SUB HEAD-1 DISMANTLING

Dismantling/removing of existing Alluminium/ M.S. glazing/window/ ventilator (fixed/ openable) alongwith M.S. hold fasts embedded in cement concrete and hoop iron bars from the wall/ between the columns etc. including removing of glass panes and returning to the stores as directed including finishing the broken surface to match with the existing as per site requirement complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Dismantling/removing existing Alluinium/ Steel/wooden Doors/windows/cub board alongwith door clousers and with chowkhats by making recesses in walls when the wall is not to be dismantled or with welding set and returning to the stores as directed including finishing the broken surface to match with the existing as per site requirement complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Dismantling of existing Brick work/ tile masonry in cement mortar, as per actual site conditions/ requirements, finishing the broken surface to match with the surrounding, removing the debris etc. from site of work to dumping ground/yard - approved by the M.C., Mohali , Including cutting the reinforcement if any and cleaning & stacking of dismantled bricks and bats for re-use in new work, complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C. NOTE:- I.Recovery of dismantled bricks to be reused will be made @50% of quantity of dismantled brick work as per provisions of CSR-2010 and premium list, applicable at the time of tender. II. Recovery of dismantled brick bats to be reused, will be made @ of 50% quantity of dismantled brickwork as per provisions of CSR-2010 and ceiling premium, applicable at the time of tender.

Dismantling of reinforced cement concrete for all types of R.C.C. work including cutting of reinforcement and finishing the broken surface to match with the surrounding and removing the debris from site of work to dumping ground/yard - approved by the M.C., Mohali ,as directed by the E-in-C.

Dismantling of existing terrazo flooring and skiriting of all thickness excluding base coarse, complete in all respects, including removing the debris from site of work .

Dismantling of vetrified /glazed tiles (to be carefully removed) flooring, skirting and dado to at any height including cleaning of surface and disposal of debries from site of work to dumping ground - approved by the M.C., Mohali as directed by the E-in-C.

Dismantling of existing Tile Terracing from the roof, including mud phuska and mud plaster of all thicknesses, as per existing/actual site conditions/ requirements including cleaning of RCC slab surface with wire brushes etc. and removing the debris etc. within site/campus, cleaning and stacking of dismantled brick tiles and bats to be deposited to the stores of Milk Plant, Mohali complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C. NOTE:- I.Recovery of dismantled brick tiles to be reused will be made @75% of quantity of dismantled tile terracing as per rates mentioned in the CSR-2010 + premium list, applicable at the time of tender. II.Recovery of dismantled tile bats to be reused, will be made @ 25% of quantity of dismantled tile terracing as per rates mentioned in the CSR-2010 + premium list, applicable at the time of tender.

Dismantling of existing HCI soil pipes, specials including dismantling of lead joints and returning the same to the stores of Milk Plant, Phase-6, Mohali, as directed including finishing the broken surface to match with the existing as per site requirement complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

b) Urinal pots alongwith autometic flushing cistern and fitting etc. complete job

c) Lavatory suites (wash hand basin) and fittings complete job.

Dismantling/removing (carefully) of existing stainless steel sinks (of any size) alongwith fittings, fixtures and specials etc. , as directed including finishing the broken surface to match with the existing as per site requirement complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Dismantling/scraping of old cement plaster of all thicknesses and any ratio (at any height) including cleaning of surface for re plastering, disposal of debries within campus complete in all respect as directed by the E-in-C.

Dismantling of lean concrete of any ratio and removing the debris within campus as directed by the E-in-C.

Dismantling of existing Inspection chamber of size as per actual site requirements including RCC top slab, CI cover with frame and returning the servicable material to the stores of Milk Plant, Mohali, complete job as directed by the E-in-C

Dismantling of existing Gully Trap of size as per actual site requirements including RCC top slab, CI cover with frame and returning the serviceable material to the stores of Milk Plant, Mohali, complete job as directed by the E-in-C

Dismantling of existing Katni/Marble flooring and skirting/dado of all thickness excluding base coarse, complete in all respects, including removing and disposal of the debris within campus as directed by the E-in-C.

