Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area n. exc 400 sqm & depth exc 50mm & n exc 100 mm all as specified and directed.

M&L 50 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM for disturbed portion of road with coarse aggregates (lime/sand stone, flint or quartzite) of grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient, camber and super elevation required to match with existing surface rolled with 8-10 ton power roller complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per Ser item No 2.00 above but except material.

Repair to pot holes any depth n.exc 1.00 sqm each incl sweeping free from dust and mud, or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth making good by applying a tack coat with bituminous primer at 5.00 Kg per 10 Sqm , putting in premixed as spd for thin bituminous carpet (3 cm thick) well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat 6.80 Kg binder with 0.06 cum of sand again well ramming (including supply of premix binder and sand) depth of pot holes n.exc 30mm all as specified and directed.

M & L for Premix bituminous, macadam ( consolidated) thickness 75 mm or less with 4.0 % binder content(paving bitumen VG-30) by weight of total mix laid with self propelling mechanical paver rolled and compacted by 10 to 12 tonne roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Preparing to WBM surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc & applying evenly a priming tack coat of paving bitumen VG-10 @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specefied and directed.

M&L for laying bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness, with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix (using paving bitumen of VG-30) laid/spread uniformly by means of mechanical paver and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specefied and directed.

Preparing of existing black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud and bushes near road side etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc & applying evenly a priming tack coat with bituminous primer VG-10 @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm & laying bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix (using paving bitumen of VG-30) laid/spread uniformly by means of mechanical paver and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specefied and directed.

M&L for painting of lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc. on road/pavement and the like using reflective thermoplastic paint for a dry 2.5 mm thick @ 5kg/sqm, binder contents 18% min, glass 30-40%, titanium dioxide 10.0% min. CaCos and inert fillers 42.0 max, including preparation of old/new surface complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F in replacement of dual directional reflective cat eye of size 100mm x 100mm of impact resistance ABS plastic stud having ultra violet resistance colour with plastic strip containing 31 mini retro reflective glass beads of colour white/red/yellow to each side and fixed with 12mm dia 120mm long zinc plated steel nails at the centre of cat eye by hammering complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- charge.

S&F in replacement Solar road stud 125mmx125mmx25mm made from aluminium alloy and consctruction powered by mono crystal solar panel with high capacity Ni-Cd rechargeble battery having view distance 1000 meters LEDs-10mm, 6 pieces for high brightness, 12 hours of continuous lighting at night complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement Retro reflective informatory signage and boards, made up of 2mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity and encapsulated lence type heat activated retro reflective sheeting confirming to type-III of ASTMD-4596-01, letters, borders, etc as per IRC:67-2001 in silver white with blue colour background and with high intensity grade pasted on substrate by pressure sensitive adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying pressure confirming to class-II of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same to the plate of structural frame work by means suitable sized aluminium alloys, rivets or bolts & nuts @ 300 mm c/c all along the periphery complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : Size of PCC block for embedding framework shall be 30cmx30cmx30cm and cost of PCC incl necessary earthwork and framework for signage boards shall be included in the unit rate of this item.

S&F in replacement solar delineators (1000x47mm) made out of polycarbonate and toughened aluminium body fitted with high intensity retro reflector in yellow / red colour fitted on CRCA pipe 47 mm dia and 60 cm long powder coated or stove enamelled white / black colour provided with steel wire mesh made up in to cage for sefety of reflector and embedding the same in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Size of PCC block for embedding delinator shall be 30cmx30cmx30cm and cost of PCC shall be included in the unit rate of this item.
