Supply of 12 port LIU, 19 inch rack mountable Numbers as per following specification: a) It should have 12 SP type ports for termination of SM optical fibres. b) It should be rack mountable with 1U height. c) It should be equipped with front managed saddle for jumper/patch cord management. d) It should have 12 SC termination. e) It should be equipped with adequate nos. of splicing trays to splice 12 fibres. f) It should have proper rubber grommet for cable protection and to minimize dust build up. g) It should be fully loaded with all the accessories for splicing and termination of fibres. h) It shall be of reputed make like D-Link or 3M or Digilink or Molex make. Installation & commissioning of 12 port LIU with Numbers all accessories and shall be used for terminations of optical fibers into the splice trays supplied with it, it shall be installed inside the 19 inch rack using all required fixing/ installation material like nuts, bolts, screws and cable ties etc. as per requirement. The splice trays shall be placed and secured into the LIU after splicing. The SC terminations shall be fixed and secured after splicing of the pigtails into the LIU. It shall be ensured that the movement of the trays is easy and free of any obstructions.

Supply of optic fiber pigtails for termination of Numbers OFC cables with following specification: a) It shall be single mode SC/SC type with push pull mechanism or as per site requirement and fully compliance with latest industry standard. b) It shall have length of 2 Meters at least. c) It shall have SC connector at one end and other shall be loose for splicing. d) It should be of reputed make D-Link or 3M or Digilink or Molex. Blowing/Drawing of OFC cable in HDPE/DWC Kilometre duct and protective work, as per direction of site engineer.

Splicing/ dropping/termination of each fiber/ Numbers pigtail in LIU/IO box/ terminal joint through fusion splicing for termination of OFC cables. The fibers terminated shall be tested and test report (hard copy and soft copy) shall be submitted to the Railways site in-charge for records. each fiber shall be properly marked with necessary ferrules/tags, as per following specification: i) The optical fibre cables shall be entered in to the rack through cable entry and using the cable guides. ii) The loosened ends of the fibres and pigtails shall be properly prepared for termination in to the already fixed LIU. iii) Each of the fibre shall be spliced with a pigtail by the method of fusion splicing using a Fusion Splicing Machine of standard reputed make. The splicing shall be done carefully by a skillful person. iv) The splices shall be carefully placed and well secured in the splice trays of the LIU. v) Each fiber /pigtail shall be properly marked with necessary ferrules/ tags.vi) The extra length of the fibers / pigtails shall be coiled and placed and secured with cable ties. vii) The optical connectors of the pigtails shall be placed into the patch panel as per the numbering of fibers.viii) All of the terminated fibers shall be tested with OTDR and test report (Hard copy and Soft copy) shall be submitted to the Railways site In-charge for records.

Supply of Optical Fiber Termination and Numbers Distribution Management System for 48 Core OFC fully loaded with Pigtails and Couplers Make Raychem/R&M or 3M equivalent. (Inspection by Consignee)

Supply of OFC Joint Closure for 24 Fibres as per Numbers RDSO specification no. RDSO/SPN/TC/68/2007 (Rev. Amdt. 1-1 or latest). (Inspection by Consignee)

Fixing of GI pipes for crossing the culverts, Metre bridges etc. and concreting of ends with brick masonry at both ends as per the instruction of Rly engineer at site.

Supply of Double walled corrugated pipe made Metre up of polyethylene of size 103.5 mm inner dia and 120 mm outer dia in 6 m straight length as per british standard No BSEN 50086-1. (Inspection by Consignee)

Laying of DWC/RCC pipes complete with clamp Metre and necessary fixtures.

Supply of RCC pipes half round of size 150mm Numbers 8000.00 dia outer and 100 mm dia internal 1 mtr long matching to IS No. 458/2003 amendment-1 with Rev.4. (Inspection by RITES)

Laying of RCC half round cement pipe of Numbers 4000.00 appprox. Size (150/300mm dia X 2 mtr. length) inside the trench after laying of cable. Pipes shall be placed as per directives of site engineer.

