CONVERSION OF EXISTING AC PLANT ROOM TO AHU ROOM Roughening surface of old concrete floor/roof by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water using wire brush brooming down and applying the following treatment all as directed in order of precedence as stated :- (i) 15mm thick screed bed in CM (1:4) on existing roof surface true to level. (ii) Applying one coat of bituminous primer @ 0.40 Ltr/Sqm. (iii) Supply and laying 3mm thick APP based polymeric membrane of approved manufactured with weight not less than 3.60 Kgs per Sqm reinforced with non-woven polyester fabric/matt weighing not less than 160gms per Sqm having softening point not less than 150 mm centigrade, having tensile strength of 650 N/5cm and 350 N/5cm in longitudinal and transverse directions respectively of the reinfocred tearing strength of 180 N by torch application . Polymeric membrane shall be taken to a height of 30cm(minimum) and then inserted inside the groove of parapet wall and shall be finished by a membrane flashing wherever it is noticed. Note :- (i) Laying APP based polymeric membrane shall be done torch on method as per manufactures instructions. (ii) A minimum overlap of 100mm and 75mm should be made at the end and sides of the polymeric membrane respectively and sealed all overlaps and joints as per manufacturers instruction. iii) APP based polymeric membrane shall be of any one of the approved makes as specified here-in-after and shall conform to specifications given in IS 16540-2017/IS 16532-2017.
Item No 10.01 Contd..... (iv) Contractor shall produce necessary test certificate of the manufacturer to the Engr-in-Chage before incorporation in the work. (vii) The Plant shall be operated by the contractor till completion of Phase II test by engaging skilled Technician having ITI qualification round the clock in three shift of 08 Hrs per day (One skilled Refrigeration Mechanic per shift) as directed by GE. Five percentage of quoted rate of 10.13 shall be released after successful completion of three seasonal phase, i.e,. Phase II Test and manning operation of AC plant) (viii)The Defect liability period of the contract shall start after the completion of all phase-II tests. (ix) The cost of control device, control wiring, component, and connection to microprocessor control unit required for founctioning of the AC plant to achieve desired inside conditions shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates by the Contractor. (x) The separate control wiring layout showing the HWG, Chillers, Thermostat, Humidistat, Humidifier with digital display devices and microprocessor/VFDs shall be submitted to Accepting Officer for approval before commencement of work
Supply, installation, commissioning & testing of flame proof of AHU of capacity not less than 18000 CFM for operation of supply and return air application suitable capacity, indoor type, draw through type of sectionalized construction, factory made, floor mounted double skin type made of 25mm thick modular AHU panels with GI casing of thickness 24 Gauge outside layers and 24 Gauge inside layer injected with CFC free polyurethane foam (PUF) of 38 kg/cum density insulation complete with blower section, chilled water cooling coil section, heating coil section and water spray sprinkler system, filter section with muffler and access door to attend the motor/fan with lighting provisions and all accessories capacity not less than 30000 CFM including necessary PCC foundation with vibration isolators all as specified and as directed including comprising of following :- (i) The unit shall consist of 6 rows deep copper Cooling coil and 2 rows deep copper heating coil ( copper tubes not less than 0.41 mm ) duly sorrounded with aluminium fins (12 FPI) of 8 rows deep copper tube with aluminium fins with automatic controlled anti-freeze thermostat . (ii) Blower section complete with blower having forward curved centrifugal fan for weather maker suitable for desired static pressure as specified , with minimum 2 bends GSS eliminators with suitable capacity TEFC squirrel cage induction motor (IP-55 and class F insulation) for operation on 3 phase 415 volt 50 HZ AC supply with belt driven pulley.

The dampers shall also be provided with jam seal (compression type) on sides to prevent spread of smoke and fire. The blades of the dampers are held in the ‘open’ position by a high tensile spring and a fusible link. (b) The operator must be skilled and ITI Holder in respective trade should be fully conversant with the maintenance and operation of AC Plant with minimum five year experience in the relevant field. (c) The operator shall also be responsible for keeping installation premises clean and Tidy. (d) All maintenance should be recorded in register as per maintenance schedule and contractor should obtain the signature of Engineer-in-Charge as maintenance schedule carried out.
Sch 'A' Part-XI (SCHEDULE OF CREDIT) Note :- Amount of Rs. 4800.00 indicated in Tender Documents as Schedule of Credit shall be deducted from the total quoted amount of BOQ.
