Supplying, laying, jointing and testing XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty, electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 10 Sqmm x 4core in trenches /along poles/on wall etc and including taking down of existing Under Ground cable from trenches/ along wall/pole etc, taking down of existing Under Ground cable from trenches/ along wall/pole etc, complete all as specified and as directed Notes for item No 1. : (i) Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning, protection covers shall be measured and paid for separately. (ii) Unless otherwise directed by the GE, the cable shall be procured by the contractor in single length (as manufactured) to meet the actual length of cable as required at site. However, for payment purpose, the length actually ordered & laid shall be measured and paid for. (iii) Cable jointing kit will be measured and paid seperately. However cost of jointing and jointing materials like thimbles etc of cable with busbar etc shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate of above item.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for laying of under ground cables/ pipes and not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan & 1.5 metre in depth for poles/independent holes etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm thick in layers, complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Coarse River Sand cushioning in trenches for cushioning of underground cable including spreading, levelling, well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm in thickness, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Only punned thickness of 18cm shall be measured & paid

Material and labour for well burnt Sub-class 'B' old size bricks, best quality locally available laid flat, dry in trenches for cable protection, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing GI tubing, light grade, 80mm bore for protection of cable under road crossing, across drain, along electric pole or floor /wall etc, incliding taking out existing pipe, complete all as specified and directed. Note for Item No. 12 : Excavation & Earthwork and/or boring/drilling for laying/passing of tubing under road etc shall be measured & paid for separately.

Boring (horizontally) using ultrasound technique and necessary machine for passing 80mm bore pipe for protection of the cable at approx 0.5 to 2 metre depth in soil below existing road, pavement, hard standing etc without damaging the existing surfaces, getting out & disposal of soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre from the site of work, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Cost for provision of pipes & cable not included in the scope of above item.

Supply, jointing and testing in repairs cable jointing kit for 1.1 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through joint complete with and including jointing materials and accessories suitable for 1.1KV XLPE insulated armoured aluminium cable of size 150 to 185 Sqmm 3.5 core, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, jointing and testing in repairs cable jointing kit for 1.1 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through joint complete with and including jointing materials and accessories suitable for 1.1KV XLPE insulated armoured aluminium cable of size 70 to 120 Sqmm 3.5 core, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for broken stone or boulders hardcore of gauge n. exc 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n.exc 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface, complete all as specified and directed.

Surface dressing not exceeding 15 cm deep in soft/ loose soil including site clearance near the 2/4 pole structures GODs and various unmanned electric sub stations inside outside of premises including spreading thin layer of anti vegetation chemical to prevent abnormal growth of grass/bushes complete all as specified and as directed.

Cuttting / trimming of tree branches in close proximity to over head lines to maintain a clearance of 1.50 metres from the over head line to nearby trees, complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Only effected Length of over head conductor (length of only one conductor for the effected area) shall be measured as per Running Meter for payment purpose .

M&L repairs to existing LT panel / bus bar chamber / feeder pillar box of size not less than of 1000 x 1000 x 500 mm by excavation of all loops and removing damaged UG cable, connecting new thimbles / lugs / cable glands and fixing of new neoprene rubber gasket to make it completely dust and vermin proof, fixing of new locking arragement and replacement of LT panel wiring with appropriate size of copper conductor, repairing of rusted parts of panel frame and shutter with necessary welding works including preparation and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on both internal and external surface of panel, PCC (1:3:6) type C2 (using 40mm crushed stone aggregate) work in foundation complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of old rusted steel exposed surfaces of LT swaged poles of 9m length, cross arms, brackets etc mounted on poles, applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint upto 0.8 metre height as per the existing pattern above the P.C.C coping & one coat of aluminium paint beyond 0.8 metre height (for the remaining exposed surfaces) of the poles as well as on the exposed surfaces of cross arms, brackets etc mounted on the poles, re-writing pole numbers and cutting vegetation growth all around the poles upto 1 metre radius, including replacement of self adhesive fluorescent colour tape as per existing pattern and size, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of old rusted steel exposed surfaces of 2 pole structure of 9/11m length, cross arms, brackets etc mounted on poles, applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint upto 0.8 metre height as per the existing pattern above the P.C.C coping & one coat of aluminium paint beyond 0.8 metre height (for the remaining exposed surfaces) of the poles as well as on the exposed surfaces of cross arms, brackets etc mounted on the poles, re-writing pole numbers and cutting vegetation growth all around the poles upto 1 metre radius, including replacement of self adhesive fluorescent colour tape as per existing pattern and size, complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting of existing cable of size 95 sqmm to 400 sqmm from panel, taking out and rerouting the cable through cable tray complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of unserviceable LT/HT panels after disconnecting of all cables, earthing connection etc. from existing location and deopsite to MES store yard, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Cost of transportation is deemed to be included in unit quoted rate.