Design, supply, fabrication and errection of Metre stainless steel cable ladder and cable tray of size 300 x 600 mm of 21 SWG with suitable top cover air tight, modular and detachable at fixed interval, under COPand under roof of FOB and at any open location (may be needed to be placed above iron stand) as per site conditionand as per instructions of Railway site incharge, good finishing and accuracy to be maintained through out the length. The work shall be done as per instruction of site engineer. (Inspection by Consignee)

Supply of A class earthing - Supply of ESR Set ALTEC TERRA STREAMER Lightning Arrester with SS adaptor (TSP30, 50 Mtr. Radius) SPN: NFC-17-102-2011. (Inspection by RITES)

Supply of Class B&C surge protection Device Numbers (SPD) type I & II with visual indication and potential free contract to remote monitoring as per RDSO spec No. RDSO/SPN/165/2012 version 3.0 or latest and IEC standard 61643 for signals line 230 V AC application with handling lightning surges of 10/350 microseconds and switching surges of 8/20 microseconds. One set consists of 3 Nos of SPD (Two Nos of B Class (L N, N-E) and one no of C class (L-N) all enclosed in a box with KEMA or VDE certified as per latest IEC 61643-11-2011 standard class B&C surge pretection device required with Three modules only. Supply, Transporting and installation of Numbers concrete (RCC) route indicators at intervals of 50 meters as per the instructions of site incharge. They should be standard RCC with letters on one side "CR" and the other side "S&T Cables" as per drawing SK 12/10 of RVNL SC. In case of Telecom quad cable joint locations it shall be painted with RED colour. (Inspection by Consignee)

Excavation of cable trench as per cable route cum plan,1.0 mt. deep and 300mm wide along side the track in normal soil/strata, conforming to distances as per cable route plan and refilling after cable laying. This work includes covering of cable laid in trench by loose soil for a layer of 50mm thickness approximately before covering by stones/ bricks, clearing of route, bushes etc. The work shall be done as per the extant practice on Central Railway and instructions of Railway Engineer at site. In case depth of trench is not achievable due to site conditions proportionate payment will be made.

Excavation of cable trench as per cable route cum plan,1 mt. deep and 300mm wide along side the track in hard soil, conforming to distances as per cable route plan and refilling. This work includes covering of cable laid in trench by loose soil for a layer of 50mm thickness approximately before covering by stones/bricks, clearing of route, bushes etc. The work shall be done as per the extant practice on Central Railway and instructions of Railway Engineer at site. In case depth of trench is not achievable due to site conditions proportionate payment will be made.

Digging of trench 1.0 M deep from rail cum flange/road level (for LC) and 0.3Mtrs. to 0.6 Mtrs. wide and back filling after placing of DWC/RCC/GI pipe.(Placing of DWC/RCC/GI pipe covered separately. Horizontal boring of cable duct of minimum 2.0 Metre mtr depth along with laying of 120 mm HDPE pipe for track crossing with minimum depth reckoned from bottom of the rail/road crossing with minimum depth reckoned from ground level. The work shall be done as per extant pracrice & instructions of site engineer. Preperation of site for Horizontal boring shall be carried out in presence of Railway representative. HDPE pipe will be supplied by Railways. Note_ Contractor shall provide all material required for boring and adequate Nos of labours for proper laying of cables into the bore. Cable shall be laid cautiously so that it should not get damage due to rough handling & pressure on cable.

Where ever depth of 0.5 m cable trench is not cum feasible cable shall be protected as under:- Preparation of cement mixture 1:3:6 with contractor's own materials and spreading cement concrete mixture layer of 100 mm thick over the already laid cables in the excavated trench.

Cutting of all types of Roads/ platforms cum preparatory to trenching and excavation to depth of 300mmx300mm wide approx. and refilling after laying of RCC/GI /DWC pipe & to restore them to original condition. The work shall be done as per extant practice on C.Rly & instructions of Rly engineer at site.

Laying of signalling/Power/Telecom cable of Kilometre various cores/sizes in trenches.

Maintenance RDSO/SPN/197/2008 or latest consisting of: (1) Copper bond steel electrode 3 Mtr. long 17 mm dia. with copper bonding thickness of min 250 micron & UL listed & marked-01 No. (2) Earth Enhance compound RDSO approved in sealed bag of 10 Kg-03 Nos. (3) Copper strip 150 x 25 x 6 mm-02 Nos. (4) Copper strip 300 x 25 x 6 mm-01 No. (5) 35 Sq.mm copper cable to connect earth electrode to MEEB-15 Mtr. approximately. (Inspection by RDSO)

Installation RDSO/SPN/197/Ver 1 or latest, to construct earthing of </= 1 Ohm consisting of: a) Digging the earth to required depth, insertion of electrode, filling of earth enhancing compound & construction of chamber, measurement of earth value and other work of earthing as per code of practice. All the consumables for mounting the copper tape inside the equipment room, exothermic weld material and tools & fixtures for the welding copper tapes and electrodes etc. shall be arranged by the contractor.
