R/M of Flood Fighting for the year 2026-27

Disassembly of hub system; cleaning, de-greasing and inspection of all running components; replacement of defective taper roller bearings (Part No. NBC 418) as required, bearing cups, oil seals and associated hardware; re-greasing and re-assembly and Repairing of hitch coupling and four-leaf spring suspension system; re-tensioning of leaf spring packs to restore camber; replacement of defective rubber/nylon bushes, eye bolts, centre bolts, U-clamps, shackles and related fasteners; welding of battery support bracket, diesel/fuel tank mounting frame and pump foundation base plate on pump trolley; fabrication by welding and replacement of sections using MS flat bars, angle iron sections or plate as required all complete as required.

Reconditioning of Complete Electrical System of 32 HP Diesel Engine Pump Set including: (i) Repairing of self starter with replacement of Carbon brush, filled coil, armature and bushes etc. with labour opening & refitting all complete as required. (ii) Repairing of Alternator and wiring of 32 HP diesel engine including replacement of defective parts all complete as required. (iii) Repairing and replacement of defective cables, connectors, crimped terminals and fuses; insulation testing of circuits; proper cable routing and clamping all complete as required. (iv) Repairing of Battery terminals and clamps; replacement of defective/missing battery terminals all complete as required.

Replacement of flexible coupling rubber; replacement of engine lube oil filter, diesel fuel filter and air filter elements with OEM/equivalent components; re-packing of pump shaft gland with suitable packing rope to arrest leakage; replacement of cooling fan V-belt(s); internal cleaning and flushing of diesel fuel tank to remove sludge and water contamination; checking, caliberation of fuel injectors, all complete as required. (POL to be supplied by the Department.)

Scrubbing and cleaning of rust, oil, grease and dirt from all external surfaces of engine, pump body, trolley frame, wheel rims and battery/fuel tank brackets by wire brushing & Spray Painting of approved colour deco/enamel paint all complete as per CPWD specification.

Stencilling and painting of Department name, Division and unique Pump number (as allotted by Department) on both sides of pump trolley using white synthetic enamel paint & Providing and fixing retro-reflective luminous safety caution tape (minimum 50 mm wide, high-visibility grade conforming to IRC/MoRTH specifications) along trolley perimeter for night-time visibility during flood operations; all complete as required.
