TWD SIDING PIPELINE PAINTING

Desur Depot, located approximately 15 km from Belgaum town, covers an area of 26.93 acres and caters to the demand of 10 districts in Karnataka: Dharwad, Haveri, Belgaum, Vijayapura (Bijapur), Bagalkot, Bidar, Kalburgi (Gulbarga), Raichur, Koppal, and Gadag. Following a recent OISD audit , the audit team made observations regarding the maintenance and identification of pipelines, recommending improvements in the overall visual and protective coating of the pipelines. Specifically, the recommendation focused on applying a durable and corrosion-resistant paint to ensure pipeline identification, proper surface protection, and compliance with safety standards. To address this, it has been decided to undertake the painting work for the decantation pipelines (HSD,ATF, MS) at the TWD siding area. The scope of work includes Scrapping, cleaning, priming, painting, and applying necessary markings and directional indicators.The project is expected to be labor-centric and must be executed as per the availability of materials and local conditions at the siding. The work involves the application of high-quality aluminium paint, surface preparation, and the required safety and compliance measures.