Dismantling/removing of existing false ceiling consisting of Bison panels, G.I. cradlings and electrical fittings/fixtures and returning the same to the stores with in campus as directed including finishing the broken surface to match with the existing as per site requirement complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

SUB HEAD-2 EARTH WORK

Earth work in excavation for all type of foundations, footings, trenches, lift well etc. in all kinds of soil where pick-jumper work is not involved and not exceeding 2 meters depth including dressing of bottom and sides of trenches, stacking the excavated soil clear from the edge of excavation and subsequent refilling around masonary/concrete etc. in 15cms layers with compaction/ consolidation, including disposal of all surplus soil as directed, within campus / site.

Earth filling under floors/in plinth with surplus soil excavated from foundations (as per above) and taken only from outside the building plinth, in 15cms layers including ramming, watering and consolidating as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth filling under floors with approved earth brought from outside (any lead) and filling in 15cms layers including carriage, loading & unloading, ramming, watering and consolidating, complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and filling in plinth and under floors approved local river sand including carriage loading, unloading, spreading, watering, ramming, consolidating, etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying Anti Termite Treatment using pre constructional chemical treatment measures as per IS-6313-2001 (Part-2) & using Chemical containing chloropyrifos systemic insecticide diluted to manufacturer’s specifications i.e. 1 Ltr. of choropyrifos and 19 ltr. water:- (i)In foundation pits, by treating the bottom & sides up to height of 300mm by uniformly spraying solution @ 5 litre per sqm. (ii)In the refill earth on both sides of all built up walls @ 7.5 litre / Running meter (width -300mm, depth -450mm).(iii)Before laying the floor, by uniformly sprinkling the top surface of the consolidated earth within the outer perimeter @ 5 litre solution per sqm.

SUB HEAD-3 CENTERING AND SHUTTERING

Providing and fixing steel shuttering for faces of all type of concrete foundations, footings, strips, pedestals, foundation beam, plinth beams (vertical, or battering) and columns etc. Complete in all respects as directed by E-in-C.

a) In foundation and plinth upto ground level

Providing and fixing steel shuttering and centering for RCC columns (square or rectangular). Complete in all respects as directed by E-in-C.

a) upto 4 meters ht. above plinth level.

Providing and fixing steel shuttering and centering for sides and soffits of beam, beams launchings girders bressumers, lintels etc. Complete in all respects as directed by E-in-C.

SUB HEAD-4 CONCRETE WORK

Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:5:10 using concrete mixture volumetric type with stone aggregate (1 cement: 5 coarse sand: 10 stone aggregate 40mm gauge) for all types of foundations, footings, below rafts, extension columns, plinth beams/under floor etc. including spreading, laying, ramming and consolidating as per requirements and curing etc. but excluding centering and shuttering, complete in all respects as directed by E-in-C.

Providing and applying HILTIE arrangement for making necessary holes to inserting steel reinforcement bars in the existing RCC columns, slab etc. and upto required depth for after using “HILTIE” chemical HY-150. Complete as per structrual drawings and to the entire satisfaction of the E-in-C.

a) For 20mm dia steel reinforcement bars.

b) For 16mm dia steel reinforcement bars.

c) For 12mm dia steel reinforcement bars.

Providing & laying Reinforced cement concrete M-25 mechanically mixed using batch type concrete mixture as per IS 1791 and vibrated by needle vibrator but excluding steel reinforcement, centering and shuttering, for all types of RCC works i.e. column, footings, strips, pedestals, tie beams & plinth beams etc. as per structural drawings/ design including laying, spreading, ramming, watering, consolidating &curing etc., Complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.In foundation and upto plinth level

Providing and laying 40mm thick damp proof course with machine mixed PCC 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm down) including 2 coats of bitumen (25/85 grade for building works) penetration @ 1.65 kg/M2, laid hot and sanded, bitumen to be applied uniformly and after proper curing of concrete, complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Providing and laying 20mm thick cement plaster in damp proof course 1:3 including 2 coats of bitumen (25/85 grade for building works) penetration @ 1.65 kg/M2, laid hot and sanded, bitumen to be applied uniformly and after proper curing of concrete, complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Providing and laying PCC 1:2:4 screed/leveling course under floors as per site requirements Compete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of E-in-Charge.

