REPAIR MAINT IMPROVEMENT OF EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY AND ALLIED WORKS AT 3 AFRU UNDER GE AF JAISALMER

Design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of outdoor type LT Bus Bar Chamber box, platform mounted, suitable for 3 phase 4 wire, 415 volts AC supply and having 4 Nos stepped type Aluminium bus bars (32mm x 5mm) for looping & branch connection system .The chamber shall be painted with powder coated paint (Shade : RAL-7032) after 7 tank pre-treatment of surfaces. The bus bar chamber shall be provided with suitable Neoprene rubber gasket to make it completely dust and vermin proof and degree of protection not less than IP-55 and general construction conforming to IS : 13947 in and including providing of one No MCCB of 160 Amps, 4 Pole, 25 KA, 50 Hz 415 Volts .The bus bar chamber shall be made out of 3.00mm thick CRCA mild steel sheet and 3.00mm thick gland plate , front door (01 layer) and rear Door (01 layer) opening facility and 4 side slanting canopy type roof on top and mild steel channel (75 MC) base frame at bottom. The bus bar chamber shall be provided with ventilation facility in the form of louvers for better heat dissipation in and including dismantling/taking down of old unserviceable complete all as specified and as directed Note : The bus bar chamber Box shall be designed in such a way that adequate workable space is made available inside the compartments and the size of the chamber shall not be less than 500mm height (without base frame & canopy), 500mm width and 450mm depth).

Supply, laying or fixing or passing through GI pipe, HDPE (DWC pipe) commissioning and testing of PVC / XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty, electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade of the following cross section area including suitable size lugs including taking out /dismantling of existing cable. Note:- Excavation & earth work, sand cushioning, bricks protection & GI pipe where required shall be measured & paid separately under relevant items:-

(a) 50 Sqmm 3.5 core

(b) 70 Sqmm 3.5 core

(c) 95 Sqmm 3.5 core

(d) 120 Sqmm 3.5 core

(e) 240 Sqmm 3.5 core

Excavation in trenches, n exc 1.5m wide and n exc 1.5m in depth , for foundation, etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, laying of cables etc. n exc 10sqm on plan and n exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in any type of soil complete all as directed at site.

Excavation in post holes(or similar holes) each n. exc 0.5 cum getting out ,returning filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with around in layer n.exc.25 cm thick, watering and removing surplus soil to a distance n. exc 50 m and making good surface all complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L for tibba Sand cushioning to under ground cable in trenches/existing cable trenches/ducts in layers of 8 cm deep before laying the cable and 15 cm deep after laying and stretching the cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

M& L for Stone patti 40 to 50mm thick rough dressed Jodhpur stone slab cover in trenches for protection of cable 25 to 35cm wide and not less than 60cm in length laid dry abutting each other with gap between adjacent slab not exceeding 10mm over sand cushioning complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance n exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning , filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm complete all as specified and as directed.

M& L for Earthing complete with galvanished earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 deep below normal ground level and connected to galvanished iron earth lead strip 32mmx6mm upto 7.50 metre, by means of GI nuts, bolt, check nuts, washers, thimbles, etc as shown in electrical plate No. 5 SSR Part-I and connection to main switch board or panel and testing on completion including excavation and earth work in any type to soil, returning fitting in and removal of surface spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre, PCC chamber (1:3:6) type C-2, charcoal and salt mixed layer 15cm thick all around the earth plate electrode, MS funnel with wire mesh, GI pipe light grade 20mm bore for watering and 50mm bore GI pipe light grade for earth wire protection fixed with poles with two clamps, made from earth lead strip 32mm x 6mm, bolts, nuts and washers, 80mm thick pre cast RCC cover 1:2:4, type B-1, reinforced with hard drawn steel wire fabric weighing not less than 4 Kg/Sqm in lieu of CI cover etc including taking down old earth complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The unit rate shall be deemed to included for Test point, 32mmx6mm GI strip from top of the earth plate upto 7.50m above ground level. In case, GI protection pipe required is less than 7.50m, no price adjustment shall be made. (ii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500mm away from the earth pit and not just on the earth pit and extra cost of additional length of water pipes and fittings, junctions, elbow etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor.

M&L in repair galvaniased iron (GI) strip 32mm x 6 mm buried in ground/ fixed on wall/ Passed through pipe/wall incuding connected by means of exothermic brazing, nuts and bolts where required complete all as specified and directed

Surface excavation and spreading of new aggreagate of size 40mm evenly inside the transformer yard area, and remove the all debris, hard soil upto a depth of 10cm manually without causing damage to the LT/HT under ground cables of any size and in the presence of under ground cable loop carefully clearing the area with out using excavating tools like crow bar, spades, showel etc and depositing excavated earth to a distance not exceeding 50m complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) Type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundations filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) Type B-2 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundations filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for MCCB 3 pole 100 Amps rupturing capacity 16 KA, with connecting links on LT panel/feeder pillar including dismantling/taking down existing unserviceable MCCB complete all as specified and directed.

Preperation of surface of RCC LT poles and M&L for painting with one coat synthetic enamel paint upto 1.5m height in blue and white colour alternate strips each of 30cm wide, and making top strip of 30cm wide with signaling red colour complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for painting to steel tubular pole/Rail Pole, swan neck pole of LT over head line and all MS clamps, cross arm work on poles with one coat of superior aluminium paint including necessary preparation of surfaces and painting of alternate strip with black and blue for LT and Black and red for HT, synthetic enamelled paint strip 05 Nos each of 30 cm height up to 1.5mtr above PCC benching/coping complete all as specified and directed

Relaying LT cable after, jointing or necessary repair work and testing XLPE insulated PVC outer seathed and PVC inner sheath, galvanised steel strips armoured, and reconnecting the cable from over head line and panel suitable for rated voltage of 1100 Volts grade 25 sqmm to 240 sqmm 4/3.5 Core and laid in treches/ducts/pipe or on read/pole all as required and directed at site. Note: Excavation and earth work and joints will be measured and paid seprately

M&L for change over switch 315 Amps ON load in sheet enclosure four pole to be fixed on wall with FI 32X6mm, nuts, bolts, washers etc. fixed in repair complete with all electric connection complete all as specified and directed.

Scrubbing of existing paints of existing voltage stabilizer of any type and size where rusted, and removing old paints and preparation of surfaces for painting complete and M&L for painting of servo voltage stabilizer externaly with one coat of superior quality smoke grey paint to achieve fine finishing complete all as specified and directed
