8703 REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF SUMMER APPLIANCES AND ACS UNDER AGE EM II OF GE SOUTH PUNE

M&L for repair / maintenance of internal electrification through attending day to day complaints for No lights, switches, sockets, fan regulators, lamp holders, call bells, cover plates, hylum sheets, switch boards, ceiling & exhaust fans, MCBs, light fittings of any type and rectifying the defects as required in due time complete all as directed by Engineer-in Charge. Note: (i) The rate quoted shall be deemed to be included the cost of labour for taking down the unserviceable items & re-fixing only of new item and rectifying the defects, with and including minor spares such as insulation tap, thimbles, small pieces of copper cable, screws, washers, nut bolts & T&P etc. required and transportation of man & material to the site. (ii) All necessary spares required such as switches, sockets, fan regulators, lamp holders, call bells, cover plates, hylum sheets, switch boards, fan condensers will be measured and paid separately as supply only in the relevant items here-in after. (iii) Complaints regarding rewiring will be measured and paid separately under relevant items. (iv) The contractor's representative shall report to concerned JE E/M at 0900 hrs daily (including Sunday and Holidays) to collect the list of defects and shall submit the status of rectification of defects before 1700 hrs or before leaving the site on the same day. All defects / complaints excluding rewiring shall be rectified within 48 hrs from handing over the defects/ complaints. Any discrepancies and hurdles (such as door lock, user not available, major repair required, burnt wiring etc.) in this regard shall be reported to JE E/M and Engr-in-Charge in due time. Defects not rectified or delayed deliberately, within stipulated time, if found shall be liable for penal recovery @ twice of the quoted rate of this item and multiplied by number of defects/ complaints delayed by the contractor. (vi). (i) Attending of 10 Nos. of complaints / defects and make it functional shall be measured as one job.

S&F in replacement of Sub main wiring with approved colour coding as per IS with two single core PVC insulated FRLS cable with stranded copper conductor of size with 04 Sqmm nominal cross sectional area,1100 Volts grade, stranded, PVC insulated, unsheathed, copper conductor FRLS- confirming to IS: 694-1990 with and including continuous earth wire of size 2.5 Sqmm nominal cross sectional area, single core, PVC insulated, copper conductor cable and including ISI marked PVC casing caping including fitting in wall etc and connected to common earth dolly making good to walls etc including two coats of white / colour washing / distempering etc to the disturbed surfaces to match the existing complete all as specified & directed. Note :- One meter of PVC casing caping along with two runs of 4 Sqmm wire and one run of 2.5 Sqmm earth wire shall be measured as one unit length

S&F in repairs, Metal plug and socket, 2 pin and earth plug and socket including with 20 Amps, MCB, SP concealed / surface on wall as per site requirement including all cutting holes in or through walls, making good to disturbed surfaces of walls, ceiling etc including applying two coats of white / colour washing / distempering etc as applicable to the disturbed surfaces to match the existing complete all as specified and directed. S&F in replacement MCB SPN 40 Amps, 10 KA, 230 volts, 'C' series complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Servicing / overhauling of split AC with chemical washing process of outdoor unit, cleaning the filter, indoor unit grill, oiling of motor including replacing of defective parts like, blower motor, condenser fan, condenser motor, relay, selector switch, thermostat, compressor, cooling coil, PCB, capacitor and making the appliances functional, complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- (i). Every AC shall be serviced once in contract period. (ii). All spares parts required shall be measured and paid separately. (iii). On call services shall includes attending to any complaint any time of the contract period on receipt of verbal / written complaint from user / JE E/M / Engr-in-Charge. (iv). In case of any complaint is not made functional for whatsoever reason within the specified time limit, an amount of Rs 100.00 per such complaint per day will be recovered from the amount due to the contractor through RAR / Final Bill. (v). Servicing / overhauling of 01 No. AC complete in all respect and make it functional shall be measured as one job.
