Disconnectiong existing defective electric motor of any make, 3 to 5 HP from electric mains isolating the naked connections, removing from foundation by unscrewing the nuts, bolts etc, discouple from pump, opening of motor for inspection in presence of Engr-in-Charge & carry out minor repairs at site, re-assembling the motor after repair, refixing in position, re-connecting same as prior including replacement of nuts, bolts washers of suitable size, testing and commissioning as and when required complete all as specified and directed. Note : (a) Replacement of defective parts shall be measured and paid separately as S & F here after. (b) In case of major repairs not possible at site, the motor shall be shifted to contractor’s wksp, and cost of shifting to wksp and back to site included in the rates.

Taking out defective monoblock/centrifugal pump set of single/three phase upto 5 HP, any type, make by unscrewing the foundation bolts, disconnecting from water connection, and disconnecting from electric motor, opening for inspection in presence of Engr-in-Charge as and when required and carry out minor repair at site, in case of major repair/replacement of parts not possible at site, the pump shall be shifted to contractor's workshop on his own cost, and re-fixing, re-connecting in position, testing and commissioning complete including replacement, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Laying only in trenches the old serviceale CI/DI pipes with socket and spigot ends complete with all fittings after cleaning thoroughly and removal of all blockages by using splitted bamboos /steel rod effectively complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Pipes taken up /obtained from item No. 13) for the following size / bores of pipes (150 mm dia) Note : Joints and CI fittings shall be measured and paid for separately.

Surface excavation or surface dressing in hard/dense soil, not exceeding 30 cm deep average 15cm deep for cleaning the pump house area and all area by cutting the unwanted bushes/vegitation growth in and around the area of installations/around the valve pit chamber/along the pipe line routes if reqd etc, all as directed by Engr -in-charge

S&F in repairs CI/DI specials like collar, Tees, Socket, bend taper etc., suitable for CIDI pipes of sizes upto 150mm bore

All as per item No.14 above but CI/DI pipes of sizes 200mm to 300mm bore

Run lead joint including all necessary, jointing material (old recovered lead from the leaking joint shall not be reused) for the size of pipe (250mm dia)

Cutting the bituminous road of any description to a size n.exc 0.45 x 0.45m for crossing of pipe and making good with cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate all as specified and as directed.
