Earth work in bulk excavation by manual means in all types of soils over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width) including disposal of excavated earth lead up to 50 meters and lift up to 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer -in-Charge.

Retrieving of the damaged MS pipe from the trench by way of gas cutting, wherever necessary followed by shifting and stacking the same at a designated place inside the garden directed by the Engineer in charge. The Job includes all the tools, tackles, mechanical and manual labours required for the job. (The quantity may increase or decrease at the time of execution)

Supply, installation, testing and successful commissioning MS pipes to be used as rising main of following specifications; Nominal Diameter: 300 mm Thickness: 8 mm Grade: FE 410 The pipes are to be welded from end to end with double row electric welding, (Advani/Adore) electrodes to be used to carry out the job meticulously with extreme precision. The quantity may increase or decrease at the time of execution) The job includes refilling of trench with available material after pipe installation and disposal of surplus material.

Manufacturing, providing and fitting of 300 mm ND MS offset, 8mm thick to be connected to the rising main at different places.

Manufacturing, providing and fitting of 300 – 250 ND MS reducer, 8mm thick to be used at a designated spot in the rising main.

Manufacturing, providing and fitting of 300 mm ND S-bend 8mm thick, not more than 3 m, near the waterfall. The job involves making a suitable side passage in the Deveri stone wall to facilitate the placement of S-bend. The S-bend is to be connected to both the ends of the pipe with double row electric arc welding. The further involves painting of the S-bend with two coats of Red Oxide followed by two coats of paint of approved shade. The job finally involves repairing the Deveri stone wall to make it look like to its original shape.

Manufacturing, providing and fitting of 300 mm ND MS bend, 8mm thick to be connected to the rising main near the gate of the garden by double row electric arc welding.

Dismantling of the 300 mm ND NRV and washout system comprising of Sluice Valve and bend near the gate of Shalimar garden and connecting the washout system to the exposed part of rising main near the divider on the main road. The job involves cutting the pipe with oxy- acetylene gas cutter and welding the available flanges to the pipe with double row electric arc welding followed by fitting the washout system to it at the same place. The job also involves dismantling of the concrete block near the gate of the garden to facilitate the positioning of the pipe followed by laying of the concrete block in M-20 mix at the same place to make the pavement good. The job is inclusive of cutting of the MS grill for laying the concrete block followed by repairing the same with double row electric arc welding to make it look like to its original shape.

Providing, installation, testing and successful commissioning of double flanged, swing type 300 mm ND, Non Return Valve confirming to IS 5312,(part 1) 2004 standard of dimensions, material of construction and constructional features in rising main. The NRV is to be metal-metal seated type arrangement with proven performance, rigid and study design with minimum loss of head across the valve. The valve shall be with perfect interchange ability of components, assured parallelism between side flanges, long service life and leak tightness of high order. The valve shall having following specifications :- Nominal Diameter :300mm Pressure rating of PN16. MOC of body: Ductile iron/Cast steel MOC of Hinge pin: High tensile brass MOC of body ring : Stainless Steel MOC of Disc Face: Stainless steel Acceptable Make VAG/AVK/Talis/CRI/ Sigma Flow or brand having Equivalent specifications,) Test certificate of manufacturer is Mandatory.

Providing, installation testing and commissioning of DN 50 single chamber DI Air release valve in 300 mm ND having pressure rating of PN16 Acceptable Make VAG/AVK/Talis/CRI/Sigma Flow or brand having Equivalent specifications,). The job includes providing and welding of M.S. nipple required for fitting of valve as per the site requirements. Test certificate of manufacturer is Mandatory

Painting the entire replaced / realigned rising main with two coats of red oxide followed by two coats of bitumen paint.
