of pigment to match over 15mm thick screed bed in CM1:4 the shade of granite stone including grinding and polishing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&f in repair shelf of PTMT fixed with and including plated brass screws and wooden/plastic cleats (minium weight 300gms) all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repair Tubular towel rail 20mm dia D type 60cm long between flanges brass chromium plated all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repair bib taps 15mm dia bore, cast copper ally with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed down, screwed for iron pipe or for brass ferrule and fixed but fancy type, chromium plated all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repair stop valves/angle cock 15mm dia bore fancy type, chromium plated, cast copper alloy screwed pressure, with crutch of butterfly handle, screwed both ends for iron pipe for unions all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repairs Chromium plated brass shower rose 125mm size and 15mm dia with swivel joints all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repair PVC connections 15mm size with PTMT nuts of length 450mm all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repair grating doom 100 mm dia of PTMT (Minimum weight 25 gms)all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repairs PVC valveless 10 litres capacity, syphonic action type, flushing cistern (Push type), low level, white, with inlet, ball valve, float and handle including brackets all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repair vitreous China wash basin, angle back, size 550x400mm white, excluding taps, waste, chain and plug and porcelain stopper but including brackets, cutting for and finning in ends of brackets or erecting stand but exclusive of fixing of supply and waste pipe all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix 32 mm dia waste fitting, brass, chromium plated for glazed ware WHB with long screwed shanks and fly nuts, flange end bedded in red lead cement and other end fixed all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repair pillar taps 15mm dia bore long neck, cast copper alloy, with capstan heads, chromium plated, screwed down high pressure, with or without lettered `Hot' or `Cold' with long screwed shanks and fly-nuts, screwed for iron pipe and fixed but fancy type all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repair vitreous china squatting pan 'Orissa' pattern long size 580x440 mm white, with integral foot rests incl with `P’ or `S’ trups front or back intel, including connecting flush pipe etc complete incl provision of cement concrete bedding.

Supply and fix in repair vitreous china wash down water closet pan (pedestal pattern), white (excluding flushing cistern and flush pipe) including connection to trap and drain (or outgoing pipe) and to flushing pipe, antisyphonage pipe etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair plastic water closet seat, black, closed pattern with flat bottom and cover and mild steel chromium plated or aluminised hinges devices all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting down plants/trees of girth n.exc 15cm from roof tops/sides external walls of bldgs chajjas wall junctions including taking out possible quantities of roots entered in wall/slab surfaces and making good the surfaces and cleaning the roof surface. shall be carried out using PCC 1:2:4 of any depth up to bottom of excavated part/portion and 15mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 area n.exc 0.15 Sqm each all as specified and directed. (Note: Work to shall be carried out up to 05 story Bldgs on external surface of building)

Cutting down plants/trees of girth n.exc 15cm from roof tops/sides external walls of bldgs chajjas wall junctions including taking out possible quantities of roots entered in wall/slab surfaces and making good the surfaces and cleaning the roof surface. shall be carried out using PCC 1:2:4 of any depth up to bottom of excavated part/portion and 15mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 area exc 0.15 sqm but n.exc 0.25 Sqm each all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: Work to shall be carried out up to 05 story Bldgs on external surface of building)

Taking down shutter of any description exc 1 sqm but n.exc 2 sqm each all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F factory made solid panel PVC door shutter 30 mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of MS tubes for top and bottom rails, MS frame shall be covered with heat moulded plain colour PVC "C' channel having a PVC sheet strip of 20 mm widht stuck inside with solvent cement for striles and plain colour PVC sheet for top rail lock rail and bottom rail on eitherside and as gap insert for top rail and bottom rail panelling of plain colour PVC sheet to be fitted in the MS frame welded /sealed to the stiles and rails with suitable PVC sheet beading and joned to gether with solvent cement, supplying and fixing in the frame including provision of 03 Nos of SS hinges 75mm long at site as per specification and drawing.

Taking down existing steel windows/ ventilators any description exc 1sqm and not exc 2sqm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in steel windows with side hung shutters including box type hinges with steel handles peg stays complete with glazing bars devotailed or welded after taking down existing damaged shutters complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Mild steel framed work such as grills gratings etc with ends of bars shouldered etc complete conforming to Fe-410-0 or Fe-310-0 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size quality or description) from metal frames including punching or drilling out old glazing pins/spring clips complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Sheet glass, ordinary quality and glazing with oil putty in squares n.exc 0.50sqm in each pane 3.0mm thick complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting windows/ventilators from its position and Welding with box type hinges including replacement of damaged member and making good the surface by painting with synthetic enamel paint including primer all as directed by Engr-in-charge

securing glass of any description in existing metal frames glased with putty including removing loose or decayed putty and painting one coat on rebales, reputtying and painting on puttied furface to matel existing work complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
