Excavation in trenches in hard/ dense soil not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and getting out including dressing/ trimming sides and leveling/ grading and ramming of bottom of excavation complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: excavation shall be done manually by labour. No machine shall be allowed on the site. Contractor shall quote the rate accordingly keeping this aspect in mind.

Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well raming excavated soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing of surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50 mtr and depositing at a level n.nexc 1.5 mtr above starting point where directed complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Sand cushioning to UG cable 8cm thick before laying the cable and 15cm above the cable as specified in SSR to under ground cable including punning down of sand in layer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:(i) Consolidated/ Punned sand thickness shall be considered for purpose of payment. (ii) Sand shall be same as specified for plastering work.

Supply and Laying of bricks well burnt sub class B (old size) laid flat for cable protection width equal to the length of bricks complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing GI pipe, 'light grade' 80 mm bore size, ISI Marked for protection to cable along the pole/ across road crossing/ passing through culvert complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in repair cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through, heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armored aluminium conductor cable of size 50 to 95 Sqmm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in repair cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination, heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armored aluminium conductor cable of size 50 to 95 Sqmm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply, laying, testing and commissioning in replacement of cable HT XLPE insulated, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts grade, cross-sectional area 95 sqmm, 3.0 core confirming to IS specification including taking out existing unserviceable cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Deployment of manpower/ tools/ machinery/ plant for Dehydration/ filtration of transformer oil of voltage grade 11/ 0.433 KV of transformers, of various capacities installed at different locations by disconnecting plants electrically for recirculation existing transformer oil with trolley mounted filtration plant till dielectric strength achieves to min 50 kV when measured at 4mm gap complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Note:- (a) Filtration/ dehydration of transformer oil shall be carried out at the location where transformer is installed with trolley mounted filtration plant and necessary filter/ dehydration plant having pressure gauge, hour meter, temperature gauge to be brought at site by the contractor including electric supply arrangement to run the dehydration equipment and rate deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

M&L for disconnecting electrical connections of transformer of capacity 750 KVA of any make & any type, loading the transformer on heavy vehicle (open chassis) type from existing platform/ four pole structure, by heavy crane long boom type suitable for shifting and loading transformer and transporting of transformer for repair/ rewinding at workshop including unloading of transformer from vehicle at workshop & Opening up transformer step down 11/ 0.433 KV by unscrewing all nuts/ bolts and washers of top cover duly draining out complete transformer oil and kept aside for re-use. Disconnecting of all HT/ LT wiring, tap changer, complete LT/ HT bushing, air breather etc and kept aside for re-use the serviceable parts and removal of unserviceable parts and taking out complete core assembly of transformer with help of chain pully to carry out the following works:-

Note - All T&P, vehicle for transportation of the transformer, crane etc shall be arranged by the contractor and unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of the same.

M&L for replacement of worn out copper strip/ wire/ rod as per existing gauge/ size complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & Fixing in replacement LV Bushing of transformer with Brass metal connecting rod, nut bolt and washer, suitable for 750 KVA capacity of tranaformer 1100 Volt as per IS 3347/ 1967 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & Fixing in replacement of HV Bushing of transformer with Brass metal connecting rod, nut bolt and washer, suitable for 750 KVA capacity of tranaformer 11000 Volt as per IS 3347/ 1967 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement of silica gel crystal complete in all type of capacity of transformer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & Fixing in replacement of cooling fan for 100 KVAr capacity APFC panel with proper connection, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement of MCCB 4 pole, 400 Amps, 36 KA breaking capacity (Ics =100% Icu) with adjustable thermal & fixed magnetic setting, AC 415V complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement of MCCB 4 pole, 200 Amps, 36 KA breaking capacity (Ics =100% Icu) with adjustable thermal & fixed magnetic setting, AC 415V complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement of MCCB 4 pole, 160 Amps, 36 KA breaking capacity (Ics =100% Icu) with adjustable thermal & fixed magnetic setting, AC 415V complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for reparing/ servicing of APFC panel board of Cap 100 KVAr (1X1+ 2X2+ 5X5+ 10X3+ 20X2 KVAR) by replacing the all defective components with new components, rewiring, cleaning, testing, reconnecting, reinstalling and commissioning the APFC panel board complete all as direcetd by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : 1. cables, wires & other minor spare parts etc will deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation to electric poles, struts PCC blocks and fair finish to exposed surfaces without using extra cement etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F of anti-climbing device, spikes type fabricated out of M.S bars (round, square and flat) including nuts, bolts, washers and welding in two halves made to shape to suit the cross section of the pole suitable for PCC/ Steel poles including two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs of Lightening arrestor expulsion type for outdoor use complete with all fitting transmission class discharge capacity 65 KA suitable for 11000 volts including brackets, clamps, nuts and washers and connection complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for fuse barrel assembly upto 25 Amp, ISI marked complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs drop out expulsion type fuse with fuse barrels outdoor HT 11KV, tripple pole mounted on HT 11 KV insulators & MS frame including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer on MS work complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & Fixing in replacement of Air brake Switch, gang operated, triple pole, mechanically operated mounted on HT insulators (12 insulators pin type) and MS galvanised steel frame with operating mechanism operated from ground level with fixed contacts of phosphorous bronze and moving contacts of copper including operating rod for current rating upto 200 Amps, 11000 volts complete with locking arrangement, including 3 Nos drop out explusion type of fuses with fuse barrals of required capacity to suit load at site, also including provision of two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer on MS work complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material & Labour for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth electrode plate of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50m below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron earth strip of size 32 x 6 mm upto test point with suitable GI nuts/ bolts and brazed properly up to main board including earth pit in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1, precast RCC cover in 1:2:4 reinforced with expanded metal, with suitable handle, excavation and earth work in any type of soil and including medium grade GI watering pipe 20mm bore with funnel wire mesh and light grade GI strip protection pipe 15 mm bore up to main board complete as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES schedule Part-I 2009, connected to earthing testing point including taking out existing unserviceable earthing including testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Note - (i) The quoted rate shall be deemed to include the cost of excavation & earth work in any type of soil, charcoal & salt in alternate layers, 20mm GI pipe (medium grade) for watering 40mm GI protection pipe (light grade) funnel wire mesh PCC chamber in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 cast iron frame and 40mm thick RCC cover for pit etc & no extra payment will be made. (ii) Quoted rates shall be deemed to include for earthing wire with protection pipe up to 7.5 M length.

S&F of earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of 32 X 6 mm galvanized iron strip, buried in ground or fixed to wall complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking out existing stone metal aggregate and kept aside for re-spreading after cleaning, removing grass, vegetation etc including levelling the ground, raming & finally spreading aggregrate complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and spread stone metal graded aggregate of size 40 mm at transformer yard complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for painting of the chain link fencing and steel sections with two coats aluminium paint over a coat of aluminium red oxide complete including preparation of old painted surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for trimming off branches of trees touching HT electric over head lines by climbing up tree or using ladder at a height upto 9.5 mtr from ground level and making clear about 3 mtr in radius and removal of waste and depositing where directed not exceeding 50 mtr distance from origin complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for cleaning and preparation of all existing steel surfaces of straight steel tubular poles 11 mtrs long for painting including mild steel cross arms, clamps and street light brackets, MS boxes etc and applying one coat of aluminium paint all round the exposed steel surfaces of existing steel tubular poles of any description and in any position above the height of 1.50 mtr from the plinth of the pole and applying one coat of synthetic enameled paint of different colours in strips of 150mm width upto the height 1.5 mtr from the plinth of pole including writing pole No and other sign works with white paint over black painted base of 150mm dia in the pattern and style as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.
