Excavation in Earth work in all heights and depths in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rocks by all means including Haulage of surplus earth by all modes of transportation within all lead and lifts at dumping site to be arranged by the contractor. The rock cutting by blasting or by other means shall be carried out by taking necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side roak, the work shall be executed with chiseling, wedging out roack (where blasting is prohibited. All earth work in excavation shall be carried our true to line, grade, level, side slope width, as known on the drawing or as directed by the Engineer-Incharge. in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Road 1603.1 and 1603.2 of General conditions for Contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and staking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut material inspecified manner, tremming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-In Charge for smooth riding The recovery of stone, wether useful or not for 77.76 cubic meter in all cases falling which recovery @ Rupees 300/- only (Rupees Three hundred only) per cubic meter shall be effected on prorata basis. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. Providing and laying 30mm thick bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG-10 @ minimum 5.50 per cent of mix and filler, 0.1% (Zycotherm) equivalent by wight of bitumen transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification 2013 clause No. 507 including all incidental charges for construction of earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge including carriage of all labour equipmens and materials to various location of site through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts, including all incidental charges.
