SPECIAL REPAIRS TO INTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION AND ALLIED WORKS AT APS CHENNAI UNDER GE STM CHENNAI

Taking down copper/aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete, including fixture and fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets, light fitting etc. removing materials to store for keeping in safe custody or for taking credit (credit for above items should be made as per conditions separately) and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors, etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Wiring complete with 1.5 sqmm single core FRLSH PVC insulated unsheathed cable 1100 volts grade, multistranded with copper conductors conforming to IS specifications, drawn through and including non metallic rigid PVC conduit, PVC conduit fittings and conduit accessories or casing capings including accessories fixed on wall / ceiling or concealed on wall, making good disturbed surfaces of walls and fixed on ceiling etc. with suitable clamps, screws, etc. or concealed in wall including terminal boxes fabricated with 1.6 mm MS sheet concealed in walls covered with plastic laminated sheet top cover 3 mm thick fixed with cadmium plated iron screws for housing the switches, switch sockets outlets, fan regulators, etc., including provn of 1.5 sqmm PVC insulated unsheathed cable with multistranded copper conductor as earth continuity conductor and connecting to common earth dolly complete all as specified and as directed:-

(a) One light point controlled by one switch

(b) One fan point controlled by one switch

(c) One Exhaust fan point controlled by one switch

(d) One 3 pin 5 amps switch socket on same board along with other switches.

(e) One 3 pin 5 Amps switch socket on independent board

(f) One bell point controlled by bell push switch on independent board.

All as per item No.2 here in before but with 4 Sqmm single core FRLSH PVC cable for one 3 pin 15 amps switch socket outlet on independent board.

Taking down sub main wiring (or) power wiring complete upto 2 runs of 10 Sqmm in PVC conduit removing to stores or taken as credit and making good the disturbed surfaces of wall, etc. complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Runs of cable and one run of PVC Conduit will be measured as 1 RM Unit.

M & L for sub main wiring with PVC insulated, 1100 volts grade single core FRLSH multistranded copper conductor cable conforming to IS specifications, 2 runs of 10 sqmm including one run of 10 sqmm single core multistranded copper conductor PVC insulated cables as earth continuity conductor with colour code drawn through and including one run of 25 mm dia rigid PVC conduit and conduit accessories or casing capping including accessories fixed on wall/ceiling etc., or concealed in wall and connecting to common earth dolly including taking down old unserviceable complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Two runs of cable and one run of cable will be measured as one Unit RM.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth of not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron/steel earth wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, washers and check nuts made out of galvanised iron, protected by GI pipe light grade 15 mm bore dia and connected to main control board all as shown in Electrical plate No.3 of MES SSR Part I including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, salt, charcoal dust, PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 in chamber, RCC 1:2:4 chamber cover with 6 mm dia MS bar at 100 mm centre to centre both ways and MS 6 mm dia hook complete all as specified and as directed.