M&L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of size 20X3 mm copper strip fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or burried in ground or drawn in existing conduit / pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc including dismantling of existing one, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of size 32X6 mm galvanized iron strip fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or burried in ground or drawn in existing conduit / pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc including dismantling of existing one, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs manual changeover switch I-O-II type operation 400 Amp rating 415 volt, with extended shaft and IP65 piston type handle suitable for fixing in LT panel, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground in vertical position (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead of GI strip 32x6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, complete all as shown in Electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR Part-1 and connected to earthing test point and including dismantling of old one, complete all as specified and directed. Note: The unit rate shall also include for earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 chamber, RCC 1:1.5:3, type A1 cover slab, 50 mm thick reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bar @ 140 mm C/C both ways, 10 mm dia plain bar lifting handle embedded in cover slab, 20 mm bore medium grade GI watering pipe, 40 mm bore GI medium grade earth lead rotection pipe, funnel, wire mesh, copper lugs, charcoal and common salt in alternate layer etc.

Supply, installing, testing & commissioning of LT panel board, "out-door type" of size 800 mm (height) x 800 mm (breadth) x 500 mm (depth) (minimum dimensions), factory fabricated out of 3.15mm thick CRCA sheet duly pre-treated & powder coated, supporting frame upto height 0.6m and made out of 40x40x5mm angle iron & MC 100mm in base, double door, front & back openable, 4 side slanting canopy on roof top, the panel shall be having ventilation facility with provision of louvers for better heat dissipation, CPRI type tested with suitable neoprene rubber gasket to make it completely dust & vermin proof & degree of protection not less than IP-55 & general construction confirming to IS-13947, the panel shall be accomoded with & including tinned double Aluminium bus-bar wrapped with coloured PVC sleeves of rating in conformity to the Incoming MCCB rating, the panel shall be suitable for 3 Phase, 4 wire system 415/440 volts grade including provided with complete internal wiring with not less than 2.5 sqmm copper conductor wire (with & including cable glands of suitable sizes), also including providing PCC 1:3:6 (type-C2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregates) as in foundation, plateform, necessary excavation & earth work and also provided with the following accessories/ components/items :- BUS BARS AND INTERNAL CONNECTIONS : The bus-bars shall be made up of 04 Nos aluminium conductor 500 Amps rated, duly insulated with 1100 Volts grade standard colour coded PVC sleeves & rigidly mounted on suitable sized "F" class insulators, non-hygroscopic, non-combustible, all internal connections from main bus-bars to MCCB's etc. PROVISION FOR CABLE ENTRY/EXIT : Provision for cable entry/exit shall be provided in the bottom of panel for both incoming & out-going cables. INCOMING: MCCB 415 Volts, 4 pole (Ics = 100% Icu) with thermal magnetic release, adjustable short circuit & adjustable overload setting having breaking capacity36 KA of rating 320 Amps: 01 No and provision of 04 Nos outgoing cubicals with busher connection suitable for 100 Amp, 4 Pole, MCCB with fixing arrangements.