Supplying, fabricated, cutting, welding and fixing in position structural steel work consisting of ISMB, ISMC and plates in coloumns and beams etc. as per structural drawings and details etc. including painting with one coat of red oxide and two coats of enamel paint of approved quality and shade. complete in all respects.

SUB HEAD-5 BRICK WORK

Providing & constructing Ist Class burnt brick work laid in cement sand mortar 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand) including scaffolding, watering, curing etc. complete in all respects, as directed by the E-in-C.

a) In foundation and upto plinth level

b) In super structure upto 4 meters ht. above plinth level.

Extra rate for brick work done in additional storey upto 4 meters above the top of structural roof of lower storey as directed by the E-in-C.

Providing & constructing Ist Class burnt brick work - 115mm thick wall without reinforcement course laid in 1:5 cement sand mortar including watering, curing etc. complete in all respects, as directed by the E-in-C.

Providing & constructing Ist Class burnt brick work - 115mm thick wall with evrey fourth course with hoop iron laid in 1:4 cement sand mortar including scaffolding, watering, curing etc. complete in all respects, as directed by the E-in-C.

Extra rate for 115 mm thick brick wall for additional storey upto 4 meters above the top of structural roof of lower storey as directed by the E-in-C.

SUB HEAD - 6 ROOFING

Providing and fixing/embedding PVC rain water pipe 110mm o/d of 6kg. / Sqcm. make DIPLAST/FINOLEX/SUPREME including jointing with solution and providing and fixing necessary specials etc. Complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of E-in-C.

Providing and laying Terracing to proper slope consisting of brick tiles 22.86cm x 11.43cm x 3.83cm laid over 25mm mud plaster, 75mm mud filling on another layer of 25mm mud plaster including two coats of bitumen grade 85/25 laid hot at 1.65kg/M2 on top of RCC slab, including grouting with cement sand mortar 1:4 (1 cement:4 course sand) and top surface to be left clean after wire brushing etc. Complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Extra for providing and applying flush cement pointing 1:2 (1cement: 2 sand) to tile terracing. Including curing etc. Complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:2:4 gola 10cm. X10cm. concave quadrant along junction of roofs with parapet wall, finished smooth where specially specified, complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Providing and constructing Top khurra 0.6M x 0.6M for Rain water pipe in 25mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 over 50mm thick cement concrete 1:8:16, complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Providing and fixing C.I. grating 100mm dia for rain water pipe. Complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Providing and constructing Bottom khurra on ground 1.2M x 0.6M consisting of brick on-edge laid in cement mortar 1:3 over 75mm cement concrete 1:8:16 including 12.5mm thick cement plaster 1:3 complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Providing and laying 2’-6’’ wide plinth protection consisting of 2’-3’’ wide brick on edge laid in cement sand mortar 1:4 on 75mm thick cement concrete 1:8:16 and 100mm thick sand filling and cement pointing 1:2 on top including excavation re-filling and disposal of surplus earth within campus.

SUB HEAD-7 FLOORING AND DADOS

Providing and laying vitrified floor tiles 600x600mm size premium quality, manufactured using double charge Technology, with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS: 15622 of approved make in all colours and shades, laid on 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement :4 fine sand ) for new flooring laid with cement based high polymer modified quick set tile adhesive (water based) of approved make IS 15477 marked using 5 Kg adhesive per sqm of tile area in average 3mm thickness over existing base, including grouting the joints (Tiles to be laid with 2mm to 3 mm gap using spacers and later this gap to be filled with cement based grout) with Cement base grout and matching pigments etc., complete in all respect as directed by the E-in-C. ( Make Johnson / Kajaria/ AGL to be got approved before arranging )

Providing and laying Rectified Porcelain Bathroom wall & floor tiles, size 600mmx1200mm (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) of premium quality conforming to IS:15622 (Make Kajaria/ Johnson/Orient or equivalent approved make) in all colours laid on 20mm thick bed of Cement Mortar 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Fine sand) for new flooring/dado or laid with cement based high polymer modified quick set tile adhesive (water based) of approved make IS 15477 marked using 5 Kg adhesive per sqm of tile area in average 3mm thickness over existing floor, including pointing the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete in all respects add directed by the E-in-C.

