(G) Acoustic enclosure: CPCB approved enclosure is free standing floor mounted factory built and modular in construction to facilitate easy assembly at work site and will be drop over housing type. It will consist of acoustically treated panel housed in sheet steel will provide easy access for maintenance, repairs and operation. The enclosure is custom built to suit conditions, with the following features:- (a) Custom built product for various equipments, with ensure the optimum performance without duration.

(b) Rugged in construction maintenance free and modular designs which facilitate easy at site. (b) 16 SWG (1.6 mm) thick CRCA sheets to be used for enclosure panel to ensure longer life against weathering action. High quality acoustic insulation materials to be used as per IS 8183 for maximum sound absorption. Acoustic layers are supported by perforated sheets. (c) Sheet metal components of the enclosure should undergo various stages of surfacetreatment prior to painting which leads to be better life of the enclosure against weathering action. (d) Special paint treatment with pure polyester powder/epoxy to be provided for better weather resistance. (e) Well designed ventilation system to be provided to pump up the heat in the chamber efficiently. (f) For effective acoustic / weather sealing a special type weather sealing gaskets, new frame rubber gaskets to be used. (g) Working space is to be provided around tbe equipment for easy maintenance / repairs.

(h) Necessary cut out provision for entry and exist of fuel lines cable to be incorporated in the enclosure as per the requirement. (k) A see through transparent window (glass or acrylic) in front of engine panel to be provided for monitoring the operation. (l) Ducting if required, bellows, mechanical hardware like locks, hinges fasteners etc to be provided. (m) Deliverables. 75 dBA @ imtr at 75% load under free field conditions. The temp inside tee enclosure will be within as per manufacturers recommendations above ambient temp. (n) The enclosure should be provided witb bulk head light fitting for inside illumination (o) The battaries should be placed inside the enclosure beside the DG Set on a suitable inlsulated platform. (p) The DG Set should be provided with external Emergency stop push button. (q) The accoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pre treatment process. (f) Rate quoted shall be deemed to be included in making necessary holes to walls and making good the distrubed surfaces to match to original specification and connecting up all as specified and directed. (g) Civil Works :- All civil works with PCC plat form and related to foundations including of panel and equipments and making good the existing structrure of distrubed during installtion and commissioning of Genset. The depth of the foundation shall be minimum 300 mm with antivibration pads or as recommended by the manufacturer.

Notes for BOQ Sl Nos. 72 to 76 (OUTSOURCING SERVICES FOR LIFT) : (i) The lift shall be operated daily in one shift as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) The timings for one shift of 8 hours each daily i.e. First shift be from 0800 hours to 1600 Hours. (iii) The work shall be supervised by adequately qualified supervisor with relevant experience of minimum 5 years items under BoQ shall be deemed to be including the same. (iv) The unit rate is deemed to include for maintaining log books, record of repair /replacement of perished/ unserviceable, minor adjustments, minor repairs of all accessories, cleaning/up keeping of lift and surrounding area as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(v) One emergency light and necessary tools shall be available in a tool box with the operator in the shift for smooth functioning of lifts. (vi) Conveyance and communication system like mobile phone etc. shall be provided by the Bidders/Service providers to all Lift Attendants/Supervisors. (vii) The contractor shall ensure housekeeping, environmental cleanliness of area all round the lift and the area shall be kept absolutely neat and clean. The lift attendant shall clean the Lift car cabin, all landing floors and tiles all round lift doors with necessary cleaning material such as cotton cloth and cleaning solution etc.

(ix) The contractor shall abide by the latest Labour rules and minimum wages Act. Wages paid by the bidders to the persons employed shall not be less than the minimum wages fixed by the state/central government from time to time whichever is higher. The Bidders shall also insure the workmen employed on the job. (x) The contractor is responsible for insurance, EPF, ESI, Bonus, Labour welfare cess et., as applicable and shall be paid to the workmen as per existing Labour rules/ Acts/ regulations and rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for the same. (xi) Dress Code : The contractor shall provide the workmen with Dark Blue Colour uniform {formal pant & T-shirt} with labels showing/ printed i.e. "Name of the firm and designation" on front and on the back of the T-shirt along with protective clothing/ gear. The bidders shall also provide shoes to the workers and the persons shall not be allowed to enter the work site without wearing shoes.

