Concave fillet in PCC (1:2:4) type B0 of radius 75 mm shall be provided at the junctions of RCC slab and adjoining walls. (d) M&L .Floor and side walls upto the finished floor level shall be plastered with 15 mm thick CM (1:4) mixed with water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement. Over plastered surfaces, M&L for applyin evenly two coats of industrial bitumen 85/25 at the rate of 1.20 Kg/Sqm in each coat over vertical surfaces and floors of sunken floors of toilet including cleaning of surfaces a layer of APP based polymeric membrane not less than 3mm thick, weighing not less than 3 kg per sqm, reinforced with polyster non- woven fabric (weighing not less than 150 gm per square metre) shall be laid by torch application. Side overlaps shall be 100mm and the ends laps shall be 150 mm and overlap joints shall also be sealed by torch application. (e) The sunken portion shall be filled with lean cement concrete (1:5:10), type E2 using 40 mm brick aggregate after carrying out satisfactory testing of CI pipes / joints and slabs / walls by filling water for 72 hours.