Provding and laying machine cut Granite stone 19mm thick of approved shade and required sizes in flooring, counters skirting, treads and risers of steps, dado walls and pillars etc. laid in 12.5mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement 3 coarse sand) and jointed with neat cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of stone, including rubbing and polishing, nosing in steps etc. including labour for fixing dowel pins and cramps. Compete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of E-in-Charge.

Providing and laying Kota stone tile flooring 20mm to 30 mm thick (to be got approved before fixing) over 12.5mm thick base of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement, 3 Sand) laid and jointed with neat cement slurry, mixed with pigment to match the shade of stone including rubbing and polishing, complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Providing and laying Kota stone tiles 20mm thick (to be got approved before fixing) in skirting, risers of steps, dado walls and pillars laid in 12.5mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement 3 coarse sand) and jointed with neat cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of stone, including rubbing and polishing, complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Providing and fixing Ist quality ceramic glazed wall tiles ( 300mmx300mm) conforming to IS : 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacture ) of Johnson make orange colour/dark colour as approved by Engineer‐in‐Charge in skirting, risers of steps and dados over 12 mm thick bed of cement Mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg per sqm including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Providing and fixing wall tiles (600x300mm) (spec. indiacted in the drawings) conforming to IS : 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacture ) of Nitco make- Acrowhite as approved by the Engineer‐in‐Charge in skirting, risers of steps and dados over 12 mm thick bed of cement Mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg per sqm including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Providing and fixing Travertine finish wall tiles (1200x600mm) spection indiacted in the drawings .The tiles to have a layer of travertine stone in 2.5mm thickness with non filled holes as in natural stone. laid as approved by Engineer‐in‐Charge in skirting, dados over 12 mm thick bed of cement Mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg per sqm including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade complete.(Basic rate of tile=230/‐per sft)

Providing and laying 60 mm thick cement concrete interlocking paver block of M-40 grade machine made rubber moulded smooth finish by strong vibratory process or with vibro- hydraulic compaction machine and of approved size and design/shape laid in Ordinary Grey Colour and pattern over and including 40 mm thick complete in all respects as per specifications and to the entire satisfaction of E-In-C.

Providing and fixing UNI-Brick tiles smooth size 230x40mm, 12mm thick (Red Colour) of Unistone or equivalent, clading on walls, (design/make to got approved before arranging) in specified pattern laid in 12.5 mm thick cement sand mortar 1:3(1 cement and 3 sand) and jointed with neat cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of stone tiles , including rubbing and polishing wherever required complete in all respect as directed by the E-in-E

SUB HEAD-8 PLASTERING

Providing and applying cement plaster in cement sand mortar 1:5 (1cement: 2.5 fine sand: 2.5 coarse sand) to the walls, columns etc. including providing groove, drip course, scaffolding, finishing, curing etc. Complete in all respects for all heights as directed by the E-in-C.

a)12.5mm thick for all heights.

b) 20mm thick for all heights.

Providing and applying cement plaster on under side of ceiling 10mmm thick in cement sand mortar 1:4 (1cement: 2 fine sand: 2 coarse sand) including scaffolding, finishing, curing etc. Complete in all respects for all heights as directed by the E-in-C.

