MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF PUMP HOUSE AND ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS AT TAMULBARI UNDER GE(AF) CHABUA

Outsourcing of services for maintenance and operation of 42 WEU Power house, to operate standby DG sets, Transformers, LT/AMF panels, GODs etc for operating VCBs of incoming, outgoing feeders and including attending of emergency break down. Operation to be carried on all working days including Sundays and holidays round the clock. The details of operation of installations comprising the following works :- (a) Operating of incoming/outgoing VCBs, GOD with DO fuse etc as and when required to maintain the smooth running of electric supply system as well as safe guard of man and materials. (b) Operating of capacitor bank VCBs to maintain power factor as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (c) In case of break down, shut down or tripping of VCBs, immediate information to Engineer-in-Charge shall be conveyed. (d) All the documentation such as log sheets, daily attendance register shall maintain as per procedure in vogueOutsourcing of services for maintenance and operation of attending HT breakdown complaint in technical and domestic area at 42 WEU, and replacing fuses/Jumpers/insulators etc including testing of overhead lines and UG lines for any leakage current by meggaring etc. complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) The breakup of rates to be inserted in items 1.1 to 1.6 below. (ii) All rates quoted below shall be inclusive of GST.

Outsourcing of services for maintenance and operation of water supply installation Pump House No 07 & 08 (42 WEU) regularly by running of pumping sets and Standby DG Set installed adjacent to pump house including their necessary periodical petty maintenance. such as greasing of bearing, gland packing etc and keeping running record of pumping set, DG set LT panels and connected cables, chloropower, granular chlorine dosing system, Air compressor, Operation of control valves & back washing of IR plant, PSOH tanks, incl rising & delivery pipe lines and other accessories installed complete all as specified and directed by the Eng-in-charge. The operation to be carried out on all working days including Sundays and holidays round the clock. Notes:- (i) The breakup of rates to be inserted in items 2.1 to 2.6 below. (ii) All rates quoted below shall be inclusive of GST.

Outsourcing of services for maintenance and operation of MES service centre for attending the No power supply complaints at 42 WEU (Domestic & Tech area) for minimum 10 hrs a day as per schedule (morning and evening incl Sunday/Holiday complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) The breakup of rates to be inserted in items 3.1 to 3.6 below. (ii) All rates quoted below shall be inclusive of GST.

Notes for item Nos 1 to 3:- The qouted rates for item No. 1 to 3 shall includ for the following:- (i) Cleaning of sub-station/pump house premises(inside and outside),upto 6 m of installation removing debries, grass bushes and vegetation upto required standard of inspection point of view daily or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge is the contractors responsibility. (ii) The required stationery, registers , documents etc will be supplied by the firm for each installation all as directed by the engineer in charge from time to time. (iii) The firm is responsible for operating the valves at any position/location/distance. (iv) The contractor is responsible for providing sweeping materials ie Broom etc all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. (v) The contractor is responsible for switching ON/OFF of near by street light switches at all installations as applicable of as directed by Engr-in-charge. (vi) The contractor is responsible to replace burnt out fuse. (Contractor will arrange the fuse wire at his own expense without any extra cost to the dept). (vii) The contractor is responsible to repair for any minor internal defect as required all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. (viii) Necessary LED torch light to be arranged by the contractor for all installation. (ix) Any problems faced in operation of equipments shall immediately be intimated by the operator to the JE E/M in charge of installation and Engr-in-charge. (x) The contractor has to provide necessary tools to the manning staff of each installations. (xi) DHPP & Engine oil will be issued under Sch 'B' to be collected by contractor (xii) Necessary communication instruments shall be provided by the contractor and permission for the same shall be obtained from AF authorities through GE(AF). (xiii) Provision of protective instruments such as earth discharge rod, HT/LT hand gloves, suitable capacity of LED torch/focussing light, tools as required for carrying out the above tasks..fuses, jumpers, grease, petrolium jelly, cotton waste etc. as required to restore supply and general maintenance of the installation. However major item if required during maintenance will be provided by the department free for fixing under sch B.

Notes for item Nos 1 to 3 Contd... (xiv) The contractor is responsible for Water sample collection and testing chemicals testing from approved lab once in 11 month, cost of sample test to be deemed in quoted rate, incl maintenance of log sheet / register/ documents for recording pumping operational hours, voltage, Amperes, frequency etc. on hourly basis complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge. (xv) The contractor is responsible for collection of DHPP, Bleaching powder, Granular chemical, lubrican Oil & Engine Oil from MES store ( to be issued under Sch "B" FREE for MIXING/POURING) on day to day as required basis and pouring there off. Any extra effort/manpower/transportation required. for the same is to be arranged by the contractor. (xvi) Adding Bleaching powder/Altoch GP/Sodium Hypochloride/ Poly aluminium chloride powder as directed by engr-in-charge. (xvii) Operating sluice valves at over head reservoir / tank to supply the water to the users time to time and maintaining the timing as laid down & as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (xviii) Testing of water sample twice in a shift at the out let of test point and recording test result of chlorine content in a register and to be got signed by Engineer-in-Charge and maintaining the consumption of Bleaching powder/Altoch GP/Sodium Hypochloride solution/Poly aluminium chloride powder which will be issued under Sch ‘B’ free for mixing and to collect from MES store yard time to time as & when required. (xix) Proper log sheets for running of the pump & plant to be maintained. (xx) Carry out weekly maintenance of electrical panels installed in pump house and Intimate Engr-in-Charge immediately for any defects /break down/repairs required. (xxi) Carry out tightening of nuts & bolts, replace when required, applying gland packing and greasing, including minor repairs. (xxii) Services are to be provided on all days incl Sundays and holidays by suitably qualified/experienced staff as specified in particular specifications. (xxiii) No installation shall be left unattended at any point of time.

Notes for item Nos 1.1 to 1.6, 2.1 to 2.6 & 3.1 to 3.6:- The bonus is payable only after submission of valid and authentic documents in support of having paid the requisite amount of bonus to the workmen, i.e. proof of payment. Similarly items of contribution towards EPF and Contribution towards ESIC shall also be payable after submission of valid and authentic document in support of proof of payment.
