Material & labour for surface Preparation: The surface to receive the treatment shall be thoroughly free of laitance, scales, oil or any other loose material. It should be made free of any sharp objects. Cleaning of PCC shall be done with wire brushing to attain smooth levelled surface. Cracks shall be rectified, filled using dual shrinkage compensated Repair Mortar and dried for 72 hours before laying the liquid applied membrane. Grout: Providing Chemical injection treatment in the form of pressure grouting to the construction joint and cracked portion at 1m c/c by injecting cement slurry mixed with dual shrinkage compensated cementitious grout Injection grout additive, in the required consistency through the pre fixed PVC nozzles in the 18 mm dia holes, fixing of PVC nozzles with instant setting cement. Angle fillets/Coving: Providing and making of fillet, 50mm x 50mm on sharp corner of terrace with cement sand polymer mortar (add “multipurpose mortar”, 10% by weightofcement). First apply the bonding coat of Multi-Purpose Polymer 5-10% diluted in water and add to cement slurry. Apply the bonding slurry and apply the polymer mortar over the sharp edges.

Note: Grouting will be done when and where ever required. Treatment of pipe entry points: Preparing the inside surface of core and PVC /MS Pipe by roughening using suitable Sand paper to get better adhesion prior to packing works. Cleaning the surface by wire brushing followed water jet to remove any laitance or loose flaky particles. Packing the gap using free flowable non shrink cement polymer based grout up to the surface of the bore while the bonding agent is in tacky state. the periphery of PVC pipe should be sealed with Hybrid PU Sealant or dual shrinkage compensated Micro concrete Note: Will be done when and where ever required Application of Asian Paints two component Epoxy Primer (Resin & Hardener) on the cleaned surface for bonding of Polyurethane with the existing concrete surface. 33 % water dilution is recommended with the pure mixed primer. The primer mixing ratio will be 1:3(Resin:Hardner) Supplying, providing and applying waterproofing treatment to Podium area with single component highly elastomeric seamless cold applied modified PU coating complete as per manufacturer’s specifications and application methodology. The same coating shall be applied in two coats achieving a total thickness of 1mm. The coating shall have a dual combination of 280% elongation. Material coverage 1.2kg /sq.mt. Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick, burried directly in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 meter deep below ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 metre below ground level, steel earth plate connected with earth lead wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washer of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical palte No 5 connected to earthing test points all as described in MES schedule Part I including excavation, earth work concrete pit with 50mm thick RCC cover in RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 duly reinforced with MS bars 6mm dia @ 150C/C both ways and pit chamber in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 with 2 Nos suitable lifting handles of 12mm MS bar and GI protection pipe of 20mm dia and watering pipe 20 mm dia with water funnel with wire mesh, test point and extra length up to 7.5 mtr(beyond 7.5 mtr will be measured seperately). Connected to main switch board all as specified. Note:- On testing after completion if desired earth resistance is not obtained,the earthing will be redone at no extra cost..
