SH : I : EARTH WORK.

Surface dressing of the ground including removing vegitation and in equalities not exceeding 15 cm depth and disposal of rubbies lead upto 50m and lift upto 1.50m.

Earth work in excavation in foundation and trenches etc. in all kinds of soil (excluding soil containing 50% or more of shingle or small size boulders upto 30 cm size, saturated soil and rock), lift upto 1.50 m and stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 m clear from the edge of the excavation and returning the stacked soil in 15 cm layers, when required, into plinth sides of foundation etc consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus soil as directed within a lead of 50m.

Providing and injecting chemical emulsion for pre-construction antitermite treatment and errecting chemical borrier under floor and all round the columns, pillars, walls, trenches, bank not excavation top surface of plinth junction of wall and floor among the external perimetre of building expansion joints, surrounding of pipe and conducts etc. complete.

Re-filling excavated earth in foundations and plinth etc. in 15 cm layer including ramming and watering etc. complete.

SH :- II : CEMENT CONCRETE WORK.

Providing and laying in foundations and plinth cement concrete 1 : 3 : 6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) excluding the cost of centring and shuttering.

Providing and laying damp proof course 38 mm thick with cement concrete 1 : 2 : 4 (1cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 stone aggregate 12.5 mm nominal size).

Applying a coat of hot bitumen (mashphalte 80/100 or equivalent) using 1.70 Kg per Sq.m. on damp proof course after cleaning the surface with brushes and finally with a piece of cloth lightly soaked in kerosene oil.

Extra for providing and mixing water proofing material in cement concrete work in the proportion recommended by manufacturers.

SH : III : R.C.C. WORK

SH : V : WOOD WORK

Providing approved best available local wood (Class B-II) work in frames of doors, windows, clerestory window and other frames, wrought framed and fixed in position.

Providing and fixing flush door shutters, decorative type, core of black board construction with frame of 1st class hard wood and well matched 1st class teak ply veneering with vertical grains or cross bands and face veneers on both faces of shutters. a) 40 mm thick including anodized aluminum butt hinges with necessary screws.

Providing and fixing factory made plastic door shutters, decorative type including door frame, with necessary screws and all fittings as per the direction of Engneer-in-charge.

Providing and laying polished vitrified floor tiles in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorptions less than 0.08% and conforming to IS: 15622 of approved make in all colours and shades, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete. a) Size of Tile 60x60 cm

Providing and laying vitrified tiles skirting over 20 mm (average) thick base laid over joints with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing and polishing complete with cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 sand)..

Providing and fixing 18mm thick gang saw cut mirror polished premoulded and repolished) machine cut for kitchen platforms, vanity counters, window sills, facias and similar locations of required size of approved shade, colour and texture laid over 20mm thick base cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) with joints treated with white cement, mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, including rubbing, curing, moulding and polishing to edge to give high gloss finish etc. complete at all levels. 8.2.2 Granite of any colour and shade. 8.2.2.2 Area of slab over 0.50 sqm.

Construction of cement concrete drain 30 cm wide and 23 cm deep in cement concrete 1 : 3 : 6 (1 cement : 3 sand : 6 hard graded stone chips/shingle 40 mm and down gauge) 8 cm thick on sides and bottom and plastering on all exposed surfaces with 12 mm thick cement mortar1 : 3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) including shuttering complete.

Providing and laying water proofing treatment to vertical and horizontal surfaces of depressed portions of W.C., kitchen and the like consisting of : (i) Ist course of applying cement slurry @ 4.4 Kg/sqm mixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS 2645 in recommended proportions including rounding off junction of vertical and horizontal surface. (ii) IInd course of 20mm cement plaster 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) mixed with water proofing compound in recommended proportion including rounding off junction of vertical and horizontal surface. Providing and fixing structural steel frame (for dry cladding with 30 mm thick gang saw cut with machine cut edges sand stone) on walls at all heights using M.S. square/ rectangular tube in the required pattern as per architectural drawing including cost of cutting, bending, welding etc. The frame work shall be fixed to the wall with the help of MS brackets/ lugs of angle iron/ flats etc. which shall be welded to the frame and embedded in brick wall with cement concrete block 1:2:4 (1 cement :2 coarse sand :4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) of size 300x230x300mm including cost of necessary centring and shuttering and with approved expansion hold fasteners on CC/RCC surface, including drilling necessary holes.
