In case the source or route of the channel changes, the same methodology shall be adopted to close the gaps, and additional sand bags shall be placed with proper compaction wherever required to ensure effective plugging at the entrance of the old dry dock.

The rate quoted by the bidder shall include providing and operating the long boom excavator of required capacity & size, cost of fine aggregate, gunny bags, filling and stitching of bags, transportation to the work site, lifting and underwater placement, deployment of divers, all accessories, labour charges, tools & plants, Labour Welfare Cess, GST, etc., complete.
Equipments:

| 2.00 | Removal of available earth/debris :
Removal of earth / debris from the work site using a suitable long-boom excavator and/or grab bucket system to the required level, and disposal / stacking of the same within a lead of 500 m inside the Dry Dock complex.
Costs:
The rate quoted by the bidder shall include cost of all labour charges, truck / tipper for shifting of earth, man power assistance for mobilizing and positioning equipments, forming any temporary approaches, if required, tools and plants, Labour Welfare Cess, GST, etc, complete. The equipment shall be provided on free of hire charges.
Equipment:
1. At the request of the contractor with advance intimation, the Department shall spare the available dewatering pump of capacity 3000 m³/hr installed at work site, in "as is where is condition" at free of rental charge and operate the same by employee's of ALHW. The pump cannot be shifted and shall be operated only from the present location and ALHW shall arrange to operate the pumps as and when required by the contractor.
2. At the request of the contractor with advance intimation, ALHW shall spare the available TFC-280 model, 75 Ton capacity crawler-mounted crane, with operator at free of hire charge.
3. At the request of the contractor with advance intimation, ALHW shall spare the available Grab bucket of 1.15 Cum capacity on free of hire charges. Any repairs to the grab bucket shall be carried out by the department as per the site requirement.
4. The long-boom excavator ,Trucks & tipper shall be arranged by the contractor at their own cost.
5. The contractor shall arrange additional standby dewatering pump units of suitable capacity for pumping out any excess water accumulated in the working area at their own cost.

Providing, supplying, and driving HOT – ROLLED steel sheet piles of type PRX-600-12 or equivalent, having a width of 600 mm and made of 12 mm thick MS plate, as per the drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The sheet piles shall be driven to the required depth using a TATA crawler-mounted crane and vibro hammer, ensuring proper interlocking between adjacent piles and maintaining required verticality and alignment.
Costs:

Steel Shuttering for Deck slab, Deck wall & Counter fort wall etc. Steel centering and shuttering including strutting propping etc. and removal of form for : Dock wall, counter fort wall & counter beam etc., so as to give a fair faced and smooth concrete surface, strutting and propping etc., as directed by the EIC. Costs: The rate quoted by the bidder shall include cost of steel shuttering plate, bolt & nuts, props, scaffolding charges ,all labour charges, cost of transportation charges of all materials to work site and tools and plant, Labour welfare cess, GST, etc, complete.
Anchoring arrangement for Dock wall etc. Providing and fixing shear connectors with Hilti Injector Mortar HIT-RE 500 chemical or equivalent brand , by drilling and injectors injecting HIT-RE 500 chemical or equivalent brand till refusal and fixing of steel reinforcement 12mm dia, 16mm dia & 25 mm dia. Costs: The rate quoted by the bidder shall include cost of Hilti Injector Mortar HIT-RE 500 or equivalent brand, cost of drill bit, hire charges of drilling machine and Hilti Injector Mortar machine, all labour charges for drilling and cleaning holes, injecting mortar with injectors and fixing & placing of steel reinforcement in holes for anchorage, including transportation charges of all materials to work site , all cost of labour charges, tools and plant, Labour welfare cess, GST, etc, complete.

Cutting and removing the concrete of the existing deck slab of the old dry dock to form a groove of size 400 mm × 200 mm along the top of the old dry dock slab for an expansion joint for deck floor. Costs: The rate quoted by the bidder shall include cost of machinery, all labour, equipment, scaffolding, transportation charges and disposal of debris from site, tools and plant, Labour welfare cess, GST, etc, complete.
Joint filler for expansion joint. Providing 50mm thick hydro seal XL board Non-absorbent, semi-rigid, polyethylene joint filler conforming to the standard specifications of approved make for Dock wall etc Costs: The rate quoted by the bidder shall include cost of filler materials, all labour, equipment, scaffolding, transportation charges, tools and plant, Labour welfare cess, GST, etc, complete.
Sealant for expansion joint. Supplying and applying SubmerSeal / EmSeal of SIKA or equivalent conforming to the standard specifications of approved make for expansion joints of Dock Floor & wall etc Costs: The rate quoted by the bidder shall include cost of sealant materials, all labour, equipment, scaffolding, transportation charges, tools and plant, Labour welfare cess, GST, etc, complete.
Single layer LDPE sheet for expansion joint. Providing and laying single layer of LDPE sheet of 200 microns thickness conforming to the standard specifications of approved make under the counter beam at expansion joint of Dock Floor. Costs: The rate quoted by the bidder shall include cost of LDPE sheet & other materials, all labour, equipment, scaffolding, transportation charges, tools and plant, Labour welfare cess, GST, etc, complete.
Rain water pipe arrangement. Providing PVC 150 mm dia rain water pipe conforming to the standard specifications of approved make at the counter beam in the expansion joint as per the Drawing and as per the direction of EIC. Costs: The rate quoted by the bidder shall include cost of PVC pipe & other materials, all labour, fixing charges, equipment, scaffolding, transportation charges, tools and plant, Labour welfare cess, GST, etc, complete.
Dock wall expansion joint with SS plate Providing and fixing of 12 mm thick, 300 mm wide plates grade SS 304 on Dock side walls at expansion joints as per the drawing and as directed by the EIC. Costs: The rate quoted by the bidder shall include cost of all materials, all machinery, scaffolding, all labour, fixing charges, equipment, scaffolding, transportation charges, tools and plant, Labour welfare cess, GST, etc, complete.
Dock wall expansion joint with SS bolt & nuts Providing and fixing of grade SS 304 bolts and nuts, size 200 mm long & 20 mm dia @ 600 mm c/c spacing on the dock side wall of the new portion of Dry dock as per the drawing ad as directed by the EIC Costs: The rate quoted by the bidder shall include cost of all materials, fixing, fasteners, welding, including preparation of template, all machinery, scaffolding, transportation, all cost of labour charges, tools and plant, Labour welfare cess, GST, etc, complete.
Dismantling the existing end wall & other walls for restoring the dry dock to full operational condition. Dismantling the existing end wall, counter fort walls, beams, etc. of the old dry dock up to the required level including cutting of steel reinforcement without causing any damage to adjacent or supporting structures, with suitable safety arrangements and disposal of debris with a lead of 500 m of Dry Dock complex as directed by the EIC.