SUB HEAD-9 GLAZING

Providing and fixing aluminium work colour coated and approved shade, for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/appropriate z sections and other sections conforming to Is: 733 and IS : 1285 of Jindal, Hindalco, Mahavir or equivalent make approved by Engineer in Charge , fixed with rawl plugs and screws or with fixing clips, or with expansion hold fasteners including necessary filling up of gaps at junctions, at top, bottom and sides with required PVC Plug/neoprene felt etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitered and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing/paneling, C.P.brass/stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-In- Charge. (Glazing and paneling to be paid for separately) :

a) For fixed portion and chaukhats

b) For shutters of doors, windows & ventilators including providing and fixing hinges/pivots and necessary Alumn. fittings wherever required including the cost of PVC Plug / neoprene gasket etc. complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Extra for providing and fixing 12mm thick prelaminated particle board flat pressed three layer or graded wood particle board conforming to IS: 12823 Grade l Type ll, in paneling fixed in aluminium doors, windows shutters and partition frames with C.P. brass / stainless steel screws etc. complete as per architectural drawings and directions of engineer-in-charge. Pre-laminated particle board with decorative lamination on both sides. Complete in all respects as directed by the E-in-C.

Extra for providing and fixing glazing in aluminium door, window, ventilator shutters and partitions etc. with PVC Plug/ neoprene gasket etc. complete as per the architectural drawings and the directions of engineer-in-charge. (Cost of aluminium snap beading is included in the basic item)

a ) Plain/float glass pane of 4 mm thickness.

SUB HEAD-10 INTERIOR WORKS

Providing and fixing of underdecking with thermocol sheets of 50mm thick on roof of Forth floor, before doing the celling work compelte as per drawings, specifications and to the entire satisfications of Architech and E-in-C .

Providing & applying Plaster of Paris (gypsum anhydrous) suspended false ceiling up to any height above floor level, including fixing of frame work made of special sections, power pressed from M.S. sheets and galvanized with zinc coating of 120 gms/sqm (both side inclusive). Consisting of angle cleats of size 25 mm wide x 1.6 mm thick with flanges of 27 mm and 37mm, at 1200 mm centre to centre, one flange fixed to the ceiling with dash fastener 12.5 mm dia x 50mm long with 6mm dia bolts. Other flange of cleat fixed to the angle hangers of 25x10x0.50 mm of required length with nuts & bolts of required size. The other end of angle hanger fixed with intermediate G.I. channels 45x15x0.9 mm running at the spacing of 1200 mm centre to centre, to which the ceiling section 0.5 mm thick bottom wedge of 80 mm with tapered flanges of 26 mm each having lips of 10.5 mm, at 450 mm centre to centre. This shall be fixed in a direction perpendicular to G.I. intermediate channel with connecting clips made out of 2.64 mm dia x 230 mm long G.I. wire at every junction, including fixing perimeter channels 0.5 mm thick 27 mm high having flanges of 20 mm and 30 mm long, the perimeter of ceiling fixed to wall/partition with the help of rawl plugs at 450 mm centre, with 25mm long dry wall screws @ 230 mm interval and reinforced with rabbit wire mesh of 100mmx16mm gauge fixed to it. complete in al respect.

Providing and fixing open cell ceiling of Armstrong or equivalent approved make of.016" thick metal of panel size 24"x24"x1.5" blade height and 9/16" blade width and interior cell of size 4"x4" in powder coated surface finish of approved color as directed by E in C. complete in all respect . (Basic Rate of 2x2 Panel upto Rs.340/sqft) .

