Excavation in trenches in soft & loose soil not exceeding 1.5 meter deep and not exceeding 1.5 m width and getting out soil including forming bottom surface to required slope/gradient for laying cables/pipes etc. all as specified and directed including removing cable protection PCC covers/ bricks & stacking serviceable covers / bricks for reuse and disposal of unserviceable covers within 50 m all as specified and directed. Note : Excavation shall be made carefully in order to avoid damage of existing cables and protection covers.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers of 25 cm thick after the cables etc. are laid, jointed & tested complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus excavated soil not exceeding 50 Mtr distance and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

S&F bricks well burnt sub class ‘B’ bricks in trenches on cable as cable protection across the length of the cable (width wise) complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for sand cushioning for cable protection with dry river sand and punning to provide required cushioning for UG cable complete all as specified and directed. Note : Punned thickness of sand shall be measured & paid.

Disconnecting ,taking out and removing from trenches/ducts/sleeve/on pole/wall etc existing LT UG XLPE insulated, armoured cable of any description, any size/core and in any position complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes of cable :- Note: Earth work shall be measured & paid separately under respective item. 95 Sqmm 3.5 Core

Supply and Fixing in repair of of MS Hinge plate in existing feeder piller boxes/ panel boards with necessary spot welding etc including making necessary adjustment for free and smooth movement of panel and locking arrangements complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and Fixing in repair of 2 mm thick CRCA sheet duly fabricated in existing shape and size with and including and all jointing material such as nuts bolts or washer and welding etc. complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : (I). The panel board repaired shall be made totally enclosed, weather proof, warming proof for installing incoming / outgoing MCCB / Switch fuses/ cable etc. complete all as directed (ii) The rates quoted by the contractor shall be included necessary cutting, welding, levelling and jointing etc. as directed to match & accommodate with the existing feeder pillar box / panel board . (iii) The replaced portion shall be painted with two coat of synthetic enamelled paint to match existing colour over a coat of red oxide primer.

Disconnecting / Dismantling Taking out old Spreader terminals and Supply & Fixing new Spreader MCCB Terminals Current Rating 150/175/200/250 Amps all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of the old decorated existing external and internal steel surfaces of feeder pillar boxes/panels/ boards of any description and in any position including removal of disintegrated & deteriorated paint either by hand scrapping or by blow lamps, applying necessary filler coat and stopping as required and applying two coats of synthetic enameled paint (grey in color) with using spray machine on old prepared surfaces complete all as specified and directed . Note : Rates quoted by the contractor shall be included for writing the MES /SM No and other relevant details with paint in the pattern and style as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge
