Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, kerb stones, built in cement mortar or cement-lime mortar, including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc., but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework, and precast concrete articles, complete in all respects as specified and as directed.

Demolition of bricks (laid flat or on edge) or brick tiles in floors, channels, interlocking tiles, aprons, etc. (each layer), laid, bedded, and pointed in any mortar, complete in all respects as specified and as directed.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundations, etc., or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc., not exceeding 10 sq m on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth, and getting out in any type of soil, complete in all respects as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for hardcore of broken brick gauge not exceeding 63 mm, deposited, spread, and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface, complete in all respects as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6, Type C2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate), as in foundation filling and mass concrete, complete in all respects as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for brickwork with Sub-Class ‘B’ old-size burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius, built in cement mortar (1:6), complete in all respects as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for brickwork with Sub-Class ‘B’ old-size bricks (old serviceable bricks obtained from demolition/dismantling items shall be reused), straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius, built in cement mortar (1:6), complete in all respects as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for cement concrete (1:2:4), Type B-2, using 40 mm graded aggregate, as in surface channels and drains, complete in all respects as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for extra for forming fair-finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including formwork, moulds, mitred/stopped ends, etc., complete in all respects as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for old-size bricks, Sub-Class ‘B’, laid flat in floors, bedded and jointed in cement mortar 1:6, and pointed in cement mortar 1:3 as in drains, complete in all respects as specified and as directed.