(xii) INSURANCE: The contractor shall be responsible for all Accidents/Injuries happening to the workmen. Any accident causing minor/fatal injury, partial disability due to any untoward incident or non-adherence to safety and IE regulations or fault in maintaining of internal electric supply system or on account of any mishandling/ wrong operation/ lack of knowledge of safety precautions or on account of any circumstances beyond his/ their control, the contractor shall be solely responsible for settling all claims of compensation to the deceased, falling which department will have a right to recover any sum indicated/ claimed by Labour commissioner/court authorities. No claim whatsoever will be entertained in this regard. No compensation is payable by the department on this account. contractor shall provide first aid boxes to meet any emergency situations.

(xiii) The rate quoted by the bidders shall be deemed to be including Basic rate [Minimum Wages as notified by Government of India/ State Government/ Local body, which ever is higher], employers contribution towardsEmployees Provident Fund (EPF) liability, contribution towards Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), contribution towards Bonus. Overhead and profit and labour welfare cess (LWC) as applicable depending upon the manpower requirement. This will create onus on the bidders to ascertain the relevant rates and quote accordingly. The rates quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes, cess, levies are applicable including GST. DETAILS OF LIFT : 2nos of 08 Passenger Lift serve upto (S + 3) Floors for GD Coy OTM Accn. Note: The Manpower deployed shall be changed for every 11 months period. The rate quoted deemed to be inclusive for the same.

NOTES for BOQ Sl Nos. 77 to 79 (COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE OF LIFT) : [a] The contractor shall be required to employ required tradesmen with sound knowledge and adequate experience. All the manpower employed shall report to Office of AGE [E/M]/ Complaint Cell for day to day maintenance and efficient functioning of Lifts. [b] The contractor shall carryout the comprehensive maintenance of the lifts catered under subject work through the Original Equipment Manufacturer of that lift or from their accredited / authorised agencies only. The lowest bidder shall submit MoU from the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the Lift or from their accredited / authorised agencies to provide technical support, trained persons for maintenance & testing and spares before commencement of the work to GE. The spares shall be of the make as per existing or as per the OEM.

[c] The rate quoted for comprehensive maintenance includes for preventive maintenance by carrying out routine checks by skilled personnel as specified in Particular specifications herein after and breakdown services by supplying and replacement of all Major/ Minor Spares viz. Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic spares, LED Lights/consumables like lubrication oil/ grease/ hardwares like bolts, nuts, etc. as and when required for trouble free, smooth and efficient functioning of lifts including overhauling as and when required to all mechanical parts of lifts, repair/ maintenance of Gear Unit, repair / maintenance of Door Drive, Controllers, Pulleys, Limit Switches, Relays, door rollers, door belts, etc. complete all as directed. All the safety measures including ARDs shall be ensured for serviceable condition through out the contract period and cost of their spares, batteries etc. shall deemed to be included in the rate quoted and Nothing extra shall be paid on these accounts.

[d] The rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of testing of each lift by Licensed Lift Inspector of Government of Karnataka once in a year for worthiness and safety of the lifts. Certificate issued by the Licensed Lift Inspector shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-Charge and a copy of Certificate shall be displayed in all Lift Cabins as directed. [e] Emergency Light and necessary tools shall be available in a tool box in the shift for smooth functioning of lifts. [f] The contractor shall abide by the latest Labour Rules and Minimum Wages Act. [g] Wages paid by the contractor to the persons employed shall not be less than the minimum wages fixed by State / Central Government from time to time whichever is higher. [h] The contractor is responsible for making subscription towards Insurance, EPF, ESI, Labour Welfare Cess etc., as applicable and shall pay Gratuity, Bonus etc to the Workmen as per existing Labour Rules / Acts / Regulations and rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for the same.

[j] The contractor shall provide the workmen protective clothing / gear. The contractor shall also provide shoes to the workers and the persons shall not be allowed to enter the work site without wearing shoes.
