Excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/ wedging out of rock ( where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil setting out true to the required line, grades width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge at site according to the M.O.R.D. technical specification clause 1603.1 and 1603.2 Any loss to the public / private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts The rates are inclusive octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government. A recovery of useful stone for 66.03 cubic metre @ 170/- (Rupees one hundred seventy)only per cubic metre shall be done on prorata basis for each running bill for this item.

Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excvation of other road structures or other sources in layers of suitable thickness not exceeding 200mm ( two hundred millimetres) spreading to required slope and compacted with three wheel 80-100 KN static/ vibratory road roller to meet the requirements of table 300.1 and 300.2 of MORD specifications to lines, grades, level and cross sections as per drawings and directions of the Engineer-in-charge including preparation of foundation for embankment in all kinds and classification of soils including saturated soil and dewatering/ bailing out of water wherever required including hauling of materials for construction of embankment within all leads and lifts. The rate shall include carriage of machineries, equipment, tools and materials and safety measures, payment of all taxes and other incidentals necessary to complete the work in all respects. The rate includes octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetera in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock, chiselling/wedging out rocks( where blasting in prohibited ) as per drawings and M.O.R.D. technical specification clause 305.1 and as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal upto all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm ( one hundred fifty milimetres) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water ( surface and sub soil water ) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering and directions of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads , lifts and other incidental . Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced cement concrete 1:4:8 (one cement: four sand: eight graded crushed stone aggregate 25mm (twenty five millimetres) nominal size in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specifications clause 802, 803, 804, 1202 and 1203 as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge , including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rate includes octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax , goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundation for all type of structure complete of plain cement concrete grade M-10 (M-Ten) on ground or under water and curing complete including pumping or bailing out water, dewatering removal of slush as required at site which may arise at the time of laying under water complete for all heights/ depths including the cost of form work as per drawings and M.O.R.D. technical specification Clause 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge , including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rate includes octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax , goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated concrete for plain/ reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 (one cement: two sand: four graded crushed stone aggregate) in open foundation of culvert complete of plain/ reinforced concrete grade M-20 ( M twenty ) nominal mix cement contents not less than 330 kg (three hundred thirty kilogram) per cubic metre on ground or under water including curing complete including pumping or bailing out water , dewatering removal of slush as required at site which may arrise at the time of laying under water complete for all heights/ depths including the cost of form work in abutments, piers and return walls etcetera as per drawings and technical specification clause 802, 803, 1202 ans 1203 and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge, including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidential . The rate includes octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated reinforced cement concrete in open foundation to obtain minimum compressive strength of grade M-20 ( M- twenty ) design mix cement contents not less than 330 kg (Three hundred thirty kilogram) per cubic metre on ground and crushed stone aggregate 20mm (twenty millimetres) nominal size or under water including curing complete including pumping or bailing out water , dewatering removal of slush as required at site which may arrise at the time of laying under water complete for all heights/ depths including the cost of form work in abutments, piers and return walls etcetera but exluding the cost of reinforcement as per drawings and M.O.R.D. technical specification clauses 802, 803, 804, 805, 806, 807, 1202 and 1204 and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge, including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rate includes of octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated reinforced cement concrete in open foundation as per drawing and M.O.R.D. technical specification Clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 designed to obtain the minimum strength of grade M-25 (M twenty five) design mix cement contents not less than 404 kg per cubic metre and curing complete including cost of form work but excluding the cost of reinforcement for reinforced concrete work as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidental. The rate including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in substructure complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clauses 1002, 1005, 1010 and 1202 including cutting, bending, binding and placing in position complete in all respect including cost of binding wire upto all heights including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals . The rate includes octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in superstructure complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clauses 1001, 1004 and 1206 including cutting, bending, binding and placing in position complete in all respect including cost of binding wire upto all heights including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals . The rate includes octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying ( to level or slope) 900mm dia (nine hundred millimetre ) diametre reinforced cement concrete heavy duty non pressure pipes IS Class NP-2 for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1 : 2 ( One cement : two sand) but excluding the cost of excavation, protection works, back filling, concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets as per drawing and technical specifications clause 1106 and as per direction of Engineer – in- Charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals . The rate includes octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Back filling with granular material behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing, direction of Engineer in charge and MORD technical specification clause 1204.3.8 including carriage of materials/machinery required to execute the work in all leads and lifts including other incidentals. The rate includes octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Finishing wall with water proofing cement paint of approved brand and manufacture and of required shade on undecorated wall surfaces (two coats) to give an even shade after throughly brushing the surface to remove all dirts and remains of loose powered materials complete as directed by the Engineer in charge including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rate includes octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cessor other taxes imposed by the Government.