The trim width shall be 69 mm and the thickness of panel after fitting the tiles on frame is should be 65mm (+/- 1.5 mm). Height of the Panels shall be 1190mm. The framework shall be a welded rectangular frame made up of 2 vertical sections welded to horizontal tube at the top and C-channel at the bottom, along with intermediate horizontal members which shall fit into vertical members slots, to accommodate cladding tiles of different heights, and to form a rigid structure. The finish will be powder coated in standard neutral color. The vertical sections shall be made up of 1.5mm thick CRCA MS grade D (as per IS: 513-1994) formed into C channel of 41.5 X 50MM. The uprights shall have the rectangular slots to carry wires, 1 no. at the bottom & 2nos. at the intermediate levels, of size 60mm (H) x 18mm (w). The pitch for mounting the brackets shall be 25.4mm. Top horizontal shall be 1.2 mm thick MS tube of 25.4 x 25.4 mm (1 x 1 inch). The bottom horizontal shall be 1.5mm thick C-channel, of MS CRCA Grade D, size 38.1mm x 25.4mm (1 ½ in x 1 in). The bottom horizontal shall also have 2 slots for carrying wires, which will be of size 100mm (L) x 20mm (w). The panels shall have levelers made out of nylon studs with screw insert with adjustment of +10mm. Exposed vertical and top edges of panels shall be covered with trims and top caps. Trims shall be of 69 mm W X 10.5 mm H and average wall thickness of 1.0 mm. These trims shall be made from Powder coated aluminum alloy (of grade He-9 – 63400) extrusions. The trims shall be fitted on the top horizontal using M6 X 35L Nut-bolts and the open vertical ends of the upright using M6 X 25L Bolt & Nut. The caps shall be made of ABS material, PU coated in color desired or matching to trim color. Tiles above worktop shall be Fabric Magnetic type made up of 0.6mm thick GI sheet metal tiles upholstered with Fabric. Tiles below work surface shall be plain metal tiles of thickness 0.6mm mild steel CRCA grade as per IS-513-1994. Metal fascia shall be powder coated, in 0.8 mm thick M.S. CRCA Grade D as per IS: 513 -1994, which will be mounted with a hook at bottom and Snap fit button on top (BLACK). These can be provided at the bottom level as well as at the beltline level above or 6” below the worksurface. The fascia could be with or without cutouts for mounting of switches. Work top shall be made of 25mm thick pre-laminated particle board interior grade (As per IS: 12823).

Bottom shall have a backing laminate of minimum 0.6mm thickness. All the edges of work surface shall be provided with machine pressed 2 mm thick PVC Edge band glued with hotmelt EVA glue. The side panel shall be made from 25 mm thick. PLT particle board (As per IS:12823) and it is edge banded all over with machine pressed 2 mm thick PVC lipping glued with hotmelt EVA glue. The side panel shall be fitted with M6 Glide screw for height adjustment. The work surfaces shall be mounted on the New 13” inch work surface bracket of 2.0mm thick M.S. A corner bracket shall be used to support the work surface at the corner junction of the frames. Side panels will be attached to the upright using the side panel brackets. All M.S. components shall undergo 2 stage single chemical spray phosphate pre-treatment which is environment friendly. Greenguard Certification copy of the modular workstation shall be submitted along with tender. 1 metal Key board tray, 1 metal CPU Trolley & 1 free standing 3 drawer metal pedestal of size 390 W x 435 D x 646 Ht shall be provided.

a) Workstation size W 1500 X D 600 With wire manager hole.

b) Workstation size W 1200 X D 600 With wire manager hole.

) Workstation size W 900 X D600 With wire manager hole.

General Notes:- 1 . Item wise rates shall be quoted by the tenderers based on the specifications mentioned in the DNIT/Scope of work/ latest edition of the Punjab P.W.D. specifications supplemented with relevant I.S. code including subsequent Addenda and Corrigenda issued from time to time . 2. In case of works below ground level like basement of buildings and public health works such as sewers, disposal works etc, the rates upto a depth of 4 metres below ground level, shall be the same as for work in 2nd storey. For depths greater than 4 metres, additional rates for subsequent storeys shall be added. For works which are not deeper than 1.5 metres from ground level, ordinary rates for works in foundation and plinth shall apply. 3. Measurement of centering and steel shuttering work where not included in the complete rate of concrete work shall be taken of the actual surface of steel shuttering in contact with the concrete surface. 4. Coarse sand to be used for concrete work, brick work etc. shall be as per Punjab PWD Specification No. 3.30. 5. All items are inclusive of cost of curing wherever required and protecting in bad whether conditions. 6. Holes or zaris in the brick/RCC work for pipes shall be kept or the pipes shall be provided at the time of raising of masonry/RCC. These holes and zaris should be made good after fixing of pipes and nothing extra shall be paid for such jobs. 7. The quantities mentioned in the schedule of quantities are only approximate, based on preliminary conceptual drawings/sketches and design/details and are meant-primarily to form a common basis for tender analysis. Actual quantities may vary from the quantities given in the schedule and no extra claim of the contractor shall be entertained on this account.
