Providing & Fitting of 200mm dia D.I. Non-Return Valves to the 200mm dia rising main. The job further includes Providing & Fitting of matching flanges as per Table 17 for fitting of valves as per IS-6392 and steel Nuts and bolts as per IS-1364-2002 and gaskets as per IS-638/79 for fitting valves. as per Annexure A

Providing, fitting, testing and commissioning of Dismantling Joints suitable for 200 MM diameter rising main. The joint is to be provided to facilitate expansion / contraction and easy dismantling of the rising main. The joint shall be capable of absorbing 25MM elongation and 25MM contraction (total of 50MM) of rising main. The outer surface of the inner portion of joint (male part) and the inner surface of the outer portion (female part) which shall make contact with each other are to be machined in order to make sure that the contact is perfect and movement of these portions is easy.

Manufacture, Supply, installation and testing on load 03 Ton capacity Sump Gantry . The job comprises of the following process and involvement of materials. Specifications: 1) Capacity …………………………….. 03 Ton 2) Length of beam of sump gantry……9500mm 3) Height of vertical posts………………5000mm Column Supports for Sump Gantry: Fabrication, Providing and Fitting of 02No. column supports for the sump gantry. The column supports shall have to be installed at two sides of intake sump on which the I- beam of the sump gantry shall rest. The column supports shall be fabricated out of 200mm dia. 7mm thick MS pipe(To be provided by the Deptt) and fitted with necessary channel iron steps for climbing. The height of each MS post shall be 5000mm. The column supports shall be grouted in cement concrete block of 1:2:4 mix up to a height of 600mm. The column supports shall xxbe provided /welded with M.S plates from top and bottom of 300x300x10mm. The upper plate shall be drilled with 4No. of holes so that the plate of column and the plate of I-beam shall be joined together with the help of nuts and bolts and welding as well. Main I- beam of sump Gantry: One No. I beam of size of ISMB-250 shall have to be laid horizontally on the vertical column supports. The two ends of the I beam shall have to be provided with MS plate of size 300x300 mm and 10 mm thick by way of welding. The plates are to be also drilled with 4No. of holes as same of plates of vertical supports and shall be joined with each other with the help of nuts and bolts and welding as well. Movement: The sump gantry comprises of hoisting of chain pulley block of 03 Ton capacity on one No. travelling mono rail of 03 Ton capacity with providing/Fitting of steel wire rope and U clamp. The make of the chain pulley block and mono rail shall be of indeff with ISI mark. The sump gantry shall be painted with steel primer and two coats of enamel paint of yellow shade for I beam and black shade for vertical supports.

Fabrication, providing and installation of MS working plate form over the cutout in sump. The job comprises of the following process . Specifications: 1) Length of plate form………….9500mm 2) Width of the plate form………1500mm Providing/fitting/laying of Two pieces 100 mm MS channels of 9500mm length each and its laying horizontally at equal spacing on the existing cement concrete walls of the sump. Providing/fitting with welding MS channels in between the two channels for its bracing and strengthening at a distance of one meter form centre to centre. The size of the bracing channels shall be ISMC 100x50mm. the channels shall be welded properly with Longitudinal channels to make it rigid plate form. Providing and cutting as per size with oxyacetylene gas MS chequered plate having 6mm thickness of size 9500x1500mm and to be welded with channel section of the platform. After fixing of the chequered plate on the I beams, cutting of 2 No. openings for accommodating suction pipes of the pumping unit through the chequered platform. The openings shall also be fabricated with the same channel as used with bracing. The openings shall have window type frames fitted with hinges and handles and to be in two halves. The complete plate form shall have to be painted in one coat of steel primer and with two coats of enamel paint of black shade.
