SITE GRADING

Site Clearing Grubbing, scrubbing & clearing the areas, removal of roots/boulders, breaking clods, making up the hollow produced by removal of roots/boulders with available earth, clearing the site of all objectionable/unserviceable materials by means of manual or mechanical excavation as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Including loading, transport, unloading and disposal of the unserviceable material at designated areas within the plant boundary and leveling the same. The cutting and stripping work shall be done to an average depth of 300 mm and the surface rough-levelled for subsequent works. Including loading, transport, unloading and disposal of the unserviceable material at designated areas outside the plant boundary and leveling the same. Including Inspection and testing.

As above for solid wastes

As above but for solid cum liquid wastes such as oily sludge, muck etc.

EARTHWORK

Earth work in excavation for all kind of Soil including all labour, materials, dressing of sides, pumping & bailing out water accumulated due to rain and / or subsoil waters and including disposal or stacking, leveling and neatly dressing as decided by Engineer-in-Charge including providing temporary supports to existing service lines like water pipes, sewerage, electric cables, etc., if any, complete, including shoring/ strutting /sheet pile, all materials and labour complete and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge for following depth. Excavated soil shall be disposed at least 50 m away from the Plant Boundary / kept for backfilling within a radius of 500M and the charges for the same is included in this item. Note: Payment for Excavation shall be made on PCC Foot Print Area basis.

STONE BLANKET LAYER OVER STONE COLUMNS The Stone blanket layer should be constructed including the supply of materials with mixture of 75mm and Down size graded stone aggregates (with the Uniformity coefficient of the same should be greater than 3 and the grain size distribution curve reflecting well graded. the crushing value of the stone should not be more than 25% flakiness index more than 15%, abrasion value not more than 30%, Impact value not more than 25%) and well graded medium to coarse sand of Fineness Modulus not less than 2.2 mixed in the ratio of 2:1 (2 Stone Aggregates:1 Sand). The Layer should be laid in layers of 150mm, compacted to a relative dry density of 85% and as per the specifications provided in the TP-1ZZZA-CV-SPE-0038 and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Sand Filling - Non FIM Items

Supplying and filling approved SAND of specified quality under floors, in foundations, plinths, tank foundations etc. for all depths and heights including cost of sand,royalties, transportation to site for all leads and lifts,including loading, unloading, spreading in layers of loose thickness not exceeding 150 mm,watering,ramming,compacting with mechanical compactors and/or other equipment to the specified levels to achive 85% relative density as per IS:2720 Part XIV,including preparation of subgrade to the required slope,providing testing apparatus and testing the degree of consolidation all complete as per drawings, specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge.The rates shall be inclusive of the cost of all labour,material,equipments etc. all complete

Supplying, transporting and laying approved quality clean, natural or crushed stone of size up to 90 mm and downgrade mixed with approved quality hard and durable sand as per drawing/ standards/ specifications either for Stabilizing the Soil under Foundations and / or to provide the same over flat and/ or sloped ground surface, floors, etc. for Grading purposes including preparation of Sub-grade as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Antitermite - Non FIM Items

Providing and injecting approved chemical emulsions as specified for pre­ constructional ANTI-TERMITE TREATMENT and creating a chemical barrier under and around column pits, wall trenches, basement excavations, top surfaces of plinth filling, junction of wall and floor, along the external perimeter of building, expansion joints. surrrounding of pipes and conduits etc. all complete as specified and directed (Plinth area of the building at ground floor only shall be measured).

TRANSPORTING & DISPOSING THE SURPLUS EARTH AND DEBRIS

Transporting and disposing the SURPLUS EARTH AND DEBRIS including shrubs and vegetations from construction area beyond the initial LEAD OF 500M AND UPTO WITHIN REFINARY PLANT BOUNDARY including re-excavating the deposited soil excavated earlier, transportation, loading, unloading, laying at all depths and heights, stacking, levelling and dressing both the area (viz. from where the earth is transported and where it is deposited) to required levels and slopes complete with all lifts as directed. For carting on the basis of truck measurements (Volume of truck reduced by 30% for voids). Note : Outing gate of Refinery shall be decided by NRL / EIC as per the site condition . The arrangement of necessary land for disposal is in the scope of the contractor & The cost should be inclusive of same. Including necessary approval from the local authorities for the dumping area.

Water proof lining (Poly ethylene based)

Providing and laying 40mm thick DAMP PROOF COURSE on plinth level with plain cement concrete of grade M20 with 10mm & down size graded crushed stone aggregates. integral water proofing compound conforming to IS:2645 shall be mixed with concrete, placed in two layers of 20mm thick with two coats of hot bitumen (Grade A90 / S90 conforming to IS:73) applied @ 1.7 Kg/sq.m. over each layer as per specifications including cleaning, watering the top surface of walls, centering, shuttering, placing, tamping. curing, sprinkling an even layer of dry & sharp sand over the hot bitumen etc. all complete as specified and directed.

Plinth protection around buildings

Providing and laying plinth protection around the building perimeter including: Base layer of 75mm thick bed of dry brick ballast 40mm nominal size, well rammed and consolidated and grouted with fine sand. Top layer of 100mm thick of M-20 grade concreter including shuttering and excluding reinforcement, laid to slope including tools & labor, excavation, disposal of surplus earth, trowel finishing the top layer, curing etc. all complete as specified in the Drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. Inspections and Tests as per relevant technical specifications and codes shall be deemed to be included in the scope

ROOF WATERPROOFING CUM (OVER DECK) INSULATION SYSTEM

Supply and Installation of Waterproof cum insulation system over roof shall consist of following layers over prepared surface of roof slab: • 1st layer One coat of Polyurethane primer • 2nd layer 40 mm thick machine sprayed Polyurethane Foam Insulation • 3rd layer Minimum 1.5mm DFT (Dry Film Thickness) elastomeric single component Polyurethane water proofing coating • 4th layer Geo-textile membrane • 5th layer Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) top layer (minimum 50mm thick, reinforced with 24 G wire netting, in chequered finish laid in panels of maximum 2500 mm X 2500 mm size with required slope for roof drainage.) Providing and fixing in position 50 mm Dia GI Pipe Spouts to slope for drainage of Canopy, Chajja, etc. including puncturing the masonry/ RCC and grouting with M15 Grade Concrete, finishing, etc. all complete as required and as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge. Inspections and Tests as per relevant technical specifications and codes shall be deemed to be included in the scope

Vacuum dewatering method, finishing the surface smooth with mechanical power trowel all complete as directed by engineer incharge. Necessary groove cutting shall be done as per IFC drawings. Including filling with joints between panels sealed with suitable Polyurethane sealant as per manufacturer specification.

Expansion joints- Non FIM Items

Supplying and fixing in position 25mm thick BITUMEN IMPREGNATED FIBRE BOARD conforming to IS:1838 of approved quality in expansion joints at all locations and levels in concrete structures etc. all complete as shown, specified and directed.

Exposed aggregate plaster using 4/6/8 mm granite aggregate or natural stone chips over cement paste of 4mm thickness including base plaster of 12mm thickness minimum. with cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement,5 sand) .The granite aggregate should be applied to uniform texture to the exterior faces of walls in strip panels or bands with necessary grooves to detail.
