PROCUREMENT OF 125MM FORGED STEEL GRINDING MEDIA

The bidder should have experience in supplying 125mm dia forged steel grinding media balls to any metal mining process plant in India or abroad. Experience Requirement Clause a) The tenderer must be a manufacturer who has manufactured, tested, and supplied 125mm dia forged steel (FS) grinding media balls to any metal mining process plant in India or abroad. The quantity supplied should be at least 80%(i.e., 480 MT) of the total quantity required under this tender in any one of the following financial years: 2021-22, 2022-23 or 2023-24. Note: For Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs), the minimum supply requirement shall be 40%(i.e., 240 MT) of the quantity required. b) Tenders submitted by authorized representatives/agents of eligible manufacturers may also be considered, provided the following conditions are met: 1. The Manufacturer must meet the eligibility criteria mentioned above in full and must furnish an authorization letter in the prescribed format, assuring full guarantee and warranty obligations for the goods supplied. 2. The Authorized Representative/Agent must have supplied at least 30%(i.e., 180MT) of the tendered quantity of 125mm dia FS balls to any metal mining process plant in India or abroad during any one of the financial years: 2021-22, 2022-23, or 2023-24. Note: All tenderers must enclose relevant supporting documents, such as Purchase Order copies, as proof of compliance with the above criteria.

The manufacturers or authorized dealers/distributors are eligible. a. In case of Manufacturers they should submit their valid Manufacturing License. b. In case of authorized dealers/ distributors, they shall submit the Manufacturers Manufacturing License. Along with that, they should also furnish authorization letter from the manufacturer in the letterhead as per prescribed format mentioned in Annexure-V.

Past Performance Criteria: Bidders who have not previously supplied the tendered item (125mm dia forged steel grinding media balls) to HGML shall submit a performance certificate issued by a metal mining process plant in India or abroad during any one of the financial years: 2021-22, 2022-23, or 2023-24. Financial Capability: a) The average annual financial turnover of the tenderer should not be less than Rs.10 Crores, during the last three preceding financial years, namely: FY 2021-22 FY 2022-23 FY 2023-24. b) In case of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs), the required average annual financial turnover shall be 50% of, Rs. 10 Crores, i.e., Rs. 5 Crores, during the last two preceding financial years: FY 2022-23 FY 2023-24. The tenderer shall furnish the following as documentary proof for the financial capability criteria. 1. Annual Turnover Certificate for the relevant financial years, duly certified by a Chartered Accountant, OR 2. Audited Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Statement for the relevant financial years, duly certified by a Chartered Accountant.
