Earth work in surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm in depth but exceeding 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan including getting out and disposal of excavated earth upto 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-Charge:

All kinds of soil

Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50m outside the periphery of the area cleared.

Reinforced cement concrete work in beams, suspended floors, roofs having slope up to 15° landings, balconies, shelves, chajjas, lintels, bands, plain window sills, staircases and spiral stair cases above plinth level up to floor five level, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement with 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand(zone-III)derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal sizederived from natural sources).

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for :

Suspended floors, roofs, landings, balconies and access platform

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete above plinth level.

Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge

25 mm average thickness

Cleaning of reinforcement from rust from the reinforcing bars to give it a total rust free steel surface by using alkaline chemical rust remover of approved make with paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application with wire brush and thoroughly washing with water and allowing it to dry, all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Bars upto 12 mm diameter

Providing, mixing and applying bonding coat of approved adhesive on chipped portion of RCC as per specifications and direction of Engineer-In-charge complete in all respect.

Epoxy bonding adhesive having coverage 2.20 sqm/kg of approved make.

Providing, mixing and applying SBR polymer (of approved make) modified Cement mortar in proportion of 1:4 (1 cement: 4 graded coarse sand with polymer minimum 2% by wt. of cement used) as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. Note: Measurement and payment: The pre-measurement of thickness shall be done just after the surface preparation is completed and Payment under this item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been done and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding / tapping with a blunt metal instrument and/or the 75mm size cube crushing strength at the end of 28 days to be not less than 30 N/Sqmm2).

25 mm average thickness in 2 layers.

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq. meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground , all complete as per directions of Engineer-In-Charge.

With cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand).

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

Making scaffolding with bamboo and ropes with good quality bamboo props with vertical spacing not more than 1.80 m c/c and horizontal spacing not more than 1.20 m c/c tying it with building at intermediate points and making arrangement to inspect the work by providing access platforms to work upto floor V level including removing the same after completion of work, taking all care against safety of work force as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.( Height and length of scaffolding to be measured)

Cleaning of drainage manholes and sewer lines by removing the deposited and other rubbish from the manholes and cleaning the sewer lines by rodding and flushing with water as directed by the Engineer -in- charge. (Rate per One manhole and sewer line to next manhole)

Cleaning of over head tank by following method : (1) Empting the tank and make it near to dry (2) Apply bleaching powder uniformly @ 150gms /1000 Ltrs. to the inside surface and wait for one hour (3) After one hour clean the surface perfectly by removing the scaling on the walls with rotary jet mechanism (4) Removing mud, silt, sludge and garbage from the tank with specified sludge pump (5) Spraying anti bacterial agent on walls to kill harmful bacterial agent on walls to kill the harmful bacteria complete all as per directions of the Engineer-in-charge. (The rate includes filling of outlets of tank with cotton during cleaning and cleaning of all the dirt/ waste etc., from the terrace.)

Mechanical cleaning of Septic Tank by using mechanical cleaning mechine by suction, pumping, vaccum cleaning and removing all the waste liquid and sludge from the septic tank and disposaing the waste at Municipal dumping ground. The rate includes all mechinery and workmen required and all incidental charges during pumping, filling, transporting etc complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. For capacity up to 60,000 Liters.

Providing and fixing/ replacing in position precast RCC OH water tank cover without frame of required shape and approved quality including disposal of the damaged cover outside the compound etc., complete as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge

Upto 680mm x 520 mm size & 25 mm thick for RCC OH Tanks covers.

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved.
